Dana White denied the last assurance of Turk Alalshikha for promoters that the novel boxing league could cooperate with other companies.
The UFC head gave a highly alternative vision, discussing his plans for the league, which was born last week at a press conference with the head of WWE Nick Khan, Alalshikha and White.
“I want to break the sport and build it from scratch,” said White Fight Hub TV. “My model is completely different. [have to play out]. [But] I want to break the sport and build it from scratch, just like us from UFC, so I’m on a different path.
White’s words appear only a few days after Alalshikh opened the space on social media and denied earlier comments, stating that he wants the novel company to “crush competition” from other promotions.
Whether he got lost in the translation was not returned, but Saudi Meatakier Arabia assured Eddie Hearna, Oscar de la Hoya and others that everyone is a place for everyone.
“This league is not against anyone,” said Alalshikh. “This is not against the commission and is not against promoters.
“This is a project on the market.
He added: “I understand what happened in the last week [everyone speaking out and wondering]. I understand panic on the market because there are many companies and many promoters.
“I want to say that we care about fans and fighters.
However, the mixed martial lawyer was not so affable when he asked him if he would work with Hearn and de la Hoya in the future.
“I don’t know how it is playing.
In addition, reports are common that TKO Group Holdings, a home company standing behind the TKO Boxing League, will organize its first event together with Canelo Alvarez vs Trystka Crawford in Las Vegas in September.
Alalshikh promised the announcement that would take place, but until Canelo defeated William Scull on May 3.
“We will not announce all the details before the third one [of May]. But it is a surprise who will be the promoter of this great fight [possibly White and TKO] and the platform [maybe Netflix] on which you will see a great fight, ”said Alalshikh.
