Former Master WBO WBO Cruiser in weight, Lawrence Okolie, poured icy water on the idea of Jake Paul fighting with Anthony Joshua, marked a potential attack both unreal and threatening.
Heavyweight supporter, okolie, the owner of the titles of the Master of Two Weights, after conquering the WBC Bridger Crown, warned that the size and power of Joshua make such a clash a grave health problem if he were to materialize.
Fears of Paweł’s safety against Joshua
“I don’t see it to be happening,” said TalkSport. “As someone who was a united world champion in hefty weight, he is not going well against Jake Paul.
“I also speak from a health and safety factor.”
While Paweł was irritating with the fighting in various divisions, including his last campaign towards the title of circuitous weight master, Okolie pointed to a huge physical and technical difference between youtuber Container and the elite, former heavyweight, such as Joshua.
“He [Jake Paul] Perhaps it is a cruiser’s weight, and Anthony Joshua is a very huge, sturdy hefty weight – Okolie explained. “And if it turns it on, this is not just a risk of knockout, this is a much greater risk.”
Despite the rejection of the fight as unbelievable, Okolie admitted that the idea caused curiosity, if not care.
“I don’t see it personally, but it’s probably a good point to talk.”
Fantasy vs. Sanctioned fight: unlikely fight
Paul has recently taken the 15 best by WBA in the Cruiser weight division and implements the title of champion in 2025.
Meanwhile, Joshua should come back this winter after the elbow surgery. Doubts about the number of British fights in his cabinet mean that Paul Walka is very unlikely until Joshua retires with professional boxing.
But when it comes to okolie, every fantasy fight Joshua vs. Paul belongs to the field of speculation in social media, not as a sanctioned fight.
