Boxxer has announced a fresh BBC Sport broadcasting agreement, which means a significant change in the British boxing landscape after the last departure of the promotional outfit with Sky Sports in July.
In a world -class agreement, professionals will return to British land screens, thanks to which sport is more accessible than ever for fans across the country.
Saturday in the evening on the BBC
In the information provided to World Boxing News behind schedule on Thursday, the BBC confirmed that the boxing will return to Saturday night TV.
They added that the contract includes “broadcasts with the main events, selected fights with card, behind -the -scenes content and exclusive functions distributed in the full BBC digital offer, including BBC iplayer, website and BBC Sport application, BBC Sounds and BBC Sport Platforms.”
Boxxer will confirm the first full composition of Fight Night, Undercard details and a team presenting BBC Sport in the coming weeks.
The connection with the BBC takes place at the end of a raucous partnership with Sky Sports, which meant that in July a boxing stage in Great Britain. The fresh agreement with the National Broadcaster signals a fresh chapter for a promotional company, which aims to provide grave domestic fights for the widest audiences.

The BBC Sports Director Alex Kay-Jelski accepted the contract with satisfaction, stating: “Restoring professional boxing back to BBC TV first, free of charge, and to our extensive digital platforms is an thrilling moment for us and boxing fans.
“Boxing is a sport that, as we know, deeply resonates with younger recipients, and this agreement with Boxxer allows us to present the next generation of British fighters, providing national boxing moments for all recipients, wherever and as they want.”

Fresh generation
Partnership is the most vital movement to restore boxing to free television in recent years and can transform how the next generation of British fans consumes this sport.
The British stars who have now signed to Boxxer are Chris Eubank Jr., who will again face Conor Benn on November 15, as well as national artist Ben Whittaker.
Further names are Caroline Dubois, Natasha Jonas, Frazer Clarke, Callum Simpson and Chris Billam-Smith.
