Anthony Joshua’s CURRENT WEIGHT before his fight with Jake Paul has been revealed
Anthony Joshua revealed his current weight 15 days before his fight with Jake Paul.
Joshua will face Paul in an eight-round professional heavyweight fight in Miami on December 19, live on Netflix.
The former two-time world heavyweight champion cannot weigh more than 245 pounds [111kg]over seven pounds lighter than 252.5 pounds [114.53kg] weighed in his last fight against Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
“AJ”, who has already arrived in the US to finish the camp, posted video on social media, he showed how he stepped on the scale on Thursday and weighed 243.8 pounds [110.6kg].
The video was accompanied by the caption: “They must have forgotten.
“I’m used to dealing with massive loads and weights.
“243.8 pounds.”
Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn he said 5 Live boxing podcast in which he misled Paul’s business partner, Nakisa Bidarian, about the Watford player’s weight during negotiations by claiming he was 25 pounds heavier than him.
I’m talking to Professional boxing fans last week Hearn said: “When you’re negotiating a fighter’s weight, there’s not a single promoter in the world who will tell you the truth about a fighter’s weight.
– And Nakisa knows it anyway.
“So it’s not like we were sharp.
“But they wanted him to get to 240 pounds.”
The 36-year-old suffered a devastating fifth-round knockout defeat in his last fight against Dubois for the IBF heavyweight world title.
Last month, Paul was scheduled to fight lightweight world champion Gervonta Davis at the event, but it was canceled after Davis was accused of hitting his ex-girlfriend in a civil lawsuit.

“The Problem Child” reportedly offered fights to Ryan Garcia, Terence Crawford and Francis Ngannou, but chose to face “AJ” when the proposed fights fell through.
Joshua changed his training arrangements, leaving Ben Davison to join former opponent Oleksandr Usyk’s camp in Spain.
While the Olympic gold medalist is the clear favorite, he insists he won’t overlook Paul.

“You can never underestimate anyone,” Joshua said during his media appearance at his first press conference.
“Because there is modern talent coming out of nowhere and everywhere, and he is a modern emerging talent.
“I have to take this very seriously.”

Jaron Ennis is the bookmakers’ main favorite to defeat Xander Zayas in their highly anticipated world title clash on Saturday in Brooklyn.
Ennis challenges Zayas for the WBO and WBA super welterweight belts at the Barclays Center live on DAZN pay-per-view.
The undefeated resident of Philadelphia enters the game as the favorite on February 11 Bet365 give the 23-year-old his first professional defeat and become world champion in two weight categories.

On Wednesday, Lewis Crocker heads to Australia to defend his IBF welterweight world title against Liam Paro for the first time.
Crocker will face Paro at the Pat Rafter Arena in Queensland, live on DAZN in the UK and Kayo Sports in Australia.
Crocker (22-0, 11 KO) became world champion in September, defeating Paddy Donovan twice before winning the rematch by split decision.
Man from Belfast recorded his second victory over Donovan after the first victory in March last year, and his rival was disqualified for hitting him after the bell.
Paro (27-1, 16 KO) is trying to become a world champion in two weight categories, having previously reigned in the super-lightweight division.
The 30-year-old won the title with a unanimous decision victory over Subriel Matias in Puerto Rico before winning the belt in his first defense against Richardson Hitchins.
The Australian has since won twice, overtaking David Papot in his last appearance in September.
McKean meets Taliva
Heavyweight Demsey McKean will look to continue his rebuild when he faces Liam Talivaa for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific title.
McKean (24-2, 16 KO) had his career cut miniature after a last-round loss to Filip Hrgovic, followed by a brutal first-round loss to Moses Itauma.
