David Benavidez WBC champion at 175

David Benavidez will debut in Saudi Arabia this fall, when the WBC Lightweight Heavyweight champion defends his world title.

Benavidez, who defeated David Morrell Jr. In February, he will go to the Middle East to take part in the Riyadh season in November.

The former contender for the title of the world, Anthony Yarde, will be in the opposite corner after the conversations with Callum Smith.

The owner of the Ring Turki magazine Alalshikh confirmed the social media news.

“Mexican monster” David Benavidez will debut in the Riyadh season in November, when he defends the title of WBC Lightweight Heavyweight World against the hazardous pretender Anthony Yarde, “said Alalshikh.

Yarde is eminent for its almost detention of Sergey Kovalev in the eighth round of the meeting in 2019.

Kovalev gathered to ensure victory in Russia.

Before the fight, Kovalev said: “This fight allows us to fight Canelo later.”

He was right because “Krusher” fought Canelo in November and lost the title.

If Yarde won, the British was in line with Canelo’s fight.

Yarde now has another chance with a green and golden lane on the line after victory over Lyndon Arthur in April.

Triumph’s rubber match made Yarde improve his record to 27-3.

In addition to the losses Arthur and Kovalev, Yarde lost to Artur Beterbav in 2023.

The challenge was associated with defeating the two-level ruler of 30-0, who failed to knock out six opponents.

Benavidez prevailed twice in Super Middle weight, then moved to 175 pounds and won the momentary WBC belt.

WBC raised Benavidez in April, when Dmitriry Bivol confirmed his fight against the trilogy with Beterbaiev for later in 2025.
