Success in Puerto Rico from the “Ring to Social Network” seminar

Published

The day was part of the “WBO Give Back” program, which was of great importance for his effort to provide practical tools for fighters so that they could develop integral in both four -sided and society.

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) again meant a guideline with its social commitment, gathering over a hundred professional and boxers fans in the seminar, which left their trail on Puerto Rico. According to the presidency of Puerto Rican Gustavo Olivieri, the agency presented the conversation entitled “From the ring to social networks”, which offered participants a recent and necessary vision of effective and legal management of digital platforms in the life of an athlete.

The day was part of the “WBO Give Back” program, which was of great importance for his effort to provide practical tools for fighters so that they could develop integral in both four -sided and society.

The initiative has been applauded by trainers, leaders and boxers who recognize that up-to-date times require preparation outside physical training and competition.

During the conversation, outstanding professionals, such as Frances Lee Reyes, María Rivera and Verónica Silva from Magnet Company, shared the concepts about the importance of the work of the athlete’s image in all their aspects. His exhibition emphasized the need to strengthen the personal brand as a bridge to maximize the possibilities of sponsorship, cooperation with companies and generating income. Similarly, the value of consistency between what boxer designs in the ring and what it sends on social networks has been emphasized, understood today as a global presentation.

For his part, the lawyer Ketzia Rosario Rodríguez from Alberto Rodríguez Law Offices turned to the legal aspects related to the protection of the image of athletes. He emphasized that every boxer must be aware of their rights and the legal scope of their publication, contracts and the exploit of content, because carelessness in this field can bring vital consequences in the career of every athlete.

The activity took place at the Muñíz Souffirt at the Ana G. Méndez University, Couey Emplace and distinguished by the vigorous participation of society. Participants of the boxers not only received academic orientation, but also could share their experiences and explain doubts with specialists. The atmosphere was described as motivating and enriching, in dynamics that mixed teaching with nearby interaction.

The seminar also served as a space for providing free training teams to participants, a gesture that was grateful for youthful boxers who often do not have high -quality resources. This detail strengthened the central message that the development of the athlete must be comprehensive, from technical preparation to personal and social strengthening.

It should be remembered that on June 28 WBO has already presented another educational conversation under the same program “WBO DA” entitled “How to protect your money outside the ring.” On this occasion, the speakers emphasized the importance of financial planning, budgeting and construction of a solid economic base, which allows athletes to prepare for the future. The continuity of these activities confirms that the agency is trying to go beyond the administration of the championships and belts.

OMB’s social effort is directed to a boxer, has complementary training that allows him to move in his life with greater preparation and awareness. At a time when exhibition in the media can define a career, the orientation received in “from the ring to social networks” draws enormous value for youthful people who dream of reaching the summit and for those professionals who are already traveling on a demanding path and a lasting public exhibition.

OMB still makes a difference in free educational programs that are looking for their athletes to grow as competitors and citizens. A positive response to the seminar confirms that the message was sturdy and vivid, generating additional motivation for projects that the agency will continue to promote for the benefit of the boxing community.

Dillian Whyte has called for a third fight with Derek Chisora.

Whyte and Chisora had two crazy battles, with “The Body Snatcher” winning both fights, the last of which took place in 2018.

The 38-year-old has not fought since a first-round loss to Moses Itauma, but is looking forward to meeting Chisora again, who is coming off a loss to Deontay Wilder earlier this month.

At the end of last year, both teams were linked with each other, but they failed to reach an agreement.

“He says he wants to fight me and he’s not going to retire,” he said Sky Sports News.

“Not many boxers have trilogies in their career.

“I would love to fight him again.

“I think a trilogy would be great because we’re both at a stage in our careers where there won’t be a lot of running, a lot of moving around.

“We will stand there and trade.

“He doesn’t like me, I don’t like him.

“He doesn’t want to lose to me, I don’t want to lose to him.

“I would like to wear this.

“If Derek is earnest, he knows where I am. I will fight Derek Chisora tomorrow.”

Chisora fought until his 50th fight and, he claimed, it was the last time in his professional career against Wilder.

The 42-year-old fell twice after losing a split decision at the O2 Arena and has not fully confirmed his retirement since.

Had Whyte not secured a fight against his British rival, he claims he would have been open to fighting either Wilder or Andy Ruiz Jr.

David Benavidez believes that Canelo Alvarez will come to see how he will perform in Saturday’s match against Zurdo Ramirez.

Canelo has long been accused of avoiding a fight with Benavidez and has consistently distanced himself from a potential fight with him.

Alvarez is set to presence on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to support stablemate Jaime Munguia, who will face WBA super middleweight champion Armando Resendiz on the fight card.

Benavidez, however, believes the Mexican champion will actually come to see how he will do in his cruiserweight debut against Zurdo.

“It’s a large event,” the 29-year-old told reporters on Wednesday.

“You can judge the scale of the event because Canelo wasn’t even at Jaime Munguia’s last fight.

– He says yes [coming] for Munguia.

“He won’t come to see Munguia, he will come to see me up close.

“I don’t know if it’s about looking forward to the next fight, but you can see how everything turned out.

“I went to his fights, now he comes to my fights.

“I don’t need to say anything more.”

This will be the first time in six years that Alvarez has not fought on the Cinco De Mayo weekend, and his return from his loss to Terence Crawford will likely take place on September 12 in Riyad.

Benavidez challenges Zurdo for his unified WBA and WBO cruiserweight world titles, live on DAZN and Amazon Prime pay-per-view.

“The Mexican Monster” remains the WBC delicate heavyweight champion and defended his title for the first time with a seventh round stoppage over Anthony Yard in November in Riyad.

The Arizona native will become a three-division world champion if he defeats Ramirez, but he later vowed to return to delicate heavyweight to face Dmitry Bivol in an undisputed title bout.

“My plan wasn’t just to abandon the delicate heavyweight division,” he further said Ariel Helwani show.

“My plan was this [to] come up, win two titles, come back and make this fight with me and Bivol even bigger.

“My dream is to become unified champion.

“It would be wise for me to go back downstairs.”
