Coach, warrior and father: Meet England Andrew Fisher

Image loan: Dave MandelIf you want to know what multitasking is, look at Andrew Fisher’s everyday.
The English MMA veteran started an interview, just put his two little girls after returning from another strenuous training session. Here is the reality of the military trainer for you.
“I am very, very busy,” Fisher told me. “I do all school runs every day: Wysetki, pick-ups. I take my children to the park as much as possible. I try to give all mine [students] So much attention and one -on -one time as possible, and then I still teach all the fighting classes.
“Of course, some of the younger guys who train just get up when they want, go to the gym and then [they play] At their Xbox, their mother makes food and sings them at night, and that’s all. But if I want to do something for myself, I have to get up at five in the morning, if I want to hit the pads or escape. “
Family man
Understanding a warrior is not an basic task. In fact, if you were not in their shoes, it is almost impossible. Andrew was lucky to find a person who understands him better than anyone else.
“We wife also competes,” he shared. “Currently, he is number one amateur in England, so he completely understands how it is, and we just try to lend a hand each other. […] He has children, I have time for training; I have children, he has time to train. Because there are school holidays in England at the moment, my two smallest girls who are six and four years aged, just sitting or running there [at the gym]. Today I paired and my two girls were just running, screaming. “
However, he is confident, despite how hard it is sometimes, will never change life. He thinks that this lifestyle gives him an advantage over the opposition, because no one else does what he does.
Often, for fighters, introducing children to the fight of sport becomes a sensitive object. And understandable that they know what is associated with the journey of martial arts, struggles and disadvantages. Andrew is no exception: he is not able to think that his children will be hit in his head in his career.
“I have a daughter who is 17 years aged, and a son who is also 14 years aged, and they had to train only twice a week,” explained Fisher. “And then they could play on the computer, do what they want, as long as there were these two classes. My son is still trying to force me to fight, but I don’t really want him. […] But I would prefer my children not to do it. “
Capitain team
“I’m not really a coach, I’m more of the team’s captain,” said the Englishman about dynamics in the action team (TFT). “I’ve always trained with everyone every day and I feel that I’m just one of the guys. I’m not really one of those trainers who just stand, watch and scream from the side. […] I won’t miss the session. “
Of course, with the arrival of the fight on September 13, some changes should be made. Fisher understands that he must be a little more selfish when he passes through his own camp. These are the rules of the game and you can’t do anything with them. Fortunately, TFT is able to function in these conditions thanks to the community that has built over the years.
Modern Andrew Fisher

Fisher thinks his way of thinking was not suitable for his last fights. Because he was bigger than most of his opponents, he just relied on a strenuous shot. In his mind this led to his last two failures.
“Perhaps I retired prematurely after my last fight, because I beat myself a bit,” he said. “I was a bit illustrated, what was my set of skills. […] I felt that I only needed one blow and the whole fight would change. So I just relying on it, but of course my last two fights that didn’t really work. I didn’t employ any of my other skill sets. “
Time away from the cage caused the English to thread the retirement. Refreshed and overloaded, he believes that he knows what to change in the future.
“In fact, it was nice not to think about these things and realize what my mistakes were,” said Fisher about his downtime. He spent a lot of time in front of the board, analyzing his performances and inventing a recent strategy.
“I feel better than ever [have]”Fisher announced before returning to Cage Warriors 193.” I feel smarter, I train more reasonably, I feel more competent, I feel stronger, so I just don’t understand why I NO to continue.”
