Marco “El Tiburon” Romero (9-0, 8 Kos) is preparing for her first professional fight at home in Olathe, Kansas, September 6. His live manager and trainer, John Brown, advised Romero to observe the future Hall of Famer Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 Kos) as a perfect example for his development.

Usyk, a proud Ukrainian who won the gold medal for his country in the Olympic Games in 2012 in London, was the undisputed champion of the world circuit scale, before he approached the duplication of this feat, not once, but twice, as weighty.
“Usyk is a good example for Marco,” explained Brown. “I have to watch him movies from Usyk. He is such an impressive guy, so beyond him, and that’s why I push Marco in his direction. I am a massive fan of Tyson Fury, but I try to instill the features of Usyk in Marco as a warrior because of the burst of Usyk and Will, the best conditions and boxing of knowledge and boxing successful in this sport, as well.
“Until recently, I never really paid attention to Usyk,” added Romero. “It is definitely one of a kind. His movement, leg work and heavyweight production are crazy, especially since it is not in the vast side in the heavyweight department. Usyk is a beast!”
“Homecoming” is a fundraiser for the Turner Boxing Academy. The main sponsor of this event is the McCarthy Auto Group, and some of the income will be transferred to Safe and sound Kids Johnson County.

This fight will also designate Romero’s debut as an average weight in which he shifts one division with the Super Middle Wweight, in which he competed from losing a professional.
The invincible Topeka (KS), John “Iron Man” Cantrell (14-0, 13 KO), will face Portland “The Prince” Prince (5-5, 1 KO), which comes from Lexington in Kentucky, in an 8-round co-creative event.
