Oscar de la Hoya says that he expects Joseph “Jojo” Diaz da Floyd Schofield a real test of November 8 in a 10-round featherlight light-coefficient on Dazn at Dickies Arena at Fort Worth in Texas.

The Golden Boy de la Hoya promoter states that he sees 23-year-old Schofield (19-0, 13 KO) as a “superstar”. He just didn’t have the opportunity to show what he could do.

Can Schofield cope with veterans’ pressure?

Former super feather champion IBF Diaz (34-8-1, 15 Kos), who in the last four years in the last four years in Chicago, Illinois in Chicago, Illinois over the past four years over the past four years over the past four years in the last four years in the last four years of August 21, 2025 in Chicago, Illino. Prograis has fallen several times in battle, even though he lost.

The potential of the Super Gwiades on the line

“Joseph Diaz had a huge performance against Regis Prograis. It will be a tough challenge for the” kid “. If “Kid” goes there, as he did against Tevin, we have a superstar on our hands. Golden Boy BoxinG.

“Kid Austin,” get ready. Get ready because “yo -yo” is approaching you. I am telling you now, we have a superstar in “Kid Austin,” said De la Hoya.

It is too early to know if Schofield will become something other than a pretender. Although he looked great in his last fight, rejecting the former super feather champion IBF Tevin Farmer in the first round of June 28, 2025, he was dealing with a 35-year-old warrior.

In addition, the farmer entered the exhausting fights that went to a distance against William Zezedie. Tevin took many penalties in those fights that he lost by a few decisions. It was not an ideal situation for a farmer to go straight to the battle of Schofield just three months after losing a 12-round unanimous decision Zepeda on March 29, 2025 at Cancun, Mexico.

Mediation of real talent Schofield

Perhaps the exact meter of Schofield’s talent was his performance against Rene Tellez Giron on November 2, 2024. He could not do much against Giron, he was dropped at 11 and forced to win the decision at the 12-round distance.

We would know how good Schofield was if he did not withdraw from the fight with Shakur Stevenson at the beginning of this year on February 22, 2025. Schofield had food poisoning.

Terence Crawford Declares One Current Fighter Unbeatable: "He Will Take Over"

Terence Crawford believes one man will follow in his footsteps and retire as an unbeaten world champion, essentially becoming a generational great in the process.

‘Bud’ became not only a world champion but a three-division undisputed king, ending his career with a legacy-defining unanimous decision triumph over Canelo Alvarez.

Even before that, Crawford was considered an elite pound-for-pound operator for over a decade, with many believing his most complete performance came against Errol Spence Jr in 2023.

But while the American is perhaps in a class of his own, he nonetheless believes that four-division world champion Shakur Stevenson can achieve a similar degree of success.

The 29-year-old claimed a career-best victory in January, losing just one round as he dethroned Teofimo Lopez with a masterful unanimous decision victory.

Having now signed with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing, though, it remains to be seen whether he defends his WBO super-lightweight title or pursues opportunities elsewhere.

Either way, Crawford has told Fight Hub TV that Stevenson has the mental and physical attributes to remain unbeaten at the highest level.

“I think Shakur [will take over]for sure, Shakur hands down. I think, given the opportunity, he’s going to show the world that he’s the best. His mental, his defense [sets him apart]takes his craft serious. He’s the type of the fighter that you gotta pull out the gym. [Is he beatable?] Not at all. Everybody [is] beatable, but I don’t see nobody beating him.”

Since inking a promotional deal with Zuffa, Stevenson has named Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis as two potential opponents who would cement his greatness.

The slick southpaw could therefore compete anywhere between lightweight and 147lbs, depending on which division offers the most realistic opportunities.
