Michael Conlan vs Jack Bateson-Reep results and after the fight
Conlan won in the fourth round with Bateson to get the free WBC title of international featherweight.
Conlan (20-3, KO10) was detained in five by Luis Alberto Lopez in Belfast in the offer of the world title IBF in 2023, and will be re-detained in the next competition, in the seventh round against Jordan Gill in December of the same year.
He returned in March, winning over eight points against Assad Asif Khan in Brighton.
Bateson (20-2-1, KO6) Leeds was frustrated in his last duel in December last year, because his challenge for the European titles IBF and WBO Danny Quartermaine ended early, when both were excluded from the clash of the head in the second round.
Conlan began clearly and quickly controlled the distance in the first few rounds, well landing with his right hand and left body hooks, when Bateson tried to impress his trail.
The third saw Bateson on board when the counterattack on his right hand had Yorkshireman, though to knock down Flash.
Because Bateson must demonstrate a greater urgent need, Conlan landed with an excellent looped right hand in the fourth round, which was supposed to leave his coexisting.
When Bateson tried to recover his feet, it looked like his ankle was injured in autumn, and The judge waved the fight for Catapult Conlan back Leigh Wood to the mixture with Josh Warrington and the rematch.
Charlie Edwards vs Salvador Juarez
Undercard saw how the former WBC Charlie Edwards (21-2, KO7) weight champion took the free Title Super Flyweight in WBC because he scored points over ten rounds against Salvador Juarez (20-9-2, KO4).
Two results 99-91 and a third at 96-94 assured that Edwards returned home with the belt.
Other card
In Super Lightweight Ben Marxby (13-0, KO2) was also the winner of points, when he first passed a 10-person distance, he won the unbeaten Senan Kelly (10-1, KO2). Marxby was recognized as the winner 97-95.
In the eight round in a super-healing Dan in the direction (7-1, KO5) he passed through 79-74 on the judge’s card against Khalid Ennachat (8-3, KO2), while Dean Walsh (4-0, KO1) was the winner of 79-73 against Jamil Elo (4-3-1, KO2) Finland.
In six rounds of attractions, Kieran Molloy (21-0, KO6) survived the victory through the arrest of the third round in welterweight against Nourdeen Toure (12-5, KO6), and Kevin Cronin (10-3-1, KO5) won the verdict 59-55 to get Grant Dennis (19-15, KO3).
Glenn Byrne (6-0-1, KO1) won 58-56 in his super-edge scale with Jacob Quinn (8-7-1, KO0).
Super Featheweight Codie Smith (7-0-1, KO0) won all six rounds against Mario Victorino Vera (8-7, KO3), and Super Bantamweight Paul Loonam (5-0, KO0) was also a winner compared to the distance against Jake Pollard (1-94, Ko0).
In four runes, Cain Lewis (9-0-1, KO2) won points against Eric Omar Lopez (17-30-3, KO10) in Feather, and the debutant in the circuit weight Kian Hedderman (1-0, KO1) was the winner of the detention in the second round against Alexandr Crasnitchia (5-9-1, KO2).
Skye Nicolson came close to winning the world featherweight title with a dominant points win over Mariah Turner in Melbourne on Wednesday.
Nicolson (16-1, 3 KO) defended her interim WBC featherweight crown, winning every round against Turner (12-2, 6 KO) at The Melbourne Pavilion.
Nicolson’s excellent boxing skills were on display from the first round, keeping her opponent at bay from her probing jab.
The 30-year-old southpaw, who won the interim belt in December with a unanimous decision victory over Yuliahn Luna Avila, bloodied Turner’s nose in the third round after a series of successful left hands.
The former featherweight world champion rocked her opponent with a straight left hand in the sixth gesture, but the “Golden Girl” responded with a left hook of her own, sending Nicolson falling to the ropes.
Nicolson returned to boxing backwards in the seventh round and circumscribed her opponent’s success.
Turner’s nose remained bloody over the last few rounds, and the 31-year-old was unable to make up the loss.
The Novel Zealander’s suffering deepened in the final round when she was deducted a point for using her head.
Three scores of 90-89 confirmed the victory of Nicolson, who announced a fight with the undisputed super bantamweight champion, Ellie Scotney after the fight.

Teremon is attacked by Tupou
Teremoana Teremoana defeated Bowie Tupou in the first round, remaining excellent in the heavyweight division.
Teremoana (11-0, 11 KO) landed a brutal uppercut that knocked Tupou’s (29-8, 20 KO) head back, and another right hand sent him to the canvas.
Wylie stops Zalewski
Jake Wylie survived a major scare before stopping Miles Zalewski in the second round of their lightweight fight.
Zalewski (12-4, 10 KO), after an almost three-year break, looked like he was in trouble in the first round, knocked down by a series of shots.

The Novel Zealander fired back in the second round, knocking Wyllie (19-2-1, 17 KO) to his feet with a robust attack.
However, there was no fairy-tale comeback for the 36-year-old, who was weakened later in the round and another attack resulted in the referee’s intervention.
Hussain pushes past Hunt
Benjamin Hussain came off the deck and passed Andrew Hunt by split decision.
Hunt (11-1-1, 6 KO) stopped Hussain (14-2, 8 KO) in the third round, but “The Hype Beast” rallied in a pulsating fight to capture the vacant IBF Inter-Continental super welterweight title with two scores of 95-94 to overturn the 95-94 score in Hunt’s favor.

Undercard remaining
In the lightweight division, Jesse Bolt (4-0, 4 KO) knocked out Faavesi Isaako (3-6, 2 KO) in the second round.
Chloe Chaos (7-2-2, 3 KO) and Arlene Blencowe (5-6-1, 2 KO) drew a split decision in the super welterweight division, and Omar El-Abdallah (5-0, 4 KO) defeated Alivereti Dodomo (7-9, 6 KO) in a super middleweight fight.

Super lightweight prospect Jonte Metaxas (3-0, 1 KO) remained undefeated with a unanimous decision victory over Troy Toleafoa (0-2).

Eddie Hearn did not contact Deontay Wilder about fighting Anthony Joshua after signing a contract to fight Tyson Fury, his manager Shelly Finkel claims.
There has been speculation that Joshua could return against Wilder before he faces Fury.
Instead, the 36-year-old will return to the ring on July 25 against Kristian Prengi, before facing Fury in November.
Wilder called out longtime rival “AJ” after his victory over Derek Chisora earlier this month.
The pair have been linked to a clash since both men held world heavyweight titles in 2018, and Finkel believes Joshua had no interest in fighting the “Bronze Bomber.”
“You can’t be disappointed with something that never happened,” Finkel said Heavenly sports.
“Eddie never contacted us and Joshua obviously had no intention of fighting Deontay Wilder.
“Same antique story, just modern date.”
Joshua and Wilder were scheduled to fight in March 2024, but the American was defeated by Joseph Parker in December 2023.
“AJ” will fight for the first time since he knocked out Jake Paul in the sixth round in December.
Ten days later, the two-time world heavyweight champion was involved in a tragic car accident that killed two of his close friends and left him with minor injuries.
Saudi Arabian boxing boss Turki Alalshikh announced that Joshua and Fury have signed a contract for their mega fight in a post on the website X on Monday, which read: “To my friends in the UK – it’s happening. This is signed.

Moments later, Joshua’s return was announced against unknown Albanian Prengi.
“It’s no secret that I’ve taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready to get back into the ring, and today is the next step in that journey,” Joshua said.
“I am delighted to have agreed to a multi-fight contract starting on July 25 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“I’m looking forward to competing and continuing where I left off.
“Like I said. The landlord will collect rent. That’s for sure.”
Fury defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov on points in his return to the ring following his retirement earlier this year.
“The Gypsy King” called “AJ”, who was watching the gala from the side of the ring, and declared that he would retire again if the fight with his rival did not take place.
However, his manager Spencer Brown revealed that he may fight again ahead of his fight with Joshua.
