Emanuel Navarrete defeats Charly Suarez controversial
Published
13 hours agoon

San Diego, California-Emanuel Navarrete (40-2-1, 32 KO) returned to the Arena of Pechang, he was dramatic and controversial. He fought with a veteran whose experience, durability and determination proved to be challenging. From the opening bell Charly Suarez (18-1, 10 KO) she jumped on Navarrete.
The round showed what the fight would be, the war forward and the return between two inexorable warriors. Navarrete began a sturdy, giving Suarez a bloody nose in the first round. His best rounds were early rounds, and then began to show signs of fatigue in the middle rounds. According to Suarez, he stated in Presser after the fight that he felt that Navarrete’s blows were becoming weaker as progressed.
Navarrete tried to make weight, requiring six attempts to reach the target weight 130. His weight problems seem to affect his conditioning. In the sixth round the fight changed, and Navarrete suffers a nasty cut on the left eye. The judge said that this is the title of the head, but the repetition of the released temperature shows the left blow thrown by Saarez, which lands, and then a tiny collision of heads occurs. The fight lasted until the eighth round, when at the beginning of the round the ring doctor stopped fighting due to cutting. After he was recognized as the title of the head, he came to the results cards for which the judges ruled in favor of Navarrete. Acquiring him a technical decision.
If the cut was a blow, the fight would end with a technical knockout victory. Making Suarez a fresh WBO Junior Lightweight champion. The California State Sports Commission is to review the incident. Carl Moretti published on X that after reviewing the replay, he deserves a rematch. Suarez has shown interest in ironing revenge. Navarrete, however, clearly did not express the desire. His difficulty in bringing weight can be the reason why he hesitates to give the final one, because he can potentially overcome the division.
In the current situation, in 7 rounds, Navarrete was able to land 32.5 percent of his blows. Suarez released, it landed 98 to 86 blows. If the match was not detained in the eighth round and continued, both warriors think they could win the match
distance. Suarez said he was simply warming up, while Navarrete felt Suarez had a lot of experience, but he could hurt him inside. Due to the controversial nature of how the match ended and because of how close it was, the rematch would seem inevitable. .
The question remains whether Navarrete is able to fight this weight again, or is it a featherlight jump?

Jake Paul’s most valuable promotions were continued to invest in the boxing of women with the signatures of the master of super weight Middle in IBF Savannah Marshall and the ephemeral owner of WBC, Chantelle Cameron, promotion revealed on Monday ESPN.
The additions of former unquestioned masters boost the already forceful list of women’s boxers, because the most valuable promotions are now offered by four of the 10 best ESPN fighters.
“Savannah Marshall and Chantelle Cameron are world-class athletes who represent the best boxes for women and the proud tradition of the Great Britain masters. Now, together with Ellie Scotney, MVP is the most dominant list of British athletes of women in boxing,” said MVP Paul and Cook Bidarian co-founders. “Like Amanda Serrano and Alycia Baumgardner, Savannah and Chantelle, they have reached the peak of this sport, becoming the undisputed masters, giving them experience, perspective and platform to lead the next generation. We can’t wait for their debuts of MVP in the coming weeks.”
Marshall (13-1, 10 KO) is a world champion in two divisions. It maintained the title WBO Average weight in 2020-2022, after which she abandoned the unanimous decision about the current ESPN fighter No. 1 pound, Claress Shields, in the first versatile boxing card in Great Britain in September 2022, he bounced off the loss, defeating Franchon Crews-Dezurn in 2023. Marshall attacks the return to the ring after trying his hand in MMA, stopping Mirela Vargas in the first round at PFL Europe in Newcastle in June 2024.
“The plan is to support Savannah in the implementation of all fights that is interested, which includes a rematch with Claressa Shields,” said Bidarian ESPN.
“I am glad that I am now part of MVP – which, more than any other promoter, recognize the value that women bring to this sport,” said Marshall. “As a world champion in two weighs and previously reached unquestioned, it seems that he is natural here and I can’t wait to start fighting under their banner.”

Since then, Cameron won the fights and will have an eye on the winner of the fight Taylor with Amanda Serrano on July 11.
“If anyone wins, they intend to keep the belt in the long run, they will have to face Chantelle,” said Bidarian about Cameron’s plans.
“I am very excited about this movement. MVP did not encourage talks about myself and female boxing,” said Cameron. “This is a fantastic opportunity for the next stage of my career and an unbelievable platform to present my boxing skills.”
The debut fights of Marshall and Cameron with the promotion will be announced in the coming weeks.

Teofimo Lopez is under the growing pressure after his recent comments to Terenka Crawford in a viral film.
Lopez is accused of calling Crawford N-Słow in a statement he has denied. A super lightweight WBO master can now face the action of sanctioning bodies, if an unanimous star does not apply to allegations.
The still available clip, which many fans saved after published it by Lopez, show Teofimo Lopez sr., saying: “This is B **** (Terence) Crawford does not want to fight us!”
Lopez Jr. He answered twice: “Where is n **** er?”
After accusing racism, Lopes replied: “I said” alcohol “because Crawford called my father drunk and drugs.
“I meant how we were in the gym, so I asked:” Where is this alcohol? “
He later added: “I love everyone and appreciate all the breeds. No racism here. Stop hating and stop dividing.
“The vulture of culture, I call it as it is. The truth is that I am the only one that can fall on people’s parades.
“Do not take me if you think I’m a racist or ask me for interviews. A whole group of victims who can’t stand something but fall in love with everything!”
However, despite the fact that Lopez fought without apologizing for his actions, the fans responded to the 27-year-old world champion in two divisions.
“Buddy, we all heard you again,” said one of the commentators. “Wow, stop doing it. See how it ended for Ryan (Garcia).
“You are better. Develop, fuck. This is not a way to get strength. Let your significant boxing skills talk.”
Another said: “You are not the face of boxing. You are the face of racism in sport.”
The third said: “What you do is not a good look. There is no need for it. I’m fed up with pranks from you; it’s absurd behavior.”
“You attract bad energy and there will be a price to pay. Collect it.”
Another added: “People understand that there are consequences for their actions and for each action there is a reaction.
“So you can do and say what you want, as long as you are prepared for everyone and everything that is associated with it, the master.”
The last answer was: “When Crawford see you.”
Lopez, associated with Fighting Crawford in Madison Square Garden, before the former super -secondary champion approached the fight with Canelo Alvarez, he still copies in this matter.
You want me from the game, and I try to aid you because I don’t see the competition except myself!
“Takeover” is supposedly threatened with deprivation of WBO title before moving to 147 pounds. However, the perspective of a shot to the title of welterweight in current circumstances seems distant.
His unanimous decision to win over Arnold Barboza Jr., who appeared on the Times Square card released by negative compuboxic statistics, may be the last shot of Lopez in the world championships for some time.
Coming from Las Vegas, he increased to stars through weight and pounds in the pound rankings since his greatest triumph at the highest ranking against Vasiliy Lomachenko at MGM Grand in 2020.
Where the controversial boxer is going, he is on the debate.
