The fall of Deontay Wilder by grace is monumental after 40-0
Published
1 year agoon
Deontay Wilder is still absent from boxing after a six -year fall from Grace Unseen in the heavyweight division.
In 2018, “The Bronze Bomber” was 40-0 with 39 knockouts, compiled one of the most impressive records in the history of paper. However, many could see what happened in the last 69 months from Mili, because Wilder’s CV had significant holes from the very beginning.
Wilder knocked out all his 32 opponents in four rounds, when he first got a shot in the highest division title in 2015. The last of them, Jason Gavern, withdrew on the stool at the end of the session to maintain an intact reference point. It was there that things began badly for Wilder, despite his victory in the world title against Berman Stiverne after Gavern’s triumph.
Alabama Slammer has achieved his final goal, which is the owner of the world title, but many did not know that he would not get Igred Wilder from the date of reading the decision. Wilder knocked out five elementary, challenging, strong opponents to make sure he would get Stiverne again.
“Stiverne asked for it, so he intends to get it,” said Wilder. “Whatever happens, happens.
“Ask and you will receive. I feel relieved of my duties. At least now I will not have to deal with it.
“In the first fight I broke my hand in the third round and still dominated. There were many reasons why she went at a distance. This time there is a different day, a different hour and a different fight. This time it will not end well for him.”
Not so when Wilder blew up Stiverne, shooting three knocking down in a painful victory in the first round. After the arrest of Luis Ortiz, four months later Wilder was at the top of the world in 40-0, but he had many opponents uncertain of his invincibility.
“As Artur Szpilka did it two years earlier, Ortiz proved that Wilder had little more in his cabinet than blurring in one blow. Wilder was on the results of the results against both, until he pulled the hammer blow to pull them out.
Then Tyson Fury came and everything went south. The only victory of the WBC heavyweight champion has since occurred in 177 seconds against Robert Helenius.
Wilder wanted to face Anthony Joshua before the Fury and conducted significant conversations. But when the fight broke up because Joshua took his mandatory, Wilder remained only one option – Fury.
It is well documented that fury has gone significant confusion and could not be in the right mental place. That’s why Wilder took the opportunity. In retrospect, waiting for Joshua could have been a better game when Andy Ruiz Jr knocked out the British only six months later.
Fury won a draw with Wilder in the first fight, which according to many should be a win, but a man who maintained his title most hurt. Wilder was stunned that Fury got up from the last round, which would knock out any other opponent he could face. However, not the Fury who sent Wilder despair because of his album, reading 40-0-1.
Dominic Breazeale felt the burden of this frustration in Novel York five months later, when he was taken in a few seconds. Wilder then repeated his win over Ortiz in an even more destructive way. But three months later a catastrophe hit when Wilder was humiliated by fury in a rematch.
He stopped in seven rounds and was unable to capture the abutment in battle, Wilder developed into personal freedom after his first loss. Public crash lasted 19 months, and finally he could regain fury in the ring. Securing the redemption due to his performance and knocking fury twice more [four in total]Wilder could leave at this moment and in a few years he prepared most of his terrifying reputation.
It didn’t happen. In anticipation of the potential fourth fight with the cart or finally falling Joshua in the ring, Wilder fought, which he never wanted against Joseph Parker. At that time, he only fought for money.
Parker proved that because Wilder could not start by shooting a decision that could be a stop. Then came Zhilei Zhang, another unfathomable choice of opponent of Wilder, who was then knocked to the middle of the following year.
Since then, no one has heard or saw Deontay Wilder publicly when his protected family situation broke up. Coach Malik Scott, whom many believe that he should be released, insists that Wilder Return is for the next round, just like the manager Shelly Finkel, saying only with worldboxingnews.com.
The difference now compared to 40-0, 39 Kos, consists in the fact that the boxers will stand in the queue around the block to be another queue to throw lumps out of the fallen masters.
Blk Prime tried to lure Wilder from his sleep, planning several press conferences to fight in April, even though they were disappointed. The fight in return can still happen, but it is unlikely to be against Anthony Joshua. Manager Shelly Finkel assured worldboxingnews.com that Wilder would not retire. However, Wilder encounters many obstacles to overcome if he ever returns to the ring, which may include his own demons.
The next chapter can be written in the history of the best Tuscaloosa. The problem is that it may not be pretty. 43-4-1 does not have to deteriorate.

Oscar Collazo drops Valdez three times before stopping him in the corner

Oscar Collazo remained undefeated and won the WBO International flyweight title on Saturday night with a devastating two-round victory over Neider Valdez.
The unified WBA, WBO and Ring Magazine minimumweight champion improved to 15-0 with 12 knockouts after defeating Valdez three times before Mexico’s corner stopped the fight at 2:35 of the second round.
Making his final appearance at 112 pounds, Collazo showed his strength immediately transferred to the upper division, defeating Valdez from the opening bell at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.
The Puerto Rican striker repeatedly found a home for his left hand and left no doubt about the outcome before the fight was called off.
“I felt great at 112 pounds. I love this division. In fact, I want to stay here for a long time,” Collazo said.
Knockdowns
Collazo admitted that he had already called for the fight to be stopped.
“After the third knockdown I was basically saying, ‘Never again, never again’. It was the right decision for his safety. His corner was well checked.
The victory added another belt to Collazo’s collection and enhanced his growing reputation as one of boxing’s most invigorating champions in the lower weight division.
Looking ahead, Collazo has made it clear who he wants next.
“The fight with Ricardo Sandoval definitely interests me. I really want that fight. I’m ready for gigantic fights. I’m ready to make history. That’s the fight I want next.”
Sandoval currently holds the WBA flyweight title, making this one of the most attractive fights available if Collazo continues his climb in weight.
The event was broadcast live on DAZN and was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in partnership with Miguel Cotto Promotions.
