Conor McGregor didn't want to fight at UFC 329, says Din Thomas
The Octagon is in Serbia for today's UFC Belgrade event, a 14-bout fight card headlined by Uros Medic vs. Daniel Rodriguez.
Medic (13-3 MMA) will enter today's main event on a three-fight winning streak, this after scoring first-round finishes over Gilbert Urbina, Muslim Salikhov and Geoff Neal in his most recent efforts. The surging Serbian has gone 4-1 over his past five Octagon appearances overall.
Meanwhile, Daniel Rodriguez (20-5 MMA) will also enter today's headliner on a 3-fight winning streak. ‘D-Rod' most previously competed inside of the cage last July at UFC 318, where he scored a unanimous decision victory over Kevin Holland. That triumph was preceded by a TKO win over Santiago Ponzinibbio in May of 2025.
UFC Belgrade is co-headlined by a key light heavyweight bout featuring former division champion Jan Blachowicz taking on Navajo Stirling.

Blachowicz (29-11-2 MMA) will be returning to the Octagon for the first time since his majority draw with Bogdan Guskov at UFC 323 this past December. The former title holder has gone 0-2-2 over his past four fights, suffering losses to Carlos Ulberg and Alex Pereira during that stretch.
Meanwhile, Navajo Stirling (10-0 MMA) will be looking to keep his perfect record intact this afternoon in Serbia. The 28-year-old was most previously seen in action 6 weeks ago, where he scored a second-round TKO victory over Ion Cutelaba (see that here). Prior to that triumph, Stirling was coming off a TKO win against Bruno Lopes this past March.
Also featured on tonight's UFC Belgrade main card lineup is a heavyweight bout between Aleksandar Rakic and Marcin Tybura.
Rakic (14-6 MMA) will be looking to snap a four-fight losing streak when he makes his heavyweight debut this evening in Serbia. ‘Rocket' has dropped TKO losses to Azamat Murzakanov, Jiri Prochazka and Jan Blachowicz during that rough stretch.
Meanwhile, Marcin Tybura (27-11 MMA) will also be looking to get back in the win column when he takes to the Octagon this afternoon. ‘Tybur' has suffered losses to Ante Delija and Tyrell Fortune in his most recent UFC appearances. Prior to those setbacks, the Polish veteran was coming off back-to-back wins over Mick Parkin and Jhonata Diniz respectively.
If that wasn't enough to get you interested, the UFC Belgrade featured prelim is a highly anticipated lightweight bout between ĽudovÃt Klein and Tofiq Musayev.
Klein (24-5-1 MMA) will be returning to the Octagon for the first time since earning a majority decision win over Mateusz Rebecki at UFC 321 in October of last year. ‘Mr. Highlight' has gone 7-1-1 over his past nine fights, which includes victories over Roosevelt Roberts and Thiago Moises.
Meanwhile, Tofiq Musayev (23-6 MMA) was most previously seen in action this past March at UFC Seattle, where he scored a unanimous decision victory over Ignacio Bahamondes. The 36-year-old has gone 3-1 over his past four fights overall.
