World Boxing Membership grows after 100 after the board adds 17

World Boxing currently has over 100 national federations as members after its management approved 17 more applications on Thursday to enhance the list to 106.

World box, founded in 2023 in connection with the fears of the management of the International Boxing Association (IBA), received transient recognition by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in February and conducts boxing competitions at the Olympic Games in 2028.

At the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, boxing was run by the IOC after IBA was deprived of recognition after the lack of implementation of reforms regarding management and finance.

Boxing was included in the IGRZMPIAN program in Los Angeles 2028 in March after a unanimous vote with the IOC, ending years of doubt as to the future of Olympic sport.

The latest national federations joining world boxing are those from Cuba and Ireland – two of the most successful countries in Olympic boxing – along with Spain, Mexico, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

“This means that (with the exception of Russia and the Soviet Union) world boxing membership now includes 10 most successful countries of all time in Olympic boxing and 10 of the 11 best countries won in Paris 2024,” – said World Boxing in a statement.

World Boxing has the host of the inaugural world championships in Liverpool in September.

Morrella’s return: Khataev is waiting in the fight against the applicable win

Image: Morrell's Comeback: Khataev Awaits in Must-Win Fight

David Morrell will want to reflect from his last defeat, taking part in Imam Khataeva in the clash of two artists with a knockout in a 10-round fight between delicate pretenders to ponderous weight on July 12 in Dazn PPV at Queens in Up-to-date York.

Why Morrell needs this win

This is a fight that Morrell must win to have a chance to win the title of world champion. If he loses to Khataev, he may have to go back to 168.

27-year-old Morrell must recover the shoot after losing to David Benavidez by a competitive 12-round unanimous decision on February 1. It was one that Morrell could win, but he waited too long to start attacking Benavidez to later rounds.

Until then, he was too far behind to make up for the lost ground. When Morrell showed that he could hurt the “Mexican monster.” He moved Benavidez’s face, leaving her like a mask for Halloween.

Khataeva pressure: main threat

Morrell will have to fight much better against Imam Khataev, because he is a stronger blow than Benavidez, exerts the same pressure and throws bats. If Morrell stands before Khataev, he will be eliminated.

Morrell (11-1, 9 KO) transfers its ratio 82% KO to the Ring against the Olympic Bronze 2020 Khataev (10-0, 9 KO) to Edgar Berlanga vs. Hamzah Sheeraz.

Some fans believe that Morrell-Khataev is a fight that promises more action than the main event of Berlanga-Sheeraz, because these two resemble novices more than competition. None of them had excellent amateur careers, such as Morrell and Khataev.

This fight is better on paper than the main event, and especially the main support between Shakur Stevenson and William Zeda. This is a good fight, but it is expected to be a romance like “Tom and Jerry”. Turks Alalshikh may regret using Shakur for this event. Morrell-Khataev is two knockout artists who will fight him, throwing bombs the whole fight. There will be no run.

Khataev: Next Artur Beterbiev?

Khataev is already seen as Next Artur BeterbievGiven his impact power, strength inside and without interruption. He completed 90% of his opponents, looking at Beterbaview with the relentless pressure he exerts on his opponents. The Khataeva manager perceives the 18-meter ring for the fight as a aid because he is a “guy of pressure”.

This is the first step to the four -year Australian Khataev as a professional, and it will be fascinating to see what he can do with the former world champion in two Morrell resolutions.

The last talented opponent, Khataev, was a two -time Golden Cuban Olympic medalist Arlen Lopez in 2023, which he defeated the majority of the majority. This victory showed the ability that Khataev has, because he is a guy who had unique amateur certificates.

Gary Antuanne Russell expresses disappointment when Richardson Hitchins avoids unification

Gary Antuanne Russell, the WBA Lightweight Welteight champion, today expressed disappointment that the IBF Richardson Hitchins champion did not show interest in fighting him in unification after defeating Veteran George Cambosos Jr. last Saturday evening. Russell pointed out that he defeated Hitchins four times in amateurs and had a title in his weight class, but he did not show any interest in fighting him.

Turki Alalshikh would have a solid sport if the next fight between Antuanne Russell and Richardson Hitchins. It would take a while. We would see what is it, whether Hitchins is real or bogus.

Hitchins: Business Over Legacy

The answer is obvious. Hitchins (20-0, 8 KO) is not interested in heritage. His career concerns business, which is why he ignored his compulsory opponent No. 1, Subriel Matias and decided to fight Cambosos Jr. last Saturday. Australian has entered the fight with the record of 2-3 in the last five fights, and one of these victories was a very doubtful decision about Maxi Hughes.

The choice of Cambosos has shown that Hitchins focuses on the fight against money and wants to make sure that he will not be beaten. Russell would be incensed with Hitchin. It can hit, be robust and overwhelms Hitchins with his power.

Hitchins mentioned the desire to fight the pretender to the welterweight of Devin Haney and the master WBO Teofimo Lopez, but not Russell (18-1, 17 kos) last Saturday evening after throwing over the overcrowded elderly Cambrian in the eighth round in an unconscious fight in Madison Square Garden in Modern York.

Modern money in boxing

Hitchins is now a up-to-date kind of fighters in sport. They don’t focus on fighting the best. They just go after some fights or are looking for payments against fighters who have already arrived.

Promoter Eddie Hearn helped Hitchins in this place, setting him on a supple touch Cambosos. Thanks for getting, Hitchins announces that his contract is in the match last Saturday, and now he is a promotional free agent. He hopes for more green pastures with someone. However, it will not be Turk Alalshikh.

“When Hitchins stopped him, it was pure pain. He ached. He hit him with the first body and his face changed. The whole fight changed from there,” said coach Greg Hackett on Tbise About the victory of Ricyardson Hitchins over veteran George Cambosos last Saturday.

Although Hitchins looked into the ring last Saturday, it is not surprising that he was hurt by much smaller Cambosos. It looked like a fight between a welterweight and a tiny tiny weight. Hitchins can somehow gain 140 pounds on the weight of the ward. But he should fight at the age of 147. He has no strength to fight in the welterweight. It is understandable why he kills to stay in a lightweight welterweight as long as possible.

Hitchins’ size at 140

“Hitchins was already at the forefront, but at that moment you could see that he was ready to cause damage,” said Hackett. “With its size [at 140]You can do it to the boys. Fight 5’10 1/2 ″ at the age of 140. He is one of the giants aged 140. The kind of punishment that he can impose on guys if he believes in himself. “

Hitchins can overwhelm smaller fighters such as Cambosos, but his chances of doing this against the elite in 140 are tiny. Place him against Russelle, Matias, Keyshawn Davis and Ernesto Mercado, and he will probably be unveiled. This may be the reason why he did not want to fight with any of them. He looked good against Cambosos, but almost everyone would. The last opponent of Cambosos, the little -known Australian national warrior, Jake Wylie, gave him attacks.

“I think a fight is a great fight,” Greg said about the fight between Hitchins and Devin Haney. “None of them is known as a great puncher. They are both boxers. They both have a good height and long shoulders, but the mentality of two thinkers. That night they will be fighters. Get to the point where they will realize:” I can’t think about it now. “

Great fighters are scarce when they are still in a perfect career. Four great fighters met in two matches. The only thing was that they were both masters, not in the best shape.

Future World Heavyweight Champion Rocky “The Brockton Blockbuster” Marciano had 37-0 when he met Joe “Brown Bomber” Louis, 66-2 with 52 downtime in October 1951 at Madison Square Garden. Louis lost the title with the former master Ezzzard “The Cincinnati Cobra” Charles, 66-5-1, at the Yankee stadium in Up-to-date York, in September 1950 his record was still good, but not quite a warrior he was once. He won eight fights since losing for the second time in his career. There was no title at the stake.

After seven rounds, Marciano overtook cards 4-2, 5-2 and 4-3. In the eighth round he dropped Louis with his left hook on the 8th Hold from Judge Rudy Goldstein. Then Marciano sent Louis through the ropes to the knockout. There was no number; The fight is over.

Marciano adored Louis, and in the cloakroom he dropped tears. Louis never fights again.

Five fights later Marciano won the title of world champion, rejecting “Jersey” Joe Walcott, 49-18-1, in the thirteenth round. Walcott was overtaken after twelve rounds 7-4, 4-8 and 7-5.

One of the stabils of Marciano, Hank Cisco went to the Walcott wardrobe and heard the ring doctor said: “This man should never fight again. He has a broken bone under the eye and he would be knocked out the first solid blow. Tob had a walcott and put it in a rematch eight months later, probably with money on Marciano. In 2:25 Marciano he married a walcott. in the first round.

Marciano ended his career from the canvas in the second round with the lightweight heavyweight champion of Archie “Aged Mongoose” Moore, 149-19-8, who was a knockout king. Marciano fired four knocking down, stopping Moore in the ninth round, ending his career 49-0 with 43 stops. The record reached sixty -two years before Floyd Mayweather, Jr. He detained Conor McGregor, who made his debut professionally without amateur experience and was a former MMA master.

The next match was probably the two biggest pound fighters for pounds of all time. Former world champion with three divisions Henry “Hank Hank” Armstrong, 132-17-8, lost to the future champion of “Sugar” by Ray Robinson, 44-1, in Madison Square Garden according to a decade. He was a former champion for ten years.

Armstrong would fight for the next six years, passing 17-2-1, then lost his last duel in February 1945, ending the record of 149-21-10 with 99 stop.

Three years later, Robinson won the global welterweight and then the title of medium weight. Before points, he could not continue due to heat outside 104 degrees at the Yankee stadium in Up-to-date York in June 1952 against heavyweight master Joey Maxim, 78-18-4. Robinson was on the cards at 10-8, 9-8-1 and 7-3-3 at that time. Judge Rudy Goldstein was replaced in the tenth round due to heat.

Robinson will lose its medium weight title in 1957 to Gene Fullmer, 37-3, in Madison Square Garden. He will end his career in 1965, losing to Joey Archer, 44-1, ending with the record 174-19-1.
