Ryan Garcia today practiced in the gym with his coach, Eddy Reynoso, showing the speed of his hand and a mighty left hook on the reflex bag. Garcia (24-1, 20 KO) is preparing for his stationary fight against Rolando Romero in May.

Garcia looks like he weighs in the 160s and is not fighting yet. His match against Rolly is to be in welterweight, so there is no much importance to lose to get to 147. Ryan’s left hook looks as powerful as always. Rolly (16-2, 13 KO) will have to be much more defensive in this fight than shown in his losing Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz last March 30, if he does not want to stop.

There were reports that Garcia vs. Romero will be on May 2 in Fresh York, but it has not been official. If this date persists, Ryan will end 13-month downtime from the last fight with Devin Haney on April 20. Garcia was suspended for a year by Fresh York State Athletic Commission for positive testing of PED.

Garcia’s fight with Rolly will prepare him for a rematch with Devin Haney in October. Turks Alalshikh begins this fight. Haney will be on the Ryan website in May with a balmy -up fight.

Ryan is no longer with coach Derrick James. He was replaced by Reynoso, but it’s not clear why. He coped well with James, but maybe being in Reynoso is better because of the location of training in southern California. In addition, Reynoso trains Canelo Alvarez and motivates Ryan to stay in Superglaws.

Perhaps it was the most hope for Fight in Boxing, an event of stars between two high British at the unquestionable heavyweight championship of the world. Unfortunately, this did not happen. At least it didn’t happen. For Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua they no longer occupy Zenith from heavyweight. Both men were defeated twice by the King of Division Oleksandr Usyk. No man will probably fight the utym again. In other words, the fight between Joshua and Fury will no longer answer the question of who is the best weighty weight on earth.

Despite this, there is a lot to like between matching these two super -fighters. First of all, these people were close to fighting a few years and nobody likes to answer the question of who a better warrior is. What’s more, the Battle of Joshua-Fury would be a huge agreement in England. It is straightforward to imagine nearly 100,000 people stuffed in a place like Wembley Stadium to see how the fight rides live. Undoubtedly, there would also be a lot of interest outside the Great Britain, including among American boxing fans. Every man can be on the side of his career, but it’s not like Joshua and Fury are only a shadow of their ancient themselves.

Fury, as most fans know, is retired. However, he was retired.
