Crawford: Benavidez Canelo, leaving the embroidered in “Mexican”, not boxing skills

Image: Crawford: Canelo's Benavidez Avoidance Rooted in 'Mexican' Disrespect, Not Boxing Skill

Terenka Crawford does not believe that Canelo Alvarez has avoided fighting David Benavidez for many years, like many fans. Crawford (41-0, 31 KO) says that Alvarez decided not to fight Benavidez because he was “Additional disrespect“He was guided by him.

Terenka notes that Canelo (62-2-2, 39 KO) fought other fighters who did not respect him, but took him more personally, because Benavidez is a “Mexican” and went a little further with his biting comments. In fact, he is not a Mexican. Benavidez is American and has in the middle of Ecuador and half of Mexican roots. It does not come from Mexico.

Avoiding Benavidez

Fans do not buy this excuse, why Canelo did not fight Benavidez. They just see it as Alvarez, not wanting to fight someone who probably defeated him and probably knocked out. This is the same reason why Canelo decided to fight Dmitry Bivol, when he went to 175 three years ago than Artur Beterbavied, when he fought for the world championship title in 2022.

It is not a shock that Crawford paints a positive picture, why Canelo did not fight Benavidez, because he is queuing to face him on September 13. The last thing Crawford needs is to enter the wrong side of Canelo and let him decide not to fight him. This is the money from the pension that Crawford receives for this fight. It would be captivating if Terenka began the bad guesthouse Canelo, saying that it is so, and then stubbornly refuses to fight him in September. Where would Crawford go?

“Looking at the story of Canelo, about all the respected warriors, calling him, there were a lot of them. He fought everyone with them. From Shane Mosley to Lara, Danny Jacobs and Saunders – said Terenka Crawford to Ring magazine About previous opponents of Canelo Alvarez.

“When you look at all fighters who did not respect Canelo and still fought them. I think that from a Mexican point of view, when you have two Mexicans and one is extremely respectful for the other, he just took it more personally in the aspect of the race than sport, “said Crawford about why he thinks Canelo decided not to fight Benavidez.

“He took a sport from it and decided that he would not give Benavidez a payment, which he wanted only because he felt something different at that moment,” said Crawford.

Hackett theory: Did Peds change Ryan Garcia from “Furious Tiger” against Haney to “Starned Housecat” against Romero?

Image: Hackett's Theory: Did PEDs Turn Ryan Garcia from 'Angry Tiger' Against Haney to 'Scared Housecat' Against Romero?

Coach Greg Hackett suspects that Ryan Garcia looked so indigent from his loss with Rolando Romero last Friday evening because he was not on “Ostarine”. Hackett says that without this PED in the Garcia system he returned to his “Natural me“Which he calls “Housecat.Garcia looked like a terrified Romero after dropping and never seemed to regain confidence after this episode.

Rolly (17-2, 13 KO) defeated Garcia (24-2, 20 KO) by a 12-round unanimous decision in a welterweight competition in their head in the Times Square in Fresh York. Ryan used Romero, 29 years senior as an opponent of tuning to prepare him for a rematch with Devin Haney in October. Fans saw how Garcia-Romero fights as an exaggerated conclusion that Ryan would easily win.

“Terrified all the time”

The failure could deraise the rematch plans between Garcia and Haney. Turki Alalshikh did not say if he would go to the fight for October. As for only mindless junk entertainment, it may as well go on the fight.

Nothing changes. This fight would always be a duel at the level of celebrities between warriors who are not able to win world titles at level 147. Only a few fighters were well suited by the whole career and sold by promoters.

“Ryan was terrified all the time, especially after he was caught. After he returned, he still informed Rolly,” I’m still here, but I’m not going to do too much, “said coach Greg Hackett to do it Sports media YSM About Ryan Garcia in his defeat with Rolando Romero last Friday evening at Times Square. “He [Garcia] He was not sure, because every time he fired to the right, Rolly went beyond the reach and did not let him remove this right hand. “

Garcia looked very afraid of throwing blows after he was knocked down with a double left hook from Rolando in the second round. This knocking down weakened the whole fight with Ryan, leaving a terrifying warrior, whose fans saw for the rest of the 12-round competition. He looked like he saw the ghost. The point is that Rolly did not start to be sure until the second half of the fight. When he saw that Ryan did not throw, he began to walk, loading individual arrows and stabs.

“You can say that Rolly is sturdy as a hell mother. Stay. I’m moving too rapid,” said Hackett. “Ostarina, Honey. He wasn’t there… it was the same behavior of Ryan of his entire camp [for Devin Haney fight]Hackett said, comparing the furious, demolished behavior of Ryan Garcia in leading to the fight with Haney with the film figure of a footballer who was on Ped and acting Berserk.

Ryana beds and the level of aggression were different in the case of Rolly fight compared to the Haney fight last year. He looked more muscular against Devin, and that night he was like a cage, a furious tiger in the ring. Garcia followed Haney, not showing respect for his blows and shot with a 100% full power. Haney was as afraid of Ryan as Rolly.

“Go there with Devin Haney, he tried to take off his head. He did not care what his path is coming. His level of certainty was through the roof. Where was another night? We did not see it,” said Hackett about Ryan Garcia, who did not have the same aggression against Rolly that in the fight with Haney.

Even in the first round, Ryan did not look aggressive and seemed to worry about Romero’s power. A few Rolls landed in a round, Garcia warned him about mixing him with him. He felt his power and realized that he was a different animal than what he fought in the past at the age of 135.

“Natural self” exposed?

“The same guy we saw with the frame and everyone. We didn’t see it,” said Hackett. “Do you have so much respect for the roll? No. [Kingry] Natural I is home. He is. His natural self is not a guy who says: “What the fuck. What the fuck is he thinking? Let me take me away. [Trainer] Derek James is on his fingers, shouting. “Come, honey. Lift it. You have to give me something. We’re in the last three rounds. You have to do it. He said,” Find something. ” He wouldn’t do it because we have too many businessmen and insufficient number of fighters. “

The Ryan version, which we saw against Haney, may never exist again. It was a occasional one -time performance because he never looked so impressive in any of his fights. Garcia was like Superman tonight. Now he returned to his ex -self and is not prepared to deal with a welterweight with power.

Unless something changes with Ryan, his career is over. He should fight for payment in Haney and consider retiring if he loses. If the victory, direct the rematch from Gervont Davis to get another gigantic payment day that will lend a hand relieve his retirement years.

“As long as these [boxers] They are tested and stay away from drugs that improve performance, we will have such fights. We will start to see who is a real dog, ‘said Hackett.

About the last weekend Boxinginsider.com Promotions

Published

on

By: Sean Crose

If you follow boxing, you certainly know that last weekend it turned out to a gigantic extent. Ryan Garcia was dropped by Romero, and then allowed Romero to travel to the decision. It was great nervousness, but many fans were disappointed. However, Devin Haney, shocking, managed to act less impressive than Garcia. Fighting with Jose Ramirez, he looked almost as if Haney was trying to imitate Muhammad Ali in the Fleet Ali best. The difference was that Ali broke up when he bounced around the ring. Haney seemed unaware of this fact. Sure, the former delicate king won the fight, but apparently he didn’t get up-to-date fans.

All this fell on Times Square on Friday, a well -intended choice of place that turned out to be awkward. The next night, in Saudi Arabia, Canelo Alvarez faced an unclear letter named William Scull, a man who also jumped, refusing to throw. As mentioned, Scull seemed quite satisfied with his performance. Again, however, it was like Ali rising like a butterfly, refusing to sting like a bee. Some felt Scull should win because Canelo did not cope well with him. Scull was an opponent for everyone because he barely did nothing effectively. Avoiding an opponent and running from one are two separate things, that’s why Canelo won from judges. Scull either did not realize it or he did not care.

Fortunately, Nayya Inoue and Ramon Cardenes stopped the weekend from a total misfire, going on a Sunday evening at the Vegas war. Cardenes dropped Inoue early and then gave the man a real fight. Robust Inoue rose to this occasion after the arising of the mat, ultimately winning the war for exhaustion with space. Unfortunately, Inoue and Cardenes (along with the addition of Teofimo Lopez, who looked great on Times Square on Friday) were an exception last weekend, not the rules. Looking objectively at Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it is worth asking what went wrong. In the case of this answer, look for Garcia, Haney, Scull and Canelo answers. People can blame Al-Sheikh Turks for Friday’s failure, but the truth is that he is guilty of placing a great card in the wrong place on Friday. It was not his fault Canelo and Haney’s wines that decided to achieve worse results. Or that Canelo couldn’t stop Scull.

So why did these valued professionals not achieve worse results? Haney criticizes, but the truth is that he was beaten so much by (intentionally or not) Garcia a year ago that he lost his confidence and is probably shy. Let’s hope it warms up to fight. Garcia is a more sophisticated matter. He has long suffered from the problems with the ring, so it certainly could have had something to do with the loss of Romero. On the other hand, the fight in purity could also have something to do with failure. Either way, there is no sugar coating that it has a bit to do if he wants to return to the ring. As for Scull, people say that he was not interested in fighting. I think he felt he was fighting. However, this is him and his team. Perhaps, if he threw more, things would go differently.

Which leads us to Canelo. The truth is that it is hard to face a man who does not want to fight. As for people who think that the younger version of Canelo would achieve better results, they may be right. However, no one can overcome his father’s time and can be a episode calling a slothful warrior. Now, when in September he is to fight with Terenka Crawford, Canelo will want to look better than on Saturday evening in Vegas. Undoubtedly, Crawford will be prepared – and will not run on the ring either.

When he perceived as a whole, it seems that the last weekend was “one of these things.” What if it is not? What if there were more than fighters just with bad nights at the same time? Haney is 26 years elderly. Like Garcia. Is it possible that the argument that people throw is true – that younger warriors do not have a heart today – that when things go south, they fall apart? It can be, but it is quite an accusation. Again, this may be true, but it is also worth remembering that Garcia and Haney could bring additional luggage to the ring on Friday. Let’s not forget that 29 -year -old Cardenas fought on Sunday like a warrior. We will need more evidence before we reject a whole generation of talented fighters. At the moment, however, the future may not look so brilliant in some star attractions than a week ago.
