Craig Parker talks to World Boxing News about Jake Paul

Craig Parker, the boxer laid 14 years through WBA, before Jake Paul replaced him uncertainly, he told the organization to support the decision.

Speaking only with World Boxing News, Parker reacted to the news that WBA bosses are planning to consider Paul’s ranking again.

The Ring magazine stated that WBA had complained about boxers’ complaints after Paul’s assessment on number 14 and dropping Parker on number 15.

Parker was abandoned by one place, even though he did not make his foot in 20 duels. The American former national champion has 20 knockouts from his 20 wins and will choose number 21 August 5.

No official complaint

Asked if he was one of the ranking boxers who lodged a complaint to WBA, Parker said WBN: “No, my team and I did not feel the need for it.

“I spoke publicly not only for myself, but for many boxers who felt the same. It was enough. Now I am closed in what I do and what will happen next (August 5).

What he thinks about the review of WBA’s Paul’s assessment, Parker replied: “I think that if they put him there, stand on them. It is on them.

“Now it gives him a chance to enter the ring with real warriors, guys like me who deserved him for a long time.”

Not chasing #14

WBN then asked Parker if he would accept ranking number 14 if WBA removed Paul. He replied: “I don’t chase #14. I chase the mountain.

“Regardless of whether they improve it or not, my goal is to climb constantly until he denies who I am.”

The Country Box promoters revealed the next Parker fight in Trubadour Theater in Nashville next month, within eight rounds.

Parker aims to achieve another victory, which can even raise the WBA Cruiser WWWEight list.
