Boxing fans again suffer as two superstaries of this sport, they did not sign on a dotted line for the third and last meeting.
Artur Beterbiev and Dmitriry Bivol will go their separate roads, despite the fact that they both do not become younger after two significant wars.
Both fights, the first won by Beterbaview in October 2024, and the second identically by Bivol in the rematch in February last year, were rivals in the fight with the year. And despite the involvement of Turk Alalshikha in two battles, it seems that Saudi superpower of the matchmaker failed.
Known for the fight that sport needs, Alalshikh is not able to restore the pair in the ring to complete the trilogy.
Beterbiev’s frustration
Since then, Beterbiev has attacked Dmitry Bivol for withdrawing from the planned duel of the trilogy, confirming that he would return to action on November 22 in Riyjada, Saudi Arabia.
The unified master of hefty weight, corresponded to his frustration in a direct statement after Bivol did not get involved, despite what Beterbaiew described as “almost impossible to refuse.”
“Our next fight was to take place in Russia. You know what we are talking about now. The third fight with Bivol,” said Beterbiev.
“We were offered great conditions that were almost impossible to refuse. On my part I did everything to do the third fight, but my opponent again chose the isolation path.”
The 40-year-old Puncher added: “I waited long enough and I do not intend to wait any longer. Sitting and without doing anything while someone else is resting, it’s too much.
“See you on November 22 in Riyadh. I continue my journey, no matter what.”
The trilogy is falling
Beterbiev and Bivol planned to replace the blows in their hometown Russia, potentially at the beginning of 2026, after a break. However, the latest Beterbiv comments suggest that the talks may have been falling for good.
Bivol has not yet reacted to global boxing messages, looking for an update, although the pressure results from three stripes, a heavyweight owner to explain his position.
Meanwhile, Beterbiev will now face Deon Nicholson in Saudi Arabia to remain dynamic, while the long -awaited Bivol stretches.
In the disappointing phrases of the entire saga, Beterbiev shares the act with David Benavidez, and Alalshikhh of their defect, despite the possibility of making another eye -catching competition.
Because Beterbiev is preparing to return in 2025, Bivol has not yet emerged from the shadows.
