Exclusive Brandon Figueroa believes that Mario Barrios is a sedate threat to the historical return of Manny Pacquiao, when two claims for the title of welterweight on July 19.
Figueroa, who will face Joet Gonzalez (27-4, 15 KO) in the MGM Grand factor in Las Vegas, talked only with World Boxing News about the return of Pacquiao.
Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KO) is aimed at capturing the WBC welterweight crown at the age of 46, six years after becoming the oldest welterweight champion in history. The Filipino Supergivid can also become the first sitting Hall of Famer, which won any version of the world championship title.
Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KO) defends the WBC welterweight title, and victory over Pacquiao can signal the last chapter of one of the most two-story boxing heritage.
Having the first-hand experience of Barrios and his development as a professional, Figueroa (25-2-1, 19 KO) warned “Pac-Man” so as not to underestimate the master.
Figueroa, a former owner of WBA Super Bantameight titles, who currently conducted a campaign for 126 pounds, trained next to Barrios and witnessed his first -hand development.
Figueroa: “Barrios is not a push-it’s a 50-50 fight”
Asked if Pacquiao can win, Figueroa said WBN: “I just don’t know, it depends only on how massive his fire is.
“If Manny Pacquiao’s will and fire are larger and brighter, everything is possible. But Mario Barrios is not a pusher.
“He is also hungry. I don’t think he wants to let this title go away, so I think it’s fifty -fifty fight.
“I don’t see Manny’s age as a disadvantage, but I don’t know. As I said, it depends only on the hungry manna and how much she wants it.
“I don’t know Manny personally to know if this fire is illuminated, but it looks illuminated.”

Hazardous test
On what fight he expects: “Heart crunch” replied: “It will be an compelling fight. I can’t wait.
“I think that Barrios will improve with every fight since he has been working with Bob Santos, he has been doing great things.
“I trained there next to him and he puts on work. It will be a hellish fight. I am excited, but I can’t say who will be the winner,” said the 126-pound claimant.
