De la Hoya, Jake Paul equalizes the distance against the White dish

Oscar De La Hoya and Jake Paul

The attempt given to White and the TKO Group in order to change the Act on boxing reform Muhammad Ali, caused a violent slack, led by the Hall of Famer Oscar de la Hoya and repeated by Jake Paul.

De la Hoya, who has been promoting fights under Ali Act for over two decades, warned that this movement is a red flag for the whole sport.

“The Ali Act was introduced in 2000 in order to protect fighters by ensuring their financial transparency, the honesty of the contract and protection against conflicts of interest,” said De la Hoya.

Zero because of the amendment of the Ali Act

“I was a promoter for 24 years and I never wanted one change in Ali Act because I am about honesty and helping fighters. The fact that this is the first move they want to make in boxing tells you everything you need to know.”

The Ali Act, established to protect fighters from exploitation, was designed to prevent monopolistic practices. The mother company UFC, TKO, apparently lobbyes to change the file, preparing for deeper pushing for boxing.

De la Hoya quoted the last UFC antitrust settlement worth $ 375 million, resulting from fighters about wage damping and anti -competitive tactics, as proof that TKO’s achievements should apply to boxing.

“This is a huge warning from the red flag for the entire boxing community. Scumbags will always be noise. There is a reason to want to change the files of Muhammad Ali.”

Jake Paul: “Hubris is unreal.”

Jake Paul, who became both a warrior and a promoter as part of the protection of Ali Act, questioned the motives of TKO management.

“He bakes from these guys are unreal if you are their partner. First of all, they talk about boxing without risk and fees for fees from their partners who submit money.

“Now they say that PPV is dead when they have PPV with du plessis, and the second of Pereira, and the second of Aspinall.

“Every warrior in UFC now has a clear picture of what revenues are. PPV never justifies. Get your value, boys and girls.”

UFC

Nikisa Bidarian: “It’s great for a warrior’s salary.”

Co-founder of Paweł MVP, Nikis Bidarian, emphasized that Ali Act provides fighters with participation in revenues, as a result of the fall of Pay-Per-view, something that UFC fought.

“The less PPV, the better for consumers and fighters who actually move the needle. MVP has introduced the biggest non-PPV fight since the appearance of the cable with Paul vs. Tyson. But PPV is not dead at all.

“UFC has not created a real star in the USA since Conor McGregor.

What next with the Ali Act?

The battle for the future of Ali Act is not a compact problem. For over two decades, it has been the basis for the protection of fighters in boxing, ensuring that athletes know where money flows and preventing promoters from maintaining promotional and management.

De la Hoya believes that changing the law “would expose fighters” to the same monopolistic conditions with which UFC stars fought in court.

When the TKO group arouses boxing extension, Paul, Bidarians and De La Hoya signal that the most influential voices of this sport do not want to let Al Act fall off without a fight.
