Ailin Perez attacks Norma Dumont with X-rated message after UFC Vegas 121 controversy

UFC bantamweights Ailin Perez and Norma Dumont remain at odds after their controversial fight at UFC Vegas 121.

After a heated buildup ahead of UFC Vegas 121, bantamweight star Ailin Perez defeated Norma Dumont by unanimous decision at the Apex last weekend. Perez has now won seven consecutive fights since dropping her UFC debut in September 2022.

But many believed Perez didn't deserve the nod over Dumont, despite Perez's control time and superior grappling. Dumont looked visibly shocked by the official decision, and nearly got into a post-fight altercation with Perez inside the Octagon.

Tensions between Perez and Dumont didn't de-escalate following UFC Vegas 121, as the two bantamweights traded shots on social media.

In a recent Instagram story post, Perez jabbed Dumont after their fight.

“Thanks for the condoms Norma,†Perez said in a message to Dumont.

“But I did not need to use them to f— you. #SoSorryâ€

Perez's comments came after Dumont took to social media to issue her first comments since the controversial defeat.

“I was going at it with her, trading blows and talking trash the whole time,†Dumont said of her loss to Perez.

“She was desperate. She didn't have a prayer against me. I'm at peace and fully confident that I won. There's not a shadow of a doubt. She knows it too; that's why she was so desperate. Honestly, considering the absurd things I've seen in MMA regarding results, I didn't think it would go my way.†(h/t MMA Junkie)

Dumont returned at UFC Vegas 121 looking to bounce back from a loss to Joselyne Edwards in April. Meanwhile, Perez continues to march up the bantamweight rankings with recent wins over Macy Chiasson and Karol Rosa.

Paul Felder: ‘I thought he had a heart attack’ at UFC Vegas 121
Paul
Felder has witnessed several shocking moments during his years
working
Ultimate Fighting Championship events, but Raoni
Barcelos' collapse at
UFC Vegas 121 left him particularly shaken.

Felder was on commentary duty at Meta Apex in Las Vegas for the
latest Fight Night. The main event, which was a back-and-forth
battle, ended in frightening fashion as Barcelos appeared to go
limp during a wrestling exchange against the Octagon wall in the
final round. The referee immediately stopped the contest, and
Barcelos was removed from the Octagon on a stretcher and
transported to a hospital.

It was later confirmed that Barcelos was conscious and responsive.
For Felder, the moments after the finish remain unforgettable.

Paul Felder revisits Raoni Barcelos' collapse at UFC Vegas 121:
‘I thought he had a heart attack'

Speaking on the “Believe You Me†podcast, Felder recalled his
immediate reaction while watching the medical team attend to
Barcelos. The former fighter was alarmed when he saw a doctor check
Barcelos' pulse, something he said he had never witnessed in
similar circumstances.

“His neck was all clinched up and he was unconscious,†Felder said.
“And it looked like he was — I thought he had a heart attack, off
the bat. Then they came in, and they checked his pulse, which was
terrifying to see. I have never seen somebody that was KO'd, where
they come in and the first thing they did, the doctor put his
fingers right on Raoni's pulse. I was like, ‘Oh, this is really
bad.â€

Felder said the uncertainty continued as Barcelos remained
motionless.

“He was just not getting up and then I'm thinking, ‘Is it a stroke?
Is it a heart attack?'†Felder added. “But if they weren't doing
CPR and his pulse was at least there and present and he's
breathing, probably not a heart attack.â€

Barcelos reportedly remains under medical supervision but has
addressed fans on social media, assuring them that he is doing
well.

Josh Hokit accuses Tom Aspinall of faking eye injury to leave UFC
Josh
Hokit isn't buying Tom
Aspinall's claims regarding his eye issues.

Aspinall hasn't fought since his
Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight title defense
against Ciryl Gane
ended in a no contest in October 2025. The Englishman was unable to
continue after Gane poked him in both eyes in the first round.
Aspinall recently vacated the title amid further issues with his
right eye. Hokit, however, claims the former champ is faking his
injury in an attempt to leave the UFC.

Josh Hokit claims Tom Aspinall is exaggerating his eye injury
to get out of his UFC contract

Hokit claims Aspinall is exaggerating the seriousness of his eye
injury. The undefeated American suggested that Aspinall is looking
for a way out of his UFC contract and speculated that he could be
pursuing a lucrative move to boxing instead.

“Honestly, I don't even think that sh*t's real,†Hokit told Ariel
Helwani. “I think he has his teammates farting on his pillow, then
he goes to sleep, gets pink eye, posts that shit on Instagram like,
‘Hey, everybody, feel bad for me. I can't fight still.' He has fake
surgery, all that other sh*t. I think he's just trying to get out
of his deal, if I'm being 100% honest… That sh*t is all fake, gang.
It's not real. I don't know if he's paying doctors, but I think
he's trying to get that bag in boxing.â€

Meanwhile, Gane (14-2) has been promoted to undisputed champion
after Aspinall vacated the title. The Frenchman is scheduled to
defend his title against Hokit (9-0) at UFC
334 on Nov. 14 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
