WBO explains, without a shot for Moses, the next

moses itauma vs balogun 2025

President WBO Gustavo Olivieri moved to explain the confusion around the heavyweight status of Moses Itum.

After the praise of Ituma on Saturday, after the demolition of Mike Balogun by Massive British, some thought that the 20-year-old was in line to challenge Oleksandr Usyk.

Olivieri said: “Moses ITAUMA has climbed WBO rankings with talents, discipline and electrifying performances. Now this is the global pretender market to ponderous weight, its moment is approaching.

“It’s just a matter of time before he gets his shot and the world appears a up-to-date star.”

Asked if this means that Ituma is ahead of the Provisional Champion Joseph Parker in the order of pecking, Olivieri replied: “Not necessarily. Now, to become a must, the warrior must face the evaluated opposition.

“In the case of Ituma last month he was in place No. 2 and having #1 Justis Huni undertook to fight the short-lived title of WBA, he is excluded, and Ituma moves to place number one by default.”

Olivieri called for a slight spell of further debate to fully explain about the current position of Ituma.

“As a reminder, while Moses Ituma has a global WBO ranking in the heavyweight department, this itself is not a mandatory status.

“This designation requires overcoming the highest rated contenders. Joe Parker remains an official mandatory contender and maintains priority in accordance with the WBO principles.”

In the event that the planned Usyk’s next opponent, Agit Kabayel, is not evaluated, Olivieri summed up: “Kabayel has a short-lived title of another organization. Therefore, he is a recognized master and did not assess.”

Leigh Oldney

Ituma is probably at least eighteen months since the difficulty for the crown of the division at the moment. There is a debate that will take place after the fight of Usyk with Daniel Dubois on July 19 at Wembley Stadium.

After downloading less than two rounds to send an American Balogun, the promoter Frank Warren sets Itauma to the card.

However, the winner of Usyk vs Dubois will face Kabayel or Parker, depending on whether WBC or WBO is won by the argument.

If Usyk keeps and decides to abandon some belts, Ituma may have a chance against Parker. The probability is that Usyk will continue for another year and give Parker a chance for the title of world champion, unquestioned or not.

The fight can take place in an ordinary heart before Christmat in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with all the world championships not sure if they are on the line.

Provided that Ituma can continue to impress, he should be able to fight for the title of heavyweight WBO at the latest.

Published

Heavyweight Mihai Nistor tells WBN that Deontay Wilder can return to the top of sport and take out his rival Anthony Joshu.

Unbeatable Romanian, 8-0, 8 KO, was the first boxer to stop Joshua when they fought in amateurs fourteen years ago.

He says Wilder still has the opportunity.

Nistor fought for who is the current heavyweight crops during his days in an unpaid code.

The 34-year-old was fought by Filip Hrgovic, Otto Wallin, Tony Yoka and Oleksandr Usyk. In addition, Guido Vianello, Yoandy Toirac and Frazer Clarke with mixed results.

This experience gives a unique perspective, especially at Joshua. The British remains the target of Nistor in the ranks of Pro before retiring.

Joshua continues to fight the British rival of Tyson Fury. However, “Gypsy King” is an adamant pension is his future.

But with Wilder next month, Sharp Money is on Joshua, finally shares the ring with the American Slugger this year.

To set up such a possibility, Wilder must go through Tyrell Herndon on 27 June at Charles Koch Arena, Wichita, Kansas.

AJ fight becomes real again.

It’s no secret that the name “brown bomber” is damaged goods. His one -sided losses with Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang at the Kingdom of the Arena in Saudi Arabia were for this.

If the 39-year-old can win in the style of BLK Prime PPV, Nistor believes that Wilder has a chance to defeat Joshua in Great Britain.

Asked what he does about the losses of Deontay Wilder and his return, Nistor said deeply World Boxing News: “Career is like life: he has its heights and downs.

“But in the case of Deontay Wilder I think that in the next fight he will be more concentrated, concentrated and prepared.”

Golden boy

About whether Wilder can return to the top when he approaches 40, Nistor replied: “Why not? Everything depends on his physical and mental preparation.

“Age is not a barrier; it’s just a number, and if it is prepared and ready, everything can happen.”

Summary of Wilder’s fight versus Joshua and whether the WBC heavyweight championship holder was concentrated can then overthrow the current king, Usyk, Nistor said: “I believe that Wilder can defeat Joshua.

“But, as we know, it is more tough to win Deontay Wilder from Usyk.”

As he strives for 9-0 in his career this year, Nistor has one hundred percent knockout and remains a potential opponent of Wilder or Joshua in the future.

Fulgham is waiting for Canelo and the plant after Friday evening

Darius Fulghum Las Vegas

There is so much on the line on Friday evening, when the invincible Darius “DFG” Fulgham (14-0, 12 KO) will face Betemir “Bully” Melikuziv (15-1, 10 KO) in what is the world title World World World Title World Title World World Bookld Booksing (WBA).

“There will be separation in the super medium medium ward,” Fulghum explained. “Plant (WBA fleeting master) fights the day after my fight in Las Vegas, but” Canelo “(Alvarez) holds all cards.”

The key question, however, is how long Alvarez maintains full control over the department?

The undisputed world champion of the super medium weight Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (69-22, 39 KO) is ruled by the 168-pound division and 34-year-old, who has been a professional boxer since 2005, now he only fights twice a year to celebrate Cinco de Mayo (May) and Mexican Day of independence (September). The final boxing rainback reportedly signed four fights with the Riyadh season, which began on May 4 with the dominant 12-round unanimous decision about the previously undefeated William Scull (23-1, 9 KO). Canelo has a Mega-Wallka set compared to the next future Hall of Famer, Terenka Crawford (41-0, 31 KO), September 12 in Las Vegas. If “Canelo” ends the Riyadh season contract, the Mexican will remain only two required fights in 2025.

Even if he does not retire after Crawford’s fight, “Canelo” will still have four compulsory defense to do or devoid of his titles. Winner Fulghum vs. Melikuziv is positioned as a leading global contender WBA, if not a mandatory pretender.

The only super medium scale rated above by WBA than no. 3 Melikuziv and no. 4 Fulghum is a plant (23-2, 14 KO), No. 1 Christian Mballi (27-0, 23 KO) and No. 2 Leicester Martinez (19-0, 18 Kos), from Guatemala.

Plant is fighting WBA No. 15 Jose Armando Resendiz (15-2, 11 KO) the day after Melikuziv vs. Fulghum, also in Las Vegas, on the same card as the former world champion Jermall Charlo (33-0, 22 Kos) vs. Thomas Lamanna (39-5-1, 18 Kos). Plant vs. Charlo, assuming that both are the winners, apparently they are on a collision course for the next fights.

Mbilli, a French Olympian living in Canada, will be abandoned from his ranking No. 1 WBA, when he faces this champion of the super average Medium Championships of the World Boxing Council (WBA) in WBC Super WBC championships in the super medium medium championships.

“This eliminator sets everything for me and I am a business,” said Fulghum. “I will not do it more than that, because every fight I had was extremely critical; I would not be here if I lost any of my fights. There is no additional pressure, because it is an eliminator and after this Friday night there will be much more.”

28-year-old Fulghum, fighting with Houston, fights with Melikuziv, the Silver Olympic medalist 2016 from Uzbekistan, in its proper perspective.

“This eliminator sets everything for me and I am a business,” said Fulghum. “But I won’t do anything more than that, because every fight I had was extremely critical; I wouldn’t be here if I lost any of my fights. There is no additional pressure, because it is an eliminator, because after this Friday night there will be much more.”

42-0 Ko’d pretend in one, loses twice in one night

Abel Mendoza knocked out TCL

The lithe pretender Abel Mendoza suffered beating in the first round at the hands of Daniel Morales when Texan lost twice in one night.

Mendoza risked his reputation, making a bold decision to compete in the Team Combat League last month after the spell in 2024. Since then, 42-0 the star lost nine times in a disposable format.

Morales, who has 8-0, 5 KO in his professional career, is the first to stop Mendoza.

The Combat League team emphasized the fight in social media, this was the unilateral nature of the competition.

By competing for Phoenix Fury, Mendoza lost another card session against Diego Dominguz. However, Fury still managed to win with La Elite in Arizona Athletic.

The 29-year-old is currently training at the Sonna boxing gym in Goodyear, and he is waiting for a more significant offer. His latest performance was the place for a spare place on the Ring Times Square magazine in Fresh York.

Departing from Fort Stockton, he never saw the action and was only a substitute for Ryan Garcia vs Rolly Romero Headliner.

Abel Mendoza represents Phoenix Fury in a slight division (135 pounds). Born on December 5, 1995 at Fort Stockton, Texas, currently training Sonny boxing at Goodyear, Arizona.

“I want to announce that I will be ready in case Ryan Garcia or Rolly Romero were wounded during the coming fight in Fresh York,” said World Boxing News.

“Many fighters have been injured and you never know, but now I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m waiting for my shot!

“I would say that they are both elite fighters. I hope they won’t take me lightly when they fight me because I will be ready.”

Patiently waiting for a significant opportunity has become the subject of Mendozy, since WBN began to embrace the warrior and his outstanding record on paper.

However, the more it appears about Mendoza, the more fans and media ask questions about his ability to compete at the highest level.

Loss to 6-2 weight Super Flyight Yusniel Abrahante during his term of TCL is proof of this.

Mendoza undoubtedly argues that the format is significantly different from the competition of ten or twelve rounds in professional ranks.
