Jaime Mungia suffered a knockout on Saturday evening on Saturday evening only seven months after losing to Canelo Alvarez.
The Mexican star, which had 43-0, when he took Canelo in May, fell to 44-2 after a bruise defeat from Bruno Surace in Estadio Caliente in the hometown of Munguia in Tijuana in Mexico.
Surace stunned the world of boxing. The Frenchman went on the road and knocked out Jaime Munguia with his right hand in the sixth round of the fight for a super medium weight.
In the noiseless round of opening Munguia, she gave the house a crowd something to support in the second, breaking Surace with a left hook to the chin. Surace, who improved to 26-0-2, 5 KO, is not a known blow. He survived the round, but his tendency to bend over the ropes was provided by Mungui inviting the goal.
In the sixth Munguia she offered Surace, the more encouraging the target, leaning with her hands. And Surace provided his right hand of his life. Munguia tried to reach her feet bravely, but he couldn’t continue.
With one magical blow, Surace was the author of nervousness over the centuries.
“I know he is a great boxer. So we worked on our strokes, “said Surace. “He is a real warrior. I want to thank him for the opportunity. It was a great experience for me. The average weight is my real weight class. But we’ll see if it can happen. “
Based on the feather card, Alan David Picasso improved to 31-0-1, 17 KO, by stopping the third round over Yehison Cuello. Picasso, associated with Nayya Inoue next year, presses the champion’s title.
Jorge Garcia now has 32-4, 26 KO in Super intrareight, thanks to the unanimous decision about Kudratillo Abdukakhorov. The results read 97-92 and 99-90 twice after ten rounds.
In Super Bantamweight Division, Sebastian Hernandez made seventeen knockouts of excellent 18 wins with the seventh round Sergio Martin Sosy.

Mike Tyson is crying when Sugar Ray Leonard discusses abuse
Published

April 2, 2025
Mike Tyson is not known for public emotions, but it happened when he interviewed another legend of Sugar Ray Leonard.
It was a key moment in the era of Podcast show, because Leonard played in the Hotboxin ‘with Mike Tyson episode.
Two Hall of Famers – probably the best of their first term – spoke opening within 85 minutes and 53 seconds of pure gold for each boxing fan.
During the interview, Leonard and Tyson were completely freely with each other because respect is emitted from their bodies during the recording.
The culmination was a tiny extract from Tyson, which immediately attracts attention all over the world.
“Boxing gave me so much, ancient,” said Sugar Ray for a bad man on a planet about 7:30 seconds. “And I know it sounds minor, but you know what, I don’t care.
“I am who I am because of boxing. I am here, doing this interview with you, Mike, because of boxing.
“There were times when it happened to me that – WOW I had to deal with. To be sexual abuse by the trainer in which I believed, which I trusted.
“I don’t know why I moved it. But I’m glad that I was able to move it. Because Mike, I love you, ancient.
“We are going through battles in the ring. When I give speeches, I exploit boxing as a metaphor, because we are fighters outside the ring. We are fallen and we need a great bend. We need to do our own version of road works.
“And you know, I like to do it, because at the beginning I would pour out tears during the day – years ago. I would cry because I couldn’t talk about it. These topics. But I can talk about them because of where I am and who I am.”
Mike Tyson and Sugar Ray Leonard
At this point, Mike asks the co -host and former American footballer Eden Britton to enter and fill the time in which he composes.
Tyson finally returned to the conversation a few minutes later with one of the most powerful statements he had ever made.
Earlier, Leonard was still open honestly when Tyson clearly wiped tears from his eyes.
“I was in brutal sport for forty years, and the output a bit unscathed is really a dream come true, blessing.
“I did all these cocaine things and I am an alcoholic that I would never say because I tried to take care of myself and be a publicist. But I am talking about these things because you know why? – aid other people aid other people.”
Ray mentioned his book as Eden, and then brought Mike.
He choked and said: “It’s lovely that you came to this place in your life. And we all come to this place in life. I think it is somehow related to our mortality.
“Do we really believe that we will see God after death?” And will it be okay with what he saw in my life?
“I know that sometimes it’s a bit n **** bull **** but when I see you, I don’t see it.
Inspiration
“I saw you when I was 12. I saw you fight Wilfred Benitez. But I was closed. What was it in 1979? [Leonard agreed, yes].
“So I’m closed in minors [detention]. I watch the fight. You fight the master and nobody said anything.
“He was a world champion at the age of 17. Not an amateur, a professional. Now he is 21 years ancient, fighting with you. I can’t even speak.”
Leonard, who fought with Marvin Hagler and Thomas Hearns, shows Mike Love again before Tyson: “No, you inspired me so damn, n ****.
“Then I saw how you fight Duran. It changed my life. I thought,” I will be like that! “
“You may not think you are nobody, I love you. You changed my life because you are so lovely. And you don’t even understand, man. You are immortal to me.
“I am in love with fight. It was for me that she did,” he added, pointing to the studio and the surroundings.
“This is my s ***. You are on my program, n ****. I worshiped you.”
A brief conversation about the beauty of mastery of a knockout blow led Tyson to what will become one of his most notable quotes.
“I am a war student,” he noted. “I know all the warriors, from the rifle to Achilles. Number one warrior of all warriors – and then Alexander and Napoleon. But I know them all.
“I hate this guy”
“I read everyone about them. I studied them all. I know the martial art. I know the art of war. That’s all I have ever studied.
“That’s why I’m afraid. But that’s why they were afraid when I was in the ring. I was an Anahilator. That’s all I was born for.
“Now these days have disappeared. It is empty. I am nothing. I am working on art humble.
“That’s why I’m crying because I’m not the person anymore and I miss him.
“Because sometimes I feel like AB *** H. I don’t want this person to leave because hell comes with him if he comes out.”
Eden, of course, surprised by what he heard, a nervous smile – before Tyson said: “And it’s not fun at all. I sound chilly as if I’m a tough guy, but I hate this guy. I’m afraid of him.
Leonard then tried to give Mike more time to meet and spoke about his regret after his wild days [biting Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis].
“I became a better father, a better husband and a better friend. Life is really what you do.”
Tyson apologized for his emotions when the camera changed to show them.
“I’m sorry, but it’s lovely. He will present me.”

“So when I had a chance to face Diego Corrales at this particular time, he was invincible. He was a killer in boxing.
“And why this fight meant so much to me, because at this particular time I had a contract with HBO and they wanted me to sign a contract with HBO with HBO. Like a man, I wanted to express my opinion about the contract, and they were not satisfied that I expressed my opinion about the contract.
“So they said that we would take the contract out of the table, and whoever wins the fight with me, and Diego Corrales would get a contract with HBO.
“So we finished fighting, and he is a hellish warrior at six feet and 130 pounds. He is a massive blow. We both had a few knockouts at this particular time and tailored. “It was a great moment for me, for me to go there and win on my pitch and beat him for the title in front of the fans. Let him rest in peace, and maybe Diego Corrales rests in the room, because both fighters are no longer with us, but we will always love these warriors.
