Louis Armstrong stadium to the host of Berlang, Stevenson fighting on July 12

The Ring Magazine announced on Wednesday that the card from July 12, headed by Edgar Berlang vs. Hamzah Sheeraz and Shakur Stevenson defending the WBC lightweight championship against William Zepeda will take place at the Louis Armstrong stadium in Queens, Modern York.

The Ring Magazine 3 event will be broadcast to Dazn and will be served as the premiere event of the upcoming TV program Ring “Inside the Ring”.

The Louis Armstrong stadium was opened in 2018 and mainly tennis events, including the US Open. The place will accommodate nearly 15,000 and has a buried roof, which will be necessary for the organization of a boxing event in the summer. This is the first tennis stadium that has a roof and naturally ventilated.

Although the defense of Stevenson titles will be treated as the main event throughout the whole week of fighting, it will be a great -the average fight of Berlang from Sheeraz, which closes the program.

Stevenson (23-0, 11 KO) goes down from the ninth round of TKO in February over the tardy deputy Josh Padley, while Zepeda (33-0, 27 KO) defeated Tevin Farmer in March. Berlanga (23-1, 18 KO) will return to action for the first time since he abandons the unilateral decision about Canelo Alvarez in September last year. Sheeraz from England (21-0-1, 17 KO) fought with the controversial draw with the Middle Libra Master Carlos Adames in February.

Ring Magazine 3 will take place the day after a very anticipated fight with the trilogy between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, which will also take place in Modern York at Madison Square Garden.
