Boxing results: Quartermaine and Bateson in Blood Bath Headliner
Published
2 months agoon

The headline of the final GBM card from 2024 may be the main attack of the first GBM card from 2025, when the blood soaked with blood, the main fight between Danny’s Quartermaine and Jacek Bateson ended with the detention of a doctor in the second round due to stern cuts kept by both warriors.
It seemed that the accidental collision of heads caused most of the damage, opening a deep cut of Bateson’s scalp and a gigantic wound above the left eye of Quartermaine. Judge Howard Foster’s shirt told a story in a visual form, richly decorated with splashes and patches in just moments.
There was not much to take from two rounds of the fight, except for noting that two warriors were tightly matched and appeared at a classic meeting. The resulting technical draw means that Quartermaine retains its IBF and WBO Super-Feather in weight and put them on the line in an inevitable rematch next year.
“We have to see it again. In the recent year we will receive this fight. I know how much they wanted it. I am gutted for boys, but these things happen, this is the nature of boxing. It was a great competition. We will see them again in the ring in 2025, and in the meantime I am glad that both warriors are returning safely to their families for Christmas, “said Izzy Asif, GBM promoter.
Quartermaine said: “Of course, we didn’t plan to see this fight, but these things happen and we’ll do it in the recent year.”
His comment was repeated by Bateson. The Leeds man proposed “devastated” and said: “We will do it again. All respect for Danny, but we now have unfinished business and we are settling it in the recent year. “
Then Bateson invited Quartermaine to “shake” the contract, touching the gloves, which MAN Leamington Spa did, making a rematch at least partly, until recent documents can be introduced to the second showdown.
Incorrect, main support of the evening between Levi Giles and Qais Ashfaq also ended in a draw. Ten rounds there and back went to a crazy pace and drawn comments from both fans and experts.
“I have the impression that I am watching the British fight for the title,” said the venerable commentator Adam Smith for the Super-Feather Commonweight Community Commonwealth.
With the title of Commonwealth on the line, both men gave their best. The constant pressure on the side of Giles met with a stunning box at the back and move with Ashfaq, and both men fired well in the first half of the fight.
In the sixth verse, Ashfaq began to tardy down, the needle on his gasoline tank dropped noticeably, while Giles still looked fresh. Ashfaq boxed clever for the next few rounds, remaining elusive under the pressure forward Giles, while he fell ill with energy. In the last round he landed as well as he had, although on the way he suffered weighty blows and rainfall.
Giles looked like he won, but the judges even saw things, making the decision of the draw on 95-95.
The main card was also a super-medium weight of Taz Nadadeem with the Mexican horse Fernando Valencia in a comprehensive competition. Early strokes of Nadeema threatened with a quick end, but Valencia fiercely fought, trading his feet to his heads to four penalty rounds before the dominant Nadeem appeared with the win.
“He is the most unsafe four-shaped warrior on the planet,” said his promoter Asif. “Mexican fighters are notoriously solid, and Valencia took a stern punishment there, but I am glad that this fight went on a distance and gave Taza additional rounds of experience.”
Also on the main card, Kieran Molloy won a unilateral victory over the experienced Robin Zamor, passing and straightening at an elegant exhibition within eight rounds to emphasize the skills that made him one of the most talked prospects on the Irish circuit.
Amaar Akbar was unlucky so as not to stop Mikhala Sovtus in his six -hard fight. Raw Ukrainian eaten huge shots throughout the fight, including one substantial right hand, which turned her head strongly, but still approaches and refused to put away, ultimately losing points.
Nyall Berry opened the main card in a entertaining fight with Tampel Maharusi from Tanzania, Battwa forward and back finally win 58-56 in favor of Berry.
Undercard
The popular perspective of Leicester Muhammed Ali had to fight the burned Yin Caundo, who traveled from Spain fully turned into the annoyance of the favorite of the house. Ali suffered a cut on the right eye in the second round, giving Kacienda the taste of blood, but it was the peak of the Spanish success in a entertaining scrap, which Ali won comfortably.
Undercard opened when the promising adolescent perspective of Calvin Moyo debuts in four rounds against veteran of the journeyman Paul Scaife, Moyo conveniently dominated in all four rounds on his way to a unanimous decision to start a professional journey.
Undercard ended with a gigantic TKO finish from the growing welterweight Ed Hardy, who performed before the end of the Night of Sean Jackson in the third round.

Amir Khan gave World Boxing News an exclusive interview about his views on the recent Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn Fight.
The former world champion in two importance was impressed by the competition with Fight of the Year, which took place on April 26 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London.
Eubank Jr. And Benn defeated each other years after years of hostility, expanding the heritage initiated by their fathers, Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn.
Khan watched Eubank and Benn gave all twelve rounds before 65,000 fans in Great Britain in medium weight.
Eubank won a unanimous decision to make three fights without a victory for the Benn family.
Asked about the thoughts of the battle, Khan said worldboxingnews.com: “What is this a huge fight. I think that boxing needs.
“I was very content that this was such a fight. Both warriors performed great, but Benn shocked me the most.
“I think it is complex to beat him if he continues to perform in such performances. Nobody expected it and surprised everyone.”
WBN told Khan that the contracted rehydration clause Eubank equalized the fight for a welterweight. The man from Bolton agreed, but says that such details do not matter when the fight is so good.
“Let’s be candid, nobody thought it would be such a fight. A great respect for both warriors. What a fight was, everyone was on the verge of their sitting.
“I loved everything,” said the 38-year-old.
“I think that Eubank definitely exhausted him, a great time. He was not the same warrior we saw, but if he was, maybe it wasn’t the same fight. And what a fight it was.
“Nobody really cares for the weight when you see such a fight. It was good for boxing, especially in Great Britain, because the last few programs were not the best.
Competition Eubank Jr vs. Benn will continue this fall by a rematch, which promises to be the biggest fight in Great Britain in the latest memory.
As both men met earlier, the accumulation will be less heated, because warriors strive to prove their inflammation in the ring.
They will meet on the same conditions on the average weight limit, and 28-year-old Benn had an advantage over age over 35-year-old Eubank.
