Image: "Piece of S*": Bill Haney Rages Against Press Conference Monitor Todd Grisham, Claims Bias Against Devin Haney Ahead of Ramirez Fight

Father Devin Haney, Bill Haney, was furious today, enraged Todd GrishamMonitor of the press conference in Los Angeles, for the lack of Deva in the positive delicate of his fight with Jose Ramirez on May 2 at the Times Square, Recent York.

Grisham’s question

Todd Grisham asked the former WBC champion and WBO Lightweight Welter, weight Ramirez (29-2, 18 KO), if he directed Haney’s chin after Ryan Garcia was dropped several times by Ryan Garcia in his previous fight.

Grisham’s question was logical to ask for a entertaining discussion from Ramirez, which was too polite. Bill thought that the line of questions by Grisham was not designed to make Devin look good.

He wanted Grisham to mention that Haney was the youngest unquestioned champion in a delicate position and that he took 9th place on the updated pound-found-found list. In other words, Bill wanted Grisham to expand Haney’s compliments to look like a heroic and adolescent star.

This is not a grisham style. He is a type that likes to poke a bear to move things, and Ramirez did not say anything compelling. So he tried to tear some rubbish away from him.

“You see in promotion that they always want to separate the Black Father and Warrior,” said Bill Haney Fight Hub tvPaying attention to separation from his son, Devin Haney, during today’s press conference in Los Angeles.

“What you saw is a bull press conference [monitor] Todd Grisham He was one -sided and did not describe Devin as he was supposed to describe [portray] He as the youngest unquestioned master and heritage. #9 on the pounds list for pounds and has a granite chin.

“Have you seen someone get up from Ryan Garcia on the left hook three times from the canvas? This piece ***, Todd Grisham, had to ask about the chin. He had to question the chin. Everything was wrong at a press conference. What they are trying to do is not get a voice that will really say a real one in his corner [i.e., Bill Haney being on stage with Devin].

“They want to separate it and try to destroy the brand, and it will not work. On May 2, Devin intends to move the belt to ** Jose Ramirez and I guarantee you this, “Bill said.

Jake Paul Bets on Doumbés Retirement: A Bold Move in Boxing

"Jake Paul Bets on Doumbé's Retirement: A Bold Move in Boxing"

Jake Paul putting his career on the line against Cédric Doumbé tells you everything about how little danger he sees coming back at him. Paul claims he will retire if Doumbé pulls off the upset on Christmas Eve in Dubai, though anyone who follows combat sports knows retirement often just means a paid vacation.

“If he wins, I will hang up the gloves and call it a day,” Paul announced while promoting the eight-round cruiserweight bout. He promised a knockout too, which is quite the claim for someone returning from a broken jaw after Anthony Joshua stopped him in six rounds last December.

Paul brings 14 pro bouts into the ring against Doumbé’s single appearance. The French striker captured two kickboxing world titles and collected 45 knockouts in that arena. He certainly knows how to land devastating punches. Paul simply figures that stripping away Doumbé’s kicking game removes the setup that makes those strikes lethal.

That makes plenty of sense for a return bout. Paul built his entire run by taking combat athletes out of their primary disciplines, hyping their resumes, then forcing them into traditional boxing rules. The retirement angle is just his latest pitch to convince fans the outcome carries real finality.

Doumbé does not even need a knockout to expose the cracks. Slipping shots, landing clean counters, and dragging Paul into deep waters will quickly reveal the lingering toll of a year-long layoff and facial surgery. Paul expects his ring craft to settle matters before those questions get asked.

A Doumbé victory would give social media plenty to chew on over the holidays. Even so, hand Paul several months of rest and the right payday, and boxing will see exactly how long that retirement lasts.

Promising retirement is the oldest trick in the fight game to inject drama into a matchup that lacks real sporting legitimacy. It turns what should be an ordinary matchmaking exercise into a make-or-break event, giving casual viewers a reason to tune in just to see if the loudmouth finally gets silenced for good.

If Doumbé catches him or puts him away, Paul might step back for a while to let the dust settle and let his jaw heal further, but walking away entirely makes no financial sense. Paul runs Most Valuable Promotions, controls his own dates, and draws massive paydays regardless of whether he wins or loses. The loss to Tommy Fury did not slow down his business, and getting stopped by Anthony Joshua did not keep him away either.

The minute someone dangles an enticing name or a massive check in front of him, that retirement pledge will be forgotten overnight. He is selling a spectacle, and the bet is just part of the sales pitch.

"Naoya Inoue Receives Title Shot Opportunity in New Division After Champion's Fifth Consecutive Stoppage"

Naoya Inoue is eyeing up a move into the featherweight division, with each of the reigning 126lb champions seemingly keen to secure a lucrative shot at the pound-for-pound king. Now, after scoring a fifth consecutive win inside of the distance, one featherweight ruler has publicly called for a clash with the Japanese sensation.

Inoue has issued a March deadline to Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez as hype around their potential match-up continues to first build and then be dampened by a possible collapse, as Rodriguez toys with the idea of remaining at bantamweight or challenging for the undisputed super-bantamweight throne.

Regardless, it is believed that Inoue will make his move into the featherweight division next year, with current world champions; Angelo Leo (IBF), Bruce Carrington (WBC), Brandon Figueroa (WBA) and Rafael Espinoza (WBO), each jostling to be selected as the man that Inoue wishes to challenge.

On Saturday, Espinoza managed a fifth straight knockout win in as many outings since becoming a world champion and during the aftermath of his victory over Ricardo Blandon, ‘Divino’ unveiled his plans to either unify or take on Inoue, on the DAZN broadcast.

“The truth is, I want to unify. I want a unification fight. I want to be able to say I’m the best featherweight, and also wait for that big fight with Inoue. That would be a dream. My biggest dream is to become one of the pound-for-pound best. That’s what I want, and that’s what I’m going to pursue.”

Inoue’s move to featherweight hinges on Rodriguez’s next move, but it is expected that the pair will collide in Marchbefore the Japanese superstar ventures up to what he has declared will be the highest and final weight-class of his career.

"Terence Crawford's Interim Champion Eyes Canelo Showdown After Mbilli Victory"

Canelo Alvarez got his hands on the WBC super-middleweight title once again as he dethroned Christian Mbilli on Saturday night, and now the reigning WBC Interim champion has revealed his keenness to take on the Mexican superstar.

Alvarez lost his undisputed title to Terence Crawford last September, whilst Christian Mbilli defended his WBC Interim title in a draw against Lester Martinez in the co-main event.

When Crawford retired from the sport and relinquished his titles, Mbilli was elevated to full world champion and an immediate target was placed on his back, with Canelo eager to regain his title – which he did with a unanimous decision win on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Martinez – who is trained by Crawford coach Brian McIntyre and has sparred the pound-for-pound great on many occasions – has since been named as the WBC Interim champion and has defended that belt with triumphs over Immanuwel Aleem and Luka Plantic during 2026.

Following Canelo’s win over Mbilli, Martinez told Izquierdazo Boxeo that it is his ‘dream’ to take on the four-division world champion in a bid for the full WBC super-middleweight crown.

“My dream now is to fight Canelo because he is the champion.”

Alvarez is believed to have one fight left on his deal with Riyadh Season and is already being linked to a return to action in the spring.

Whilst Martinez will hope to soon be mandated as Alvarez’s opponent, David Benavidez famously had no such luck when pursuing a showdown with Canelo whilst he reigned as the WBC Interim titleholder.

Instead, Canelo is hoping to secure a mammoth rematch with Crawforddespite the American’s retirement.
