Paramount and TKO Group Holdings announced a long -term media rights agreement on Monday, which will place Zuffing Boxing, a fresh promotion created by the TKO entertainment conglomerate and Saudi Arabia Sela, on Paramount+ and CBS from 2026.
Messages appear on the heels of Paramount+ and CBS of exclusive American shopping of UFC media rights, which is also the property of TKO in 2026.
Zuff’s boxing was created in March and is served by the general director of UFC Dana White, President WWE Nick Khan and chairman of Saudi Arabia Arabia Turki Alalshikh. The fresh offer announced on Monday, which concerns the United States, Canada and Latin America, calls up to 12 events in 2026. The exact financial conditions of the contract have not been disclosed.
“I am excited that I can bring great boxing events to the global audience,” said White in a statement issued by TKO. “There are millions of boxing fans who will be able to watch competitive fights with boxers, as well as the biggest stars in sport. Paramount will be home for UFC and boxing fans to watch the biggest fights in combat sport.”
The unofficial premieres of Zuff’s boxing took place at the beginning of this month, when Alalshikh and White joined forces to promote the superboy between Terenka Crawford and Canelo Alvarez at the Allegiant stadium in Las Vegas. This event was broadcast in Netflix.
White, a well -known boxing fan, played a key role in building UFC in a global power since 2011, when he, Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta created Zuffa LLC and bought a promotion that was founded in 1993. In an interview with CBS, White said that fans would probably see similarities in how they built their version of success.
“Basically, as a box of boxing, the way UFC was built, that’s all I loved in boxing and [none] About what I hated in boxing – said White. “I would expect a lot of what you saw at the beginning of the UFC will happen to boxing now.”
According to White, Zuff’s boxing is now in the process of signing talents. White confirmed that athletes would be included.
Exactly, as Zuff’s box is part of the sporting landscape, it turns out. Historically, boxing duels had a huge impact of sanctioning bodies, while UFC maintains exclusive obligations related to mixed martial arts. Like UFC, Zuffing Boxing intends to create its own championships, instead of relying on time-honored sanctioning organs, such as WBA, WBO, WBC and IBF.
