Iglesias vs Shishkin

World Boxing News completes the best boxing messages from the main promotional companies of July 11, 2025.

The eye of the Tiger is confirmed by Iglesias vs Shishkin, and Anthony Velazquez from Ces boxeria, who recently talked to World Boxing News, eyes about the huge 2026.

Iglesias vs shishkin

EOTTM will present the fight for an unprecedented size in Cabaret du Casino de Montréal on September 4. Oslyys “El Tornado” Iglesias, already IBO world champion, will face Russian pretender Vladimir in the IBF eliminator. This is a very expected start at the head of the event in Quebec and will be broadcast worldwide – from 18:30 – after hitting Grace.

“In my opinion, this is the most significant fight that has ever taken place at the casino. The super medium weight division is currently the most competitive in boxing, and we will have the two best IBF competitions in the ring, on our pitch, with a potential fight with” Canelo “Alvarez on the line. We draw a bar.

Currently, having the title of World Ibo, Oslyys Iglesias (13-0, 12 KO) has been wavy since the signing of the contract with EOTTM. Only in 2024 did he provide four knockout victories over Marcelo Cceres, Evgeny Shvedenko, Sena Agbeko and Petro Ivanov – all delivered in the dominant and even terrifying way. Having said that, he is not going to snail-paced down before the greatest fight in his career and against the most challenging opponent he met.

“Tornado is unstoppable. On September 4 I will be victorious, defend my title and I will become a compulsory pretender IBF. Step by step, belt at the belt, I will soon be at the top,” promises Oslyys Iglesias.

“Oslyys reminds everyone why he is the most avoided and afraid of the warrior in this sport. More importantly, he will once again prove that he is the best super medium weight in the world,” adds a powerful Cuban manager, Benedict Poelchau.

If Iglesias wants to prove that he is the best warrior in his division, he will have a golden opportunity to do it with one of the most recognized and unsafe contenders in the weight class. Vladimir Shishkin (16-1, 10 KO) won its first 16 professional fights with celebrated opponents, such as Mohammedi, Deandre Ware, Sena Agbeko and Jose Uzcatelui. His only loss of career occurred during his last exit, in October, when he abandoned the controversial decision for William Scull in the fight for the title of IBF master.

“Iglesias vs. Shishkin is a fight between the two best, but tactful talents in the division. Shishkin lost a slim decision about the razor, and I am proud that Salita Promotions was able to provide him with another main opportunity for him. With Camille and Eye of the Tiger – one of the most significant organizations in sport,” Promotions Dmitry Salita.

Also on the card two-time Olympian Dzmitrij Asanau (10-0, 4 KO) will defend his delicate title WBC Continental. Quebec perspectives Alexandre Gaumont (13-0, 9 KO) and Avery Martin Duval (13-0-1, 7 KO) will enter the ring for their first 10-round duels. The perspective of the year EOTTM 2024, Moreno Fendero (11-0, 9 KO), will enter the ring to the fourth planned 8-round fight 2025. The growing talents of Wyatt Sanford (3-0, 2 KO) and Erik Israylyan (2-0, 2 KO) will return in 6- and 4 rounds.

Tickets for the #IGLESSHISHKIN party, which takes place on September 4 at Casino de Montréal, are already on sale via Ticketmaster.

Anthony Velazquez

At the moment, the unbeaten younger average weight of Anthony “ATV” Velazquez (19-0-1, 14 KO) may be the best guarded secret of boxing, but the plan is that it has made a significant jump from a perspective to the Challenger title in 2026.

Fighting with Springfield, Massachusetts, 29-year-old Valezquez flew at the radar, never fighting the opponent evaluated in the world or presented himself at a tent party. His manager, Gunther Fishgold, prepared a scene at the breakthrough 2026 for his talented Puerto Rico-American Fighter.

The plan calls Velazquez, which is a promotional free agent, up to three times, from July 19 in Mohegan Sun, as well as twice in 2025 or in January, to establish it all over the world and fight at larger stages to the first quarter of 2026.

“I want to be the best and I’m going to prove myself,” noted Valezquez. “I am best kept in the secret of boxing, but everyone will find out who I am soon. I like this pace (fighting every 2-3 months), because I am always at the gym. Without holidays; only a gym and a house.

“This is my job and I work challenging to be pointed to my skills. I have a good job at our gym, because my trainer, Hector Bermudez, always has fighters from around the world. I often paired with (world-by-time Wytreight) Rohan Polanco (16-0, 10 Kos), Dominican Olympian, and I buzzed guests, and also super middleweight Steven Butven-36-1, 30 Kos) -bang (bang) -bang (bang) -bang (bang) -bang bang)-who was preparing for his fight (27 June, WKO4 vs. Jose de Jesus Macias).

“The work I get in the gym definitely helps me. It is good to fight various people because everyone has different styles.”

The Velazquez band was not in particular at any warrior, but a natural enemy is a colleague from Nowy English, Chordale “The Gift” Booker (23-2, 11 KO), from Stamford, Connecticut. Booker recently had his first world championship title, losing the challenge for Super Feltter weight, Sebastian Fund (21-1-1-1, 14 KO), in round 4.

One of the modern English on the list of Velazquez hits for 2026 is perhaps a welterweight Alexis “Lex” Rocha (25-2-1, 16 Kos), which is currently rated in the world.

Velazquez is at a training camp, preparing for its July 19 in the 8-round fight vs. Terry Chatwood (12-3-1) in Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, which is only 1.5 hours of driving from the Velazquez house in Springfield.

“I know that Chatwood likes to hurt in the back and is challenging,” said Velazquez, “but he doesn’t mind. I’m going to break it down and I will pull it out.

“I feel comfortable in the ring. My defense and confidence have improved. And I like to fight in Mohegan Sun because of his boxing history and how close Springfield is. This is like my second home (it will be his third fight).”

Anthony Velazquez is ready to move in 2026.

Oscar Collazo stands over Neider Valdez after scoring a knockdown during their flyweight bout in Oceanside, California

Oscar Collazo remained undefeated and won the WBO International flyweight title on Saturday night with a devastating two-round victory over Neider Valdez.

The unified WBA, WBO and Ring Magazine minimumweight champion improved to 15-0 with 12 knockouts after defeating Valdez three times before Mexico’s corner stopped the fight at 2:35 of the second round.

Making his final appearance at 112 pounds, Collazo showed his strength immediately transferred to the upper division, defeating Valdez from the opening bell at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.

The Puerto Rican striker repeatedly found a home for his left hand and left no doubt about the outcome before the fight was called off.

“I felt great at 112 pounds. I love this division. In fact, I want to stay here for a long time,” Collazo said.

Knockdowns

Collazo admitted that he had already called for the fight to be stopped.

“After the third knockdown I was basically saying, ‘Never again, never again’. It was the right decision for his safety. His corner was well checked.

Cris Esqueda | Golden Boy

The victory added another belt to Collazo’s collection and enhanced his growing reputation as one of boxing’s most invigorating champions in the lower weight division.

Looking ahead, Collazo has made it clear who he wants next.

“The fight with Ricardo Sandoval definitely interests me. I really want that fight. I’m ready for gigantic fights. I’m ready to make history. That’s the fight I want next.”

Sandoval currently holds the WBA flyweight title, making this one of the most attractive fights available if Collazo continues his climb in weight.

The event was broadcast live on DAZN and was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in partnership with Miguel Cotto Promotions.
