Gervonta Davis is fighting for a controversial draw with Lamont Roach

The perfect record of Gerrvont “Tank” by Davis is no longer, but it remains controversial undefeated after a majority decision in his fight with Lamont Roach.

One judge fired a fight for Davis as a result of 115-113, and the other two cards return even 114-114.

Bad left hook unofficially fired 115-113 and 116-112, both for Lamont Roach, which came as a huge weaker and acted extremely well.

The most critical attraction, which was in the ninth round, when Davis took his knee, and judge Steve Willis refused to call a strenuous, basically allowed the tank to call his own time limit, and then go to the corner to shake his face from towing. We have already talked about it a bit, but it is really one of the absurd and bizarre you will ever see.

Davis blamed that the hair had recently made and Grease got into the incident with the knee.

“He was probably lying (he was lying) when he said that Grease fell into his eyes, but if you voluntarily dress up his knee, it should be knocking down,” Roach said after the fight.

Roach (25-1-2, 10 KO) first appeared from 130 pounds in his career in a earnest fight and never really had significant problems with Davis’ strength (30-0-1, 28 KO), which could consist of the historical “inevitability” of the said task at the end, even with tardy starts.

It just didn’t pass. Roach and his team had a great game plan, and the warrior made a greatly well, while Davis never put it all at a level that the main favorite and vast star is expected.

The scoring itself will be controversial, i.e. the course, just like every draw, but when you also take into account the history of unchanging and boxing, there is a lot to suspect, which is sincere enough. Life.

“I think I have done it in the last three rounds,” said Davis. “I caught him with spotless arrows and crashed as the rounds passed. But he still didn’t make mistakes, so I was careful.”

Davis said it wasn’t Roach who made a combat competition, but his own effort, but said that he felt punishing he was a rematch.

“No, to be sincere, I really made him competitive. For the real one. Honestly,” he said. “But certainly Lamont is a great warrior. He has skills, he has a power to hit. It was a learned lesson. Shouting with Lamont Roach and his whole team, man, I hope we can escape him.”

“I went here and showed,” said Roach. “I am a bit disappointed with this decision, I thought I pulled her out. But these are two qualified fighters showing their crafts.

“I am him. I win you like that. I am one of the best fighters in the world and it showed it tonight,” he added, saying that he does it because it is a rematch.

Roach is exactly right that this should be seen for him as a victory, even if it is only a moral victory, and so the world of boxing will think about it. Davis’ supplies will bring a reasonable hit here and it should, but at the same time the rematch between them will now be greater than this fight, because many more people will enter this one thinking roach – and even should – win, which was not the case.

Lamont Roach has proved that many people are wrong. And Gervonta Davis can also have, just not as he wanted.

Tsyzyu about what he is hoping to show the world in the fight with Spencer

“I just want to show a calculated, measured warrior who introduces all dominant performances from earlier and show him again.”

Why, why is he in the face of Spencer, when he could take it easier to fight

“I never felt like I came out. I had some hiccups along the way, but I’m still there with the best dogs and I have to go back to this winning column.

“I think he has several plans, I think he will perform first and then come back, and then aggression will occur, then he will counterattack. He has good hooks and good IQ in boxing, so I don’t know, we let and it’s about adaptation.”

Knowing that the rates are high for him in this fight, because the loss here would be an amazing failure for him

“This is like a sink or swimming for me. That’s how I treat it.”

About being on a collision course with Keith Thurman

“It seems that the roads lead this path, especially with the fight in Australia. But yes, at the moment Joey Spencer is in my head.”

If he still wants a rematch from Sebastian Fundor

“For sure. I think that this is a huge fight to do and there is still a bit of unfinished business. It was a close fight, she could go both ways and, we’ll see what will happen in the future.”

"I don't have to chase Katie": Dubois admits that Taylor doesn't need a fight

Caroline Dubois still hopes to fight Katie Taylor, but she claims that she did not “chase” the fight, but the findings that Taylor does not really have to do it.

Talking with Sky SportsDubois – which has a delicate WBC title – still has a visit to the age of 135, like Taylor, and has Terri Harper in its view.

“I’m not too much. [a fight with Taylor] It happens or not, it is irrelevant to me. … I don’t have to chase Katie Taylor. … and honestly, she doesn’t need me. So [if] We fight, great. If not, this is not a problem for me. “

“I think now [Terri Harper] He realizes that there is no other option. You know, she is defeated by Beatriz Ferreira, but she is really beaten without payment. Or he is fighting Stephanie Han for nothing. Or he fights with me and a beating stays, but at least he gets a payment day. “

Dubois (11-0-1, 5 KO) just fought on March 7 at Royal Albert Hall, defeating me Re shin with a decision in a humorous fight, while Harper (15-2-2 KO) will defend his WBO title at home at Doncaster 23 May against the unbeatable Natalie Zimmermann.

On Dubois paper, it seems to be a terrible Harper duel, who was shocked and detained both in losing against Alycia Baumgardner at the age of 130, and Sandy Ryan at 147, and Dubois is much better than the average hit.

But Dubois is right that he is almost certainly the option of Harper’s best money, unless Harper was to be an unexpected choice for the fight Katie Taylor.

Taylor (24-1, 6 KO) is currently the undisputed champion at 140 pounds and for the third time he will face Amanda Serrano on July 11 at Madison Square Garden.
