In April 2024, the newly elevated champion of the world -care IBF Jaron “Boots” Ennis signed a contract with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing. Departing from Philadelphia, he returned to his hometown to defend his world championship title in two separate cases.
In July 2024, Ennis looked very impressive in his debut of the match. He stayed 1:08 to go on the fifth round, Ennis landed on the left side, which caused David Avaneyan to the canvas.

Stanionis was to fight Vergil Ortiz Jr, but the fight was postponed many times. Stanionis finally returned to the square circle in May 2024 and defeated Gabriela Maestre through a unanimous decision.

“Stoppage without a fight”: The perfect boxing technique of Jarona Ennis leads to the transition to the stanionis corners

Paulie Malignaggi was impressed, like a clever IBF, Jaron “Boots” ennis (34-0, 30 kos) on Saturday evening, knocking out the master WBA Eimantas Stanionis (15-1, 9 Kos) in the sixth round in Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, Modern Jersey.
“No fight” KO
Malignaggi points out that the 27 -year -old Ennis got a knockout “without a fight.” He was able to get space through boxing and arrow arrows, they would not be hit. He did not expect the shoes to win this way.
Ennis slowly beat slower, smaller Stanionis for the first five rounds, and then knocked him down at the end of the sixth. After the round ended, Stanionis’s corner decided that he had taken sufficient punishment and did not send him to seventh.
The size also matters
Ennis looked at least 15 pounds heavier than Stanionis tonight. It can be said that he would sensitize the whole group, and this additional size that the shoes had on his frame would be enough to win with it alone. But he also had the advantage of technical skills in his up-to-date style of fighting compared to Primitive rocky Balboa The approach used by Stanionis.
“You forget that Jaron can hurt so well. I think he reminded us of us tonight as he could hurt so well,” said Paulie Malignaggi WarriorResponding to Jaron “Boots” Ennis “he wins over Eimantas Stanionis.” He was detained without a fight. He got a detention, being a really good boxer and Zadeklasowe Stanionis. I did not expect it to come in this way. “
Stanionis made it easier using the elderly rocky style of fighting with a up-to-date boxer today and never worked. Ennis knew that he could Stanionis, so of course he decided to stay in 147 to complete his goal, which is the undisputed champion. He knew that Stanionis was forced for him.
Effortless fight?
“He is an excellent warrior,” said Malignaggi about Ennis shoes. “I think that this performance today over Stanionis, who was a hard guy. Nobody expected it to be so simple. I don’t think Stanionis expected that Ennis would fight like that. Ennis started boxing, changing the range, attracting him with technical capacity of power.”
It seems that Malignaggi never watched some Stanionis fights. If he saw his fight against Radzahab Betaev in 2022, he would know that today’s fight with shoes would be simple for a compatriot from Philadelphia. Betaev wounded Stanionis many times in battle, much more than Ennis tonight, and barely lost 114-113 on the results card of one judges. This was the most precise result of the three for Stanionis-Butaev.
“It was simply:” Let’s develop in the middle ring, in the style of Philadelphia vs. Style of Eastern Europe. ” He thought, “You know what?” He beat him, doing it this way. I think he raises curiosity again.
“He is criticized by some people. When you are an elite athlete, you are criticized everywhere.
