Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – the fight in the weight of Daniel Dubois with Joseph Parker has doubts, because the British fights with an unknown disease, confirmed his promoter Frank Warren.

Ring Magazine submitted a message for the first time On Thursday evening. It was reported that Dubois was checked by a doctor, but the nature of the disease was not disclosed.

Then Warren confirmed at the Thursday press conference that Dubois was bad. A warrior born in London was not present at the conference.

“Daniel is evaluated by a doctor, and when we have more messages, we will share with you and update,” he said.

Parker replied to the messages saying that he was ready to fight regardless of the opponent.

“If he is ailing, I hope it will improve soon,” said Fresh Zelander. “I’m looking forward to Saturday and presenting a great program.”

The message appears after Floyd Schofield was forced to withdraw from his slight fight with Shakur Stevenson – also because of illness – on Wednesday.

Dubois was established for the first defense of the title since his dismantling Anthony Joshu in five rounds in September last year. The fight with the Parker was a co-main party on the card, which is the headline of Artur Beterbaver’s rematch with Dmitryjum Bivol on ponderous belts.

Beterbiev defeated Bivol because of the majority decision in October, passing on to the Russian first professional defeat.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-Joseph Parker weighed the most crucial 267 pounds in his career on Friday, while his novel opponent Martin Bakole was still on his way to Riyjad in Saudi Arabia.

Bakole was summoned to replace the heavyweight master IBF Daniel Dubois, who is unwell on Thursday.

33-year-old (21-1, 16 KO) still traveled to Saudi Arabia from his home in the Democratic Republic of Congo-Podról over 2000 miles-when Parker (35-3, 25 KO) Hit Skales.

Parker’s previous heavier weight was 255 pounds against Joe Joyce in 2022, which lost his fight.

Despite the dramatic return of events in the last 24 hours, Parker has been relaxed after weighing.

“I feel fine. Moving from one large impact to the next large blow. Although I am not fighting for the title of world champion, I can defend my transitional WBO belt for the first time, “said Parker.

“I am glad that I can be here, I am glad that I am still involved in this wonderful event and a great combat card. I’m looking forward to fighting Martin Bakole and for a good show. “

While the withdrawal of Dubois inhibits the chance to fight for the heavyweight title for Parker, the WBO transient title, which the Fresh Zealander has, will be on the line against Bakole.

Artur Beterbiev will face Dmitryjum Bivol in the undisputed slight rematch in heavyweight in the main event on Saturday evening.

Beterbiev, WBA, WBO, WBC and IBF Champion, weighed 175 pounds, while Bivol tilted the scales to 174.1 pounds.

The undisputed lightweight heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev and pretender Dmitry Bivol successfully weighed on Friday during weighing for their headliner Dazn PPV on Saturday, February 22 in Rijada, Saudi Arabia.

The former WBA Bivol (23-1, 12 KO) Master looked in great shape, but he still showed slight bruises under the left eye of tough blows he received from Beterbiev in the previous fight on October 12, four months ago.

During the meeting Beterbiev (21-0, 20 KO) he seemed larger and had a definite appearance for him, as if he was ready to chase Bivol to knock him out this time. Beterbiev came down from knee surgery in the first fight and did not start exerting pressure to the middle point.

Beterbiev dominated the last half of the fight, but many fans remember only the first part. They felt that Bivol won because of his quick start.

Weighing the results

– Artur Beterbiev: 175
– Dmitryry Bivol: 174.1

“I thought it was close, but I made a divided decision to Bivol. I thought he was really well boxed, but you couldn’t argue with Beterbaiew’s decision – said Terenka Crawford to Dazn Boxing, asked who he felt, he deserved to win the first fight between Artur Beterbave and Dmitry Bivol on October 12 last year in Riyjad.

“They both feel that they can make corrections in the second fight,” said Adeladipo. “What do you think, who has to make the most corrections to get in?”

“I think Bivol must make the most corrections, because later in the rounds he was a bit affected, even though he hit a little more. I think he has to do a little more to get a victory – said Crawford.

So who wins? Beterbiv-Bivol 2 forecasting

The first fight was long awaited. After longer expectations, fans could finally find out who was really the king of the lightweight heavyweight division – the strenuous impact of Artur Beterbaview or chess master Dmitra Bivol. The winner would not only remain invincible, but he left the ring as the undisputed world champion in bulky weight. Two men were so evenly matched that it was challenging to predict the winner before. Suffice it to say that the fight itself did not disappoint. The first four rounds witnessed an amazing Bivol skill set when Beterbiev persecuted his man in apparent in vain. Then the fight changed his runs.

Although he was able to maintain his high style of fighting with IQ, Bivol began to be hit by Beterbiv equipment. The fight remained close and intense. There was even a point where Beterbiev was able to briefly support his man. It was certainly a very close fight. Later, the decision of the majority in favor of Beterbaiew meant that Bivol appeared briefly – at least technically. Not everyone was impressed by the judge’s ruling. “Defense loses fights,” said the former world title and broadcaster Chris Algeri, indicating that the judges simply prefer aggressive defense fighters. Whether a man was right depends on the individual. What cannot be argued is the decision of the judges shouted “rematch”.

And now the rematch will fall on Saturday in Saudi Arabia. The main event of an incredibly arranged card, Beterbiv-Bivol 2 may, but do not have to decide once and for everyone who is better from the two future Hall of Fame fighters, but it promises to be an extremely compelling matter. There is a good chance that the second match will be very similar to the first – with several essential differences. For example, Beterbiev slowly began in the first fight. This time it can speed up the tempo to get valuable rounds.

On the other hand, Bivol will almost certainly focus on not being hit for the second time. The man had a great start in the first fight. If this time he could simply stop Beterbaview for the next round or two, he could really make a difference. Petting, it will be the battle of all. Every second will count. So who will win? Algeri may have been right – defensive fighters, as a rule, may not be considered aggressive treatment of fighters. In this case, on Saturday there is nothing that Bivol cannot do … except for the extremely challenging governing against him thanks to the almost legendary performance. And he can do it.

Judgment: Bivol based on a divided decision. Get ready at Beterbiv-Bivol 3.
