Ituma vs Whyte on PPV? “Just cancel everything now!”
Published
9 months agoon
August 4, 2025 | Opinion Turks Alalshikh promised to kill the box pay-per-view, but not watering it, and without drawing him in mediocrity before they slowly choke their lives. NO. He said it would end it for good.
So why are we now asked to publish Moses Ituma vs Dillian Whyte on Pay-Per-View?
This opinion is not digging in Ituma. Newborn bulky weight is talented and certainly has potential. But at the head of the paid event against the well -worn Whyte, who did not look the same since Povetkin’s father and whose last few fights did not get much inspired, is not a revolution promised to boxing fans.
Revolution betrayed by a paid event
If it is a PPV standard in August 2025, cancel everything now.
When Turki declared war with the established PPV model and promised to kill it in November, the fans were really excited. Finally, we had a man with power and resources to pull the plug into a system that has been tearing faithful viewers for years.
He founded mega-Cards in Riyjad with arranged excites, elite duels and there is no 30 USD+ price at the end.
It was refreshing. It was necessary. It worked.
Is this standard for 2025 PPV?
But now? Now we expect that he will pay for Headliner Ituma and against Whyte.
Ask yourself: if you had no relationship with any of the warriors, would you part with demanding -earned cash? If the answer is not, it does not belong to PPV. It’s elementary.
Boxing does not need another PPV model, in which promoters sell unrepeatable fights as “injuries” or “modern generation tests”. Fans are too clever now.
Turki set the belt. Let’s not leave it so quickly.
PPV’s eradication cannot take place soon if ituma vs. Whyte is the PPV standard in 2025.

Tyson Fury undecided as Joshua starts warm-up fight
Published

April 30, 2026
Tyson Fury is considering whether to join Anthony Joshua in a warm-up fight as both fighters finalize plans for a British blockbuster.
Frank Warren told British media that Tyson Fury could fight again before his heavyweight clash with Joshua, which is scheduled to take place in the last quarter of 2026 in the UK.
Joshua, on the other hand, is already committed.
The former two-time champion will return on July 25 against Kristian Prengi. This fight has a clear purpose beyond mere actions.
After a devastating car crash in Nigeria last December that killed close friends Latz and Sina, Joshua’s decision to pull out under the lights gives him a chance to make sure he is 100 percent focused.
Following the announcement, Warren warned AJ about the interim fight, saying he “has to win this fight or it will kill the Fury fight.”
This warning alone highlights how diminutive the margin for error is today.
Furia’s decision
Fury’s situation is much different than his rival’s as the “Gypsy King” is back in the win column this year.
The former WBC champion fought back in April, defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov, and does not face the same need to re-enter the organization.
His position allows him to choose whether to remain lively or to engage immediately in a decisive battle without an intermediate step.
WBN understands that Fury is expected to decide on his next move in the coming days, with plans for the UK showdown already being made behind the scenes.
That decision now shapes what happens next as the timeline begins to split between one fighter already on the move and another still considering his options.
Joshua has already made his move. Fury failed to do so, leaving the London meeting still to be finalized.
Fury vs Joshua debate
Whatever the case, and regardless of what is happening in the Fury camp, the decision to extend construction towards the long-awaited clash has already sparked debate.
Theoretically, two off-the-top heavyweights should be able to step into the ring right away without any additional complications.
If Fury does get sizzling, it will likely be a reflection of Joshua’s level rather than intent – a controlled fight against a circumscribed opponent – which again raises the same question about the entire process.
What exactly can be gained beyond the mighty dollar, and one mistake can cost both tens of millions in your pocket and potentially the fight itself.

In his last fight last November, Benavidez defended the WBC lithe heavyweight championship, defeating Anthony Yarde in the 7th round. This will be his first cruiserweight fight and it will be the biggest jump you can make in terms of maximum weight limits – 25 pounds between the 175-pound lithe heavyweight limit and the 200-pound cruiserweight limit.
For Ramirez, his last fight came last June when he won a 12-round unanimous decision over Yuniel Dorticos to defend his unified cruiserweight title. Since moving up to cruiserweight, Ramirez is on a four-fight winning streak. The only defeat of his professional career came at 175 against reigning lithe heavyweight king Dmitry Bivol.
Who will win the upcoming cruiserweight championship clash between David Benavidez and Gilberto Ramirez?
This release Rummy Corner will try to answer this question and give you a quick preview of the fight.
May is another month on DAZN. On May 2, the same day that Benavidez will face Zurdo, there will be a huge fight between undefeated Japanese fighters Junto Nakatani and the undisputed king of the junior featherweight division, the one and only Naoya Inoue.

Terence Crawford says he would end his rival’s career if he argued: ‘He can’t tie my shoes’

Terence Crawford has responded to criticism leveled at him since his retirement.
The five-weight world champion hung up his gloves at the end of last year following an impressive victory over Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, leaving the sport undefeated and with a record-breaking legacy.
Although most people praised the timing of his decision to retire, some believe that “Bud” should have stayed with the team to prove himself against the novel generation, namely Jaron Ennis.
In a series of social media posts, Crawford appeared to refer to an interview with “Boots” Ennis in which the 28-year-old claimed that if the fight did happen, he would be confident of winning by knockout.
He posted to say this.

Crawford added that he “waived or rejected” the challenge. While he suggested it wasn’t directed at Ennis, he quickly added that the rising star’s career “would be over” if he fought.
“How did you get Boots out of what I just said? It’s crazy how you all play like you like him but want me [to] end your career before it starts, because that would definitely happen.
lol how did you get Boots out of what I just said?🤣🤣🤣 it’s crazy how you all play the way you like him but you wanted me to end his career before it started because that would definitely have happened.🤣🤣 smh, let me tell you something else.

The undisputed three-weight champion then said Ennis couldn’t tie his shoes.

“Boots” won the IBF interim welterweight title around the same time that Crawford was becoming the undisputed leader of the division by defeating Errol Spence. He was later promoted to full champion when “Bud” increased in weight.
With fighting no longer an option, Ennis is now focused on creating his own legacy in the sport. In June, he has a chance to become a unified two-division world champion when he faces Xander Zayas for the Puerto Rican’s WBO and WBA super welterweight belts. This is a fight that “Bud” is supporting “Boots” to win.
