Dubois vs Chisora

WBN may confirm that Daniel Dubois will defend his IBF heavyweight championships in the last fight of Derek Chisory.

Worldboxingnews.com learned on Thursday from the international boxing federation that Dubois must soon agree to fight Chisor. The spokesman informed WBN that Dubois would receive an order in the next few weeks.

“Yes, Derek Chisora is a mandatory pretender Daniel Dubois, but the obligatory fight will be ordered on 4/22 [April 22]”IBF spokesman said only World Boxing News.

“There is not enough time for the eliminator, because the obligatory Dubois is to appear on June 21,” they added.

Development is significant for Chisory, who has already announced that his 50th fight is his last. This means that Chisora will have a third shot in the landing of the heavyweight crown before she moves away from sport.

Chisora planned three more fights before retiring after defeating Gerald Washington in August 2023 at the O2 Arena in London. Clash Washington was made or a break in Finchley’s career after Tyson Fury gave him another significant beating in the third duel eight months earlier.

Since then, Chisora enjoyed the great renaissance of the fight. He defeated Joe Joyce before Otto Wallin in his last fight to put himself to face Dubois. The unanimous victory in the February decision on Wallin was the IBF eliminator and will attract a gap in Dubois vs. Chisora.

The “war” fought for the WBC belt twice before, once against Vitali Klitschko in 2012 and again opposite Fury in 2023 in the IBF heavyweight title this summer will be the first for a man who seems to be forever.

The most critical photo of the division will become clear after securing Dubois vs Chisora.

The contract means that Dubois will be beyond the commission to fall, leaving the uniform master Oleksandr Usyk to defend his belts against these world champion by WBO Joseph Parker.

Anthony Joshua’s injury means that these two competitions are practically imprisoned in stone. Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that Joshua would not be able to train for weeks, leaving London from running to a rematch with Dubois or a parker.

Promoters on both sides will confirm more at the right time, but for now it seems that Dubois vs. Chisora and Uyk vs Parker, before the two winners meet in the undisputed union later this year.

If Chisora defeated Dubois, probably at the Wembley stadium or in Riyadh, it is unlikely that he would disconnect his gloves, especially with four stripes from Usyk on the horizon.

It was a long 18-year career for Chisora, who once went through the nickname “del boy” when he went through the rankings.

From David Haye Fiasco, who ended with the break of Chisory in Upton Park, a few challenging to watch, there is never a tedious moment when Derek is nearby.

British boxing boxes are on the verge of losing one of their pillars of the last two decades in the summer. However, whether the 41-year-old will really be able to leave after another cracks in the world title will remain.
