Haney on Ramirez: “This is his last opportunity” – can the former master prove that he is wrong?
Published

April 21, 2025
Devin Haney admits that he must defeat Jose Ramirez on May 2 to secure the rematch with Ryan Garcia in October. In the terrible round table Fury Times Square Devin (31-0, 15 KO) said that if he did not beat Ramirez (29-2, 18 KO), he would not fight Kingra. Fans can buy live fury on May 2 on DAZN PPV for USD 59.99 Or go to the Package route of May 3 Canelo Alvarez vs. William Scull for 89.99 USD for two events.
Haney says that he must “step on” Ramirez and then go to the rematch with Ryan. He says it’s Ramirez “Last opportunity” for his career. So he will want to win by knowing that this is it. It seems that Devin predicts that this is Ramirez’s last chance because he is in the face of the forgetfulness of his career.
Ugly fight in advance?
There are many doubts as to whether Haney, 26 years senior, is mentally and physically capable of passing through the Ramirez Olympic in 2012 to get a lucrative rematch with Garcia. Of course, Haney thinks about the huge payment he gets if he manages to take a second fight with Ryan.
As you might expect, Devin will make it an ugly fight using an impact and lead approach to win the decision. It will be as he fought with Regis Prograis. He picked up and cast individual shots so as not to be hit.
“My main goal is Ramirez, because if I don’t win this fight, I don’t get to Ryan’s fight,” said Devin Haney Ring magazine. “This is my main goal now.”
Haney has no power or chin to stand and go to the war with the ramist, because the chances are high, which will be dropped two or three times. It would be a repeat of his loss with Ryan.
“I’m blessed The world wants to see me in the ring. This is boxing. What warrior did not shoot huge shots under these lights? In this way you show that you are a real master. You can make a good shot and get up, and this is what I showed – said Haney Cigar conversationResponding to the saying that people have questions about whether they can return from beating against Ryan Garcia.
Fans want to see Haney just because they want to check if there is something of him. There is curiosity about whether he still functions after Ryan defeated daylight in April last year. Many people want to see the rematch to make Kingry put the last stamp on it, ending with Devin’s career with a knockout. People hate Haney for the weakness he showed by initiating the process after humiliating losses.
Strategy “Step On”
“I was not knocked out. People behave as if I stopped me. I haven’t stopped. What I did over the last year is training. This is a fight that everyone wants to see, but it starts with ramirez,” Haney said when he was asked if he wanted a rematch with Garcia.I’m going there and I will come Ramirez, and then we will focus on Ryan.
What does Devin talk about? There is no power to “enter” the former WBC champion and WBO Delicate Welter Waiter weighing Ramirez to get a knockout. Haney has not knocked out anyone for six years since his fight against Zaur Abdullaev in 2019. It was centuries ago. The only thing he can do is give Jose to surrender because he definitely doesn’t reject this guy.
“I know that Ramirez is coming with everything. This is really his last opportunity and he knows that although he may not want to admit it or may not want to say it,” said Haney. “In fact, this is his last opportunity. So I will try to come with everything.
“I will try to come better than against Barboza. He tried [Barthelemy]. I don’t take it lightly. As you can see, I’m here in Gigantic Bear. Everything I do, eat, sleep, pray, boxing, “Haney said.

Ryan Garcia accuses Devin Haney of being too sensitive

Ryan Garcia says that Devin Haney is offended too easily and that his upcoming opponent, Romero, loves his antics.
The Golden Boy star spoke at training before the clash of May 2 with Romero. The couple will collide at the Times Square in Novel York to get a regular WBA title.
The previous fight of Garcia with Haney remains the subject of the conversation, mainly due to the controversy related to the accumulation and the application. Turki Alalshikh is already planning Garcia vs. Haney 2 in October in Saudi Arabia after WBC Super Lightweight Title fought in the absence.
Novel York officials suspended Garcia a year after drug tests during the consequences in positive testing of Ostarin. This week, Nysac restored the former transient ruler of WBC.
Garcia and Haney are coming back to the ring for the first time from the first meeting. Haney is fighting Jose Ramirez on the same Riyadh season card in the United States.
They have to win their duels to set the hit Pay-Per-View rematch in autumn.
Talking to only weeks, Garcia broadcast powerful views of Haney, who threatened to sue him for a battery.
“You must know that Devin is a completely different warrior than Rolando. Rolando would not be offended by fooling around, he would really love it,” Garcia noted.
“This is a completely different situation. I have to be keen all the way. He only throws bombs; that’s all that knows how to throw, so if I’m not astute all the way, I can be caught and this is not something I want to do.
“So for me it’s about the right technique. We worked on it, just a technique, making sure that our hands are coming back, watching what he is doing all the time, and we should do the work.”
Garcia openly confessed to Romero during the previous sparring session. He again turned to the gym collision for the media.
“As it is matured, for me it is only another fight. After the release of the year, it happened Rolando,” said Garcia.
“I really want to just get keen again and prepare for the next fight, but of course I can’t look next to Rolando.
“I will want to shake off the rust and do the right one for the next fight, because a lot to prove to Devin Haney’s rematch.”

When will Errol Spence return to action? Or maybe ready from boxing?

By: Sean Crose
Not so long ago, he was considered one of the best fighters on Earth, an undefeated leave with the power of impact and a mass appeal. Then Terenca Crawford came. Before Errol Spence met Crawford in the ring a few years ago, their fight was basically considered a coin throw, so equally qualified that two men seemed. Then the bell appeared opening their unification of the welterweight title. From there, everything was down Spence. Clearly claiming that he is better than two warriors, Crawford blep his man in one side until he mercifully ended in the ninth round.
After the fight, Crawford reigned as the undisputed welterweight master for a tiny time before he finally moved to the juniors of the average weight. At the moment, it looks like Crawford will face it, and only Canelo Alvarez in a strange, but justified superfigure. And Spence? The syntax Texan has not been evident in the ring since his crushing defeat with Crawford in 2023. It has indeed have passed some time. The question is not even when Spence returns to action, but if it returns to action. In the end almost two years have passed. What’s more, Spence is 35 years venerable, not entirely venerable according to current standards, but there is also no spring chicken.
The truth is that even now returning to the ring will guarantee Spence a lot of attention, as well as a lot of money. After all, there are potential notable opponents. Keith Thurman comes to mind, just like Tim Tsyzyu. However, to face these names, Spence will have to officially come back. There will probably be a melody after returning to the fight, not because you can blame it for it. Provided that he decides to retire, but Spence should not be criticized for her decision.
After all, boxing is a challenging sport, difficult and perilous. And Spence was terribly beaten by Crawford glove. The wars against Kell Brook could also draw consumption from Spence. And then there was a stern accident that almost killed him to take into account. Given everything, Spence had treacherous things – successful but treacherous. Considering this, Spence can still come back. After all, he is a warrior and warriors are fighting. Provided it is in sufficient physical condition to come back, it will be good to see him.
