At a press conference, the warriors said:

Nayya Inoue

“The last twice I was here, it was during a pandemic and I had to train properly. But this time I fight T-Mobile and it will be the biggest difference.”

“I am very motivated to fight in front of an American crowd in a huge arena, but because it is Cinco de Mayo at the weekend, I think I’m playing away. So I don’t know what to expect.”

“The perfect situation is to show American fans of my boxing and win with a knockout. But above all I want people to see something that they could not see in the USA”

“Cardenas is a very well -rounded warrior. And I think it’s a good platform to show my boxing skills.”

Ramon Cardenas

“I remember watching 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the Oscar de la Hoya-Floyd Mayweather. I remember how I watched them and I wanted to be here. And now I am here. The fight for the title of master is one thing, but the fight for the unquestionable title is something more than I could ask. It makes me more hungry. It makes me more.”

“I know it will be a tough fight. I know that Inoue is a great pound for pounds. But I’m ready for it. I am ready for the most tough fight in my career. I imagine that this is a tough fight, but I imagine that I go out there, I do my own and show the world who I am.”

“I have to finish this mission. I lost my uncle.

Rafael espinosis

“This is another opportunity in my career. I think that in every fight I showed that I want to be better every time. This is not an exception. It was one of the best camps I’ve ever had. I feel great physically and mentally, so you can expect the best than me.”

“In the first fight with Ramirez I knew that no one knew what I was capable of. And I still did not show what I was capable, both in terms of boxing and heart skills. I showed a bit, but I still have a lot to show. He is a great warrior, so it’s a great opportunity to show what I am created.”

“This is a great opportunity. I always wanted to fight in these dates and I always wanted to fight here. And now I do it. It gives me motivation to wake up every day and give it 1000%because I make my dreams come true.”

Edward Vazquez

“This is won by violence. Complete versatile violence. That’s why I am here. I am here to hurt him and take the belt home with you to Texas.”

“In the case of sparrings, we arrived several guys who have 126 and 130 pounds. But mostly we used guys who have 147 and 154, and what I expect to be in Fight Night, so it succeeds.”

“I was one of the best amateurs weighing 145 pounds. I’ve always been a smaller guy, but I always fought with guys who had 6’1” or 6’2. “I traveled around the country, fighting with such guys. If you know me, I get in with anyone in the ring.

Rohan Polanco

“This is a Mexican date, so I want to tell Fabian Maidan to make sure he comes to fight. Let’s give people a great fight to people.”

“I always come to deliver a great program, as you all saw in my recent fights. It will not be an exception. I come to fight. I come to get a victory. And I will come to represent my country.”

Emiliano Fernando Vargas

“Fight the fight, we’ll get there. This Sunday will be the Super Bowl event. I know that we are usually fighting on Saturdays, but this time on Sunday. I just can’t wait. I know it’s ready. I’m just a pound. I’m in the best shape. If they thought my last performance was great, I will stand out last.”

“Every warrior has the opportunity to get a name. This is their goal and this is my goal too. For my dreams to happen, I have to crush him. I know that he is ready. I know that it will be a tough fight. I know that every fight will be a fight.”

Juan Leon

“It’s a dream come true. It’s amazing. I want to thank God. I also want to thank my promoter. So I’m inspired to come here and give everything.”

After receiving the offer of the fight against Vargas

“At first I didn’t believe it. I thought it was a joke. But then I saw it was true. I am full of inspiration to give everything.”

Art Barrera Jr.

“I was busy. I just fought three or four weeks ago. This is of course a larger card, a bigger opportunity, so it’s definitely a great opportunity to show my skills.”

Raeese aleem

“I am excited about the fight. Every time I enter the ring, I bring it. For some reason I deserved the nickname” Beast “. Swift hands, brisk feet, explosive … I’m a fun warrior. “

About a potential fight against Espinosis

“I tried to fight the” tree “. I tried to knock down this tree.

Oscar Collazo stands over Neider Valdez after scoring a knockdown during their flyweight bout in Oceanside, California

Oscar Collazo remained undefeated and won the WBO International flyweight title on Saturday night with a devastating two-round victory over Neider Valdez.

The unified WBA, WBO and Ring Magazine minimumweight champion improved to 15-0 with 12 knockouts after defeating Valdez three times before Mexico’s corner stopped the fight at 2:35 of the second round.

Making his final appearance at 112 pounds, Collazo showed his strength immediately transferred to the upper division, defeating Valdez from the opening bell at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.

The Puerto Rican striker repeatedly found a home for his left hand and left no doubt about the outcome before the fight was called off.

“I felt great at 112 pounds. I love this division. In fact, I want to stay here for a long time,” Collazo said.

Knockdowns

Collazo admitted that he had already called for the fight to be stopped.

“After the third knockdown I was basically saying, ‘Never again, never again’. It was the right decision for his safety. His corner was well checked.

Cris Esqueda | Golden Boy

The victory added another belt to Collazo’s collection and enhanced his growing reputation as one of boxing’s most invigorating champions in the lower weight division.

Looking ahead, Collazo has made it clear who he wants next.

“The fight with Ricardo Sandoval definitely interests me. I really want that fight. I’m ready for gigantic fights. I’m ready to make history. That’s the fight I want next.”

Sandoval currently holds the WBA flyweight title, making this one of the most attractive fights available if Collazo continues his climb in weight.

The event was broadcast live on DAZN and was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in partnership with Miguel Cotto Promotions.
