Daniel Jacobs says he bends towards Terenka Crawford, winning on September 13 against Canelo Alvarez because of Crawford’s skills. The former two-time medium scale champion Jacobs believes that Crawford (41-0, 31 KO) has an advantage against the undisputed Master of a super medium weight Canelo (63-2, 39 KO) in the offensive statistics department.
The only thing Jacobs asks is whether Crawford can ponderous down Canelo with his power, because if he can’t, he will go down to relieve his larger shots all night. Crawford couldn’t do this by moving to 154 in his last fight a year ago against Israil Madrimov.
His power did not move from 147 and took many blows than a stronger Madrimov and was lucky that he won. Many fans thought Crawford lost. I watched it and I had Madrimov in 9-3.

Jacobs forgets to mention the age of Bivol compared to Crawford. Bivol was 31 years aged, when Canelo lost to him in 2022. However, Crawford would be 38 years aged in September, he is much older, smaller and was less dynamic in his career than Bivol, when he fought Canelo three years ago.
Jacobs makes a strange comparison, remembering Bivol and Crawford, because they are completely different in terms of age, size, power and activity. This is a useless comparison.

I don’t think it’s hard for Canelo. What will be hard is for the Mexican star to catch up with Terence, because he will be on his bike, as if he fought Israil Madrimov.
Crawford’s defense strategy
He will circulate around the ring, trying to win with a stab, throwing individual arrows and tied Canelo when he tries to get closer. This is what we saw from Crawford against Madrimov in August last year. It looked like Shakur, but with a lot of mixed sticking. Bud cannot stand and fight with Canelo, because the difference in power is too significant.
Initially, he will try to fight Alvarez, but when it is hit, he will start to move a lot. Turks Alalshikh will probably regret using Crawford as an opponent of Canelo, because he is not involved enough to be a fun match for fans watching Netflix.

Canelo’s way of thinking against Crawford

Crawford is weaker, slower, smaller, older and less mobile than Canelo’s last opponent, former super middle champion IBF William Scull. Crawford looked much weaker and slower than Scull in his last fight with Israil Madrimov 11 months ago in August 2024.
Departing from Omah, Nebraska Terenca will be a year older when he will face Canelo, and he will not be stronger or faster than he showed, which many considered a loss for Madrimov. When you look at the combined things that Buda has against him, you can’t win it to win, because this is not a division of 147 pounds. He is getting aged too.
The impact of free time

Everybody [is] beatable, but I don’t see nobody beating him.”
Since inking a promotional deal with Zuffa, Stevenson has named Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis as two potential opponents who would cement his greatness.
The slick southpaw could therefore compete anywhere between lightweight and 147lbs, depending on which division offers the most realistic opportunities.
Oleksandr Usyk has shared his reaction to Anthony Joshua‘s dramatic knockout victory against Kristian Prenga.
Usyk nearly suffered his own shock defeat in May when he was pushed to the limit by kickboxing star Rico Verhoevenand two months on it was nrw teammate Joshua’s turn to come close to a massive upset loss that would have stunned the heavyweight division.

Fury was victorious on Friday as he earned a seventh round retirement win against Mariusz Wach in Thailand, paving the way for the showdown against Joshua later this year.
Jake Paul was the last man to fight Anthony Joshua and he has now revealed his verdict on AJ’s chaotic victory over Kristian Prenga.
Joshua went up against Prenga in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Saturdayin a clash that was expected to be a comfortable win for the former world heavyweight champion in order to set up the long overdue battle against Tyson Fury.
Any hopes of seeing that clash were nearly ended after AJ was dropped twice in the opening round of the bout, though he was able to recover and claim the second round knockout to come out on top and prevent a stunning shock upset from taking place.

The win for Joshua should now tee up for meeting with Fury later this year, after ‘The Gypsy King’ held up his end of the bargain by also securing a win in his warm-up bout on Friday, securing a seventh round retirement win against Mariusz Wach.
