Canelo vs Berlanga pose

Edgar Berlanga hopes to continue his revival in the division to break the rematch of the motor title from Canelo Alvarez.

Speaking only with Worldboxingnews.com, Berlanga discussed his potential subsequent moves after landing a super -edged weight with Hamzah Sheeraz.

Puerto Ricout Artist will welcome Sheeraz in the division on July 12, after the unsuccessful British title in Middle Wweight.

When Sheeraz is not ready, Berlanga hopes to secure the battles against the most vital names in the 168 pounds league.

Berlanga took Canelo at a distance in September 2024, losing a unanimous decision at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The 27-year-old (23-1, 18 KO) believes that in the next few years he can earn a second chance against the Mexican Mexican Supergiazt.

He also wants to face Jaime Munguia and Caleb with a plant on the way to Canelo vs. Berlanga II regarding the undisputed crown of super medium weight.

“If I could map my next three fights, they would be against Jaime Mungía, the first, Caleb Resl, and Canelo Alvarez is third,” said Berlanga World Boxing News.

Mungia will be available later a year after he avenged his loss in Bruno Surace, Saudi Arabia. At the same time, the plant loudly in social media, mainly on Twitter, in the pursuit of Berlang.

It is no secret that Canelo is fighting Terenka Crawford during the Weekend of the Mexican Independence Day in Nevada in September, leaving Berlanga time for Munguia and I cut.

When asked about plant beef, Berlanga said: “He is looking for another great fight and a greater payment. He does not intend to earn money with any of these guys.

“I am the only guy he intends to earn, and is also on the way. He has already fought a few gigantic fights and impressed his trail in sport.

“I am the last guy he could face. He could leave with millions and go with his family in the west of the sun.”

After the second bite in Canelo, Berlanga came to the conclusion: “I think the rematch is here. People can call me crazy, but I caught Mungia and Caleb and knock them out.

“This fight will be there for sure. Everyone will call for this fight. I have to go out and do, shine like a superstar and have two great fights.

“I know that the fight will be for me. We need the title. It’s time to become a world champion, so if Canelo got it, we’re going.”

Berlanga built his knockout string in the first round in March against Jonathan Gonzalez-Ortiz. If he can do the same with Sheeraz, the sky is the border for the “chosen” gigantic blow.
