ONE Championship

Ryuya Okuwaki meets Chokdee Maxjandee in an atomweight Muay Thai showdown at ONE SAMURAI 3, streaming live from Yokohama Buntai in Yokohama, Japan, on Saturday, September 12. The four-time Muay Thai World Champion gets a chance to move to 4-0 inside ONE Championship on home turf, carrying an eight-fight winning streak built on speed and surgical shot selection.

Since his promotional debut in August 2025, Okuwaki has finished two of his three ONE wins, opening with a second-round head kick knockout of Nueaphet Kelasport before a clean decision over Pet Suanluangrodyok and a body-shot stoppage of Hern Looksuan. Even before signing with ONE, that same finishing instinct produced a highlight-reel win over Rifdean Masdor, who now challenges Nadaka for the atomweight Muay Thai title at ONE SAMURAI 4 in October.

Chokdee brings power of his own to ONE SAMURAI 3 in Yokohama

Chokdee, 28, has matched that fan-friendly reputation with three knockouts across five ONE wins, most recently a highlight-reel finish of Mahesuan Aekmuangnon at ONE Friday Fights 141. The Sor Sommai and Wor Wiwatthananon affiliate carries a 63-21 record built on the Thai regional circuit and has never been one to back away from trading.

Beyond bragging rights, a statement win for either man could position him as the next challenger in line for a shot at Nadaka's atomweight Muay Thai crown.

The pairing joins an already loaded ONE SAMURAI 3 card in Yokohama, one that also features reigning champion Nadaka, former ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Yuya Wakamatsu, Hyu, and Shimon Yoshinari, giving fight fans in Japan a night stacked with legitimate title implications across multiple divisions.

The Punch Junkie™ News

Alexander Volkanovski faces an undefeated challenger, and Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili settle their epic trilogy at UFC 333 this Saturday.

In the main event, Volkanovski puts his featherweight title on the line once again as he takes on Movsar Evloev, who has had his hand raised in all 10 of his UFC appearances and holds wins over Lerone Murphy, Aljamain Sterling, Arnold Allen, and Diego Lopes. At 38, Volkanovski is closer to the end of his career than the beginning, but can he muster up another classic performance to deny the hungry Evloev?

The stakes are just as high in the co-main event, which sees Yan and Dvalishvili face off for a third time with both men owning a definitive victory in their series. Dvalishvili defeated Yan in a three-round bout in 2023, handing Yan a third straight loss and seemingly removing him from the title picture for good; however, Yan bounced back and ended Dvalishvili's bantamweight championship run this past December with a virtuoso five-round performance. Now, the battle again, with a belt and possibly all-time great status on the line.
