David Benavidez moves his shoulders to defeat David Morrell

Benavidez vs Morrell action

David Benavidez developed David Morrell in the fight with overdue drama, because “The Monster” seemed to swim to victory.

Morrell began clearly in the first four rounds, but Benavidez soon took over in the middle of rounds. Taking advantage of the upper and body shots, Benavidez gradually looked at Morrell and placed points on the board for most rounds.

The dominant half of the party was disturbed when Morrell was successful overdue. This pressure ended with the knocking of the eleventh round, which seemed to be more embarrassed by Benavidez than anything else. However, Morrell wasted the 10-8 session, hitting Benavidez on the bell.

Judge Thomas Taylor, who told both men from the fight that he would be raw in the bell, he had a point from a Cuban. Benavidez saw the twelfth round at the 116-110 card on the WBN Live results card.

Judges in Ringside won 118-108 and 115-111 [twice]. Compupox Statistics supported the triumph.

They read: “Benavidez landed more blows than Morrell in 10 out of 12 rounds, twice as many blows over Morrell, and combined 48% of his power.

“Morrell shot a lonely knocking out of the fight in the final seconds of the eleventh round, but he was determined by the point of the Benavidez’s bell.

“None of Morrella’s previous opponents landed over 76 power blows. Benavidez landed 181.

Benavidez is now the most vital claimant to the undisputed airy heavyweight title, which Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will compete this month.

Beterbiev and Bivol meet on February 22, when we find out how the Masters of Boxing and Turks Alalshikh plan to cooperate after the consequence. Benavidez is now a star in Las Vegas, so taking him from the capital of boxing and sending him to Saudi Arabia seems to be the wrong movement.

As for Morrella, he wants a rematch with Benavidez, but maybe he will have to wait for the opportunity. If the winner of Beterbiv vs Bivol refuses to face Benavidez, the second collision with Morrell for the title of the world in Bonafide is not excluded.
