Teofimo Lopez returned to the ring on Friday evening to fight Arnold Barboza in defense of his WBO semi -edited weight title. The throws are scheduled for championship 12, but the location of the match – Smack Dab in the middle of the square – made the fight immediately. However, this would be a action in the ring, would determine how the fight will be remembered. 21-1 Lopez fired crunchy stabs in the first, while 32-0 Barboza was looking for holes. Lopez landed firmly left to his body before the end of Round. Both men traded in the second, though nothing special attention. Lopez gave his shots more effectively in the third.

While Barboza was certainly in battle, in the fourth round it was clear that Lopez had given his man. Lopez took a little in fifth place. However, Barboza has not yet been broken. Indeed, he marked Lopez in the sixth. However, it was not enough to change the course of things, because the seventh barbose hesitated to throw himself again. The truth was that Lopez had a good night for himself. When the eighth went to the ninth, the fight fell into a straightforward pattern of Lopez’s impact without hitting.

When the fight was over, Barboza hesitated, while Lopez basically fired at will. His performance in the ninth round was a master class. Barboza tried to land on Lopez in tenth, but Lopez was able to avoid shots. Lopez still impressed in eleventh. No wonder that the defendant Master traveled through the twelfth and final round. It was a result that Lopez brought a unanimous win in the decision.

Image: From Puerto Rican Pride to 'King of New York': Edgar Berlanga's Shifting Claims Ahead of DAZN PPV Headliner Against Hamzah Sheeraz

Edar Berlanga says that he will “destroy” Hamzah Sheeraz on July 12 and show him that he is “King of Modern York.“Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 KO) was chosen as an opponent of Berlanga (23-1, 18 KO), which headline at DAZN PPV for an event at Central Park in Modern York. This will be the first fight of Sheerase at 168 after his controversial implementation of the 12-round draw WBC Carlos Adames on February 22.

Turki Alalahikh chose an simple for Berlang, instead of forcing him to fire, heading to David Morrell, David Benavidez or Oslyys Iglesias. Berlang’s chance to leave the ring on the legs would be petite in the face of any of these killers.

LANKY 6’3 ″ Sheeraz can hit, but the size of Berlanga’s circuit weight may be too huge for him. Edgar made up to 193 pounds for fighting Canelo Alvarez in September last year. He looked even more on his last fight with Jonathan Gonzalezem-Ortris on March 15.

“King of Modern York”

“Working time. It’s time to go there and show him who the damn man is. I am the king of Modern York,” said Edgar Berlanga Boxing news About his next opponent, Hamzah Sheeraz, from July 12. “I am a beast. Listen, he comes to my city. I ran up and down Central Park. Now my time to shine and time to leave and hurt him.”

So now Berlanga is demanding Modern York? What happened that there is Puerto Rican? Does he just choose different areas based on marketing purposes? He must choose one or the other because he cannot apply for both.

“I’m not going to lie. He is not a warrior I looked at. Do you know what I am saying? It was an opportunity that came. They said,” Do you want to fight Sheeraz? ” I had him on the list of hits and I think he is the perfect opponent for me to perform and go out and look amazing on July 12, “said Edgar.

The two fights that Berlanga wanted to get the Canelo rematch were against Jermall Charlo and Jaime Mungui. Now he has changed his plans a bit because it is Hamzah Sheeraz and Munguia. Canelo will probably ignore Berlanga until he defeats someone good. Munguia has a 2-2 record in its four four fights. How does this make him the key to obtaining a Canelo rematch?

“I have everything, keep it everything. I have power. I have skills. I have the will. I have power. I have everything. Do you know what I say? I have, what you need to stop a man. You have [Jaime] Munguia, “Berlanga said, who he wants when he will face Sheeraz.

Mungia can lose her fight with Bruno Surace today and where will he leave Berlanga? Edgar is trying to take Uncomplicated backdoor path for Canelo rematch. He stopped in his aged ways to take tomato cans and hope that Alvarez would bless him as before, giving him a day of payment.

Gauntlet

If Berlanga wants money money, he has to run through this mini glove and gets it really brisk:

  1. David Benavidez
  2. David Morrell
  3. Oslyys Iglesias
  4. Christian Milli
  5. Caleb plant

If Berlanga quickly crosses these five killers, Canelo will set off immediately. Of course, if it is exhausted, it simply means that the fans were right, that he is the noise of Brooklyn.

Mungia then?

“I want to fight Canelo. I think I deserve the second round. Many people asked for it. Mexicans shout here and say:” We need a second fight. ” But now I have to focus on it [Hamzah]. Dive him, throw him away and destroy him.

“You have Munguia. If he wins tomorrow [against Bruno Surace]This is a fight that, I think, we can happen because I think Canelo is fighting in September. So I think that now I can end the year with another fight. Yes, soon. I intend to fuck him and make him retire – said Berlanga asked if the fans would ever have the opportunity to see how he fights with Caleb Plant.

Romero is telling Ryan Garcia

Recent York, Recent York-Ryan Garcia (24-2, 20 KO) returned to the ring after a year’s suspension against Rolando “Rolly” Romero (17-2, 13 KO), his return did not go as expected. Ryan demonstrated rust and seemed unprepared by the plane.

Romero’s additional strength increased Romero, dropping Garcia in the second round with a double left hook. Ryan started an offensive attack in the match, gradually increasing his production from the first to the second round, throwing 28 blows in this round. When he suffered a knocking out, he seemed shocked, and then changed his approach, limiting the exchange, significantly reducing his production for the next ten rounds.

“Rolly fought for a good fight. He caught me early, without excuses. Congratulations to him. He did a great job and all this,” said Garcia. Romero overtook Garcia, being the most energetic of them, throwing 215 stabs, connecting 39 of them (Compubox). The combined 490 strokes thrown by both warriors are the third lowest blows thrown by Compubox in their 40-year history.

After a unanimous decision victory, Rolly won the WBA welterweight title, placing herself on the winning path. Defeating a celebrated star, such as Ryan, only increases his profile and gives him many fitting options. “They always support. Ryan is a warrior. He got up and ended the fight. I am grateful for this occasion,” said Romero. Transfer to 147 helped him and showed himself in the ring. Ryan hesitated before he felt the power of Rolly. Going forward, we could see the ancient power that he threw his opponents.

In the co–Main Devin party, Haney received Jose Ramirez and, like Garcia-Romero, it was a match of a circumscribed exchange, in which we saw Haney took a very sheltered approach, boxing outside to a full 36-minute match. Connected 503 stamps thrown by both warriors won the fourth place in the Compubox rankings for the smallest blows, just under Garcia-Romero. Registration, fatal organizers of fury did not strive when the event was created. Haney landed Ramirez 70 to 40, landed, giving him a unanimous victory of the decision. It was a very technical match of Haney, which seemed ecstatic to do a minimal job to win the victory. “I felt good in the fight, and the game plan I was working on definitely showed him. I imposed him. He couldn’t do anything there,” said Haney. Earlier he stated that he was going to improve the errors of the fight in Garcia and return to what he is doing best, i.e. the box. This strategy reduces the possibilities of opponents, which hinders landing.

In the triple opener, Teofimo Lopez defeated Arnold Barboza Jr. using a unanimous decision. Lopez demonstrated his agility and elusiveness, remaining beyond the reach of barbose blows. The speed and work of the legs turned out to be tough for Barbozy. “We did our best, but this time we started briefly. Congratulations to Teofimo for a hard-fighting victory. We will take advantage of this experience, learn from it and come back more. The work continues. Maybe we can fight the next Ryan, Haney or anyone who gives us the opportunity,” Barboza said. As for Lopez, in the future there may be a movement to a welterweight, stating that the time has come to make this move. It seems that his view is Jaron Ennis, calling him: “I am an explorer and I am looking for shoes.”
