Boxing results: Romero shakes Garcia, Haney and Lopez Win
Published

Boxing results from Times Square brought one unexpected event when Rolando Romero maintained his dominance over Ryan Garcia.
After the venerable sparring session, during which “Kingry” confessed to “Rolly”, he was the boss, their rivalry Garcia vs. Romero lasted in the same style.
Romero received the “ordinary” semi -editorial title WBA by a unanimous decision, abandoning a icy Garcia in the second round.
After repeatedly put Devin Haney on canvas in his last fight, Garcia did not seem alone. It was a different Garcia after Haney’s result was scratched from the album.
The Golden Boy star conducted a positive drug test for Ostaryna in Haney, which leads to questions about his skills since then.
Necessary, the couple debuted in a welterweight in the fight for the title, which sanctioned unprecedented.
On the evidence of the battle, Romero gained additional weight when he hit the ground, running with a sweet double left hook.
Garcia withdrew into the crust after knocking down when the fight set off in nothing in later rounds.
Judges twice cards 118-109 and 115-112 for Romero, who shot much more blows.
After the consequence of Romero, he discussed his best win in his career, because his record improved to 17-2, 13 KO. However, Romero was adamant Garcia, who should continue to face Haney in the scheduled second fight in October.
“They always lend a hand knocking down demanding,” he noted. “Ryan is a warrior. He got up and ended the fight. I am simply grateful for this occasion.
“I don’t even think about what will happen next. I think Devin and Ryan should get a rematch and do a gigantic one.”
Disappointed Garcia [now 24-2, 20 KOs] He broke away from 42nd Street, signing autographs for fans. Before leaving, he tried to summarize his performance.
“Rolly fought for a good fight,” he admitted. “He caught me early, without excuses. Congratulations to him. He did a great job and that’s all.”
For the annual suspension of the Up-to-date York Sports Sports Committee [from April 2024 to April 2025] Handed for drug failure, Garcia added: “I think that all year my body broke off a lot physically and mentally.
“I am grateful for the occasion. Hats to Rolly. I return to the drawing board, talk and see what we are doing next.”
Nemezis Garcia, Haney, played his role in the rematch when the unquestioned lithe master passed by Jose Ramirez.
Haney did what he does best and annul the work of his opponent with his stab. “Dream” never abandoned his plan when he won in the 144-pound hunter competition.
Star 32-0, 15 Kos bamboozbozozed Ramirez, despite the fact that both of them caught significant skin during the competition. Ramirez did not land for the majority, because Haney’s movement turned out to be too elusive.
The round after the round went to the bank for Haney, when he made a wide unanimous decision 119-109 twice and 118-110 on the results cards.

“I felt good in the fight, and the game plan I was working on definitely showed,” said Haney. “I handled him. He couldn’t do anything there.”
He added: “In the middle of the fight I started to feel really comfortable and got my time. I undressed him.”
In the third duel of the evening on the main Teofimo Lopez card, he began the motive for one -sidedness that night.
Lopez has retained his super lithe WBO title, taking the invincible record of Arnold Barbozy Jr.
One of the best performances in his career, Lomachenko, produced “taking over” when he traveled to twelve rounds of the triumph.
By improving his record to 22-1, 13 KO, Lopez proved that he is one of the best 140 pounds in the world, because he enjoyed almost complete dominance over the best pretender in Barboz.
Barboza drops to 32-1, 11 KO and must think about his next move. After defeating Jacek Cattell by a close decision in Great Britain, the rematch seems to be the best option.
Lopez won with a score of 118-110 and 116-112, returning twice from ring officials. Now he looks at the traffic up to 147 pounds.

“I told myself all week that everything was happening to me, not against me,” said Lopez. “I felt great. I felt reborn.”
In the further part, Lopez set his monuments at the IBF master and WBA WBA champion Jaron Ennis.
“I have been on this weight for some time. Now I will talk to my team and maybe I will move up.
“You know me. I’m going after hard challenges. I want to see” shoes “. I am an explorer and I want to see “shoes”.
Earlier in Up-to-date York, the Japanese perspective of Reito Tsutsumi won its professional debut by a unanimous decision over Levale Whittington.
The results read 60-54 twice and 58-56 after six rounds.
Starting the action, NYPD lost the duel “Battle for Badges” from FNDNY, when James Gennari reigned.

Oscar Collazo remained undefeated and won the WBO International flyweight title on Saturday night with a devastating two-round victory over Neider Valdez.
The unified WBA, WBO and Ring Magazine minimumweight champion improved to 15-0 with 12 knockouts after defeating Valdez three times before Mexico’s corner stopped the fight at 2:35 of the second round.
Making his final appearance at 112 pounds, Collazo showed his strength immediately transferred to the upper division, defeating Valdez from the opening bell at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.
The Puerto Rican striker repeatedly found a home for his left hand and left no doubt about the outcome before the fight was called off.
“I felt great at 112 pounds. I love this division. In fact, I want to stay here for a long time,” Collazo said.
Knockdowns
Collazo admitted that he had already called for the fight to be stopped.
“After the third knockdown I was basically saying, ‘Never again, never again’. It was the right decision for his safety. His corner was well checked.
The victory added another belt to Collazo’s collection and enhanced his growing reputation as one of boxing’s most invigorating champions in the lower weight division.
Looking ahead, Collazo has made it clear who he wants next.
“The fight with Ricardo Sandoval definitely interests me. I really want that fight. I’m ready for gigantic fights. I’m ready to make history. That’s the fight I want next.”
Sandoval currently holds the WBA flyweight title, making this one of the most attractive fights available if Collazo continues his climb in weight.
The event was broadcast live on DAZN and was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in partnership with Miguel Cotto Promotions.
