“It seems to me that there was a dispute about payments” – coach Xtreme Couture reveals an internal dispute between Sean Strickland and Erik Nicksick.

The drama broke out later Sean StricklandCoach, Eric Nicksick, criticized the performance of the former master against Dricus du Plyming On UFC 312. Justin Jaynes, who is one of the valued trainers in Xtreme Couture, reveals that the dispute works deeper than what we initially perceived.
What happened between Sean Stickland and his coach Eric Nicksick?
After the star performance of Sean Strickland against Dricus du Plessis in their first fight on UFC 297 people believed that “Tarzan” would be more than ready to recover the belt of the championship in the rematch. However, in the main event UFC 312The Strickland approach fell particularly miniature, which led to many doubts whether he really wanted to regain his title.
Du Plessis looked like a million bucks, but Strickland seemed to be a part of his strategy. Strickland corner, especially his trainer Eric Nicksick, persistently urged him to enhance the volume and intensity of his strikes, but he looked very confused in the octopus.
Coach Strickland, Eric Nicksick, was not ecstatic with the show Strickland and in Ariel Helwani, he said – he said –
“I think he must assess what he wants to do in this sport. If it’s just earning money, it’s great. Let us know. I want to train world champions, so my motivations are different. So I think that just showing and doing it, and not really supporting it, was a bit inspiring for me. ”
Strickland and Nicksick developed a relationship that goes beyond the trainer and warrior. They were friends, and the former middleweight master still considers Nicksick a friend, but Strickland will probably not have Nicksick in his corner during future fights.

“I like Eric. He is my friend. He will still be my friend. Will it probably be in my corner? Probably not. We have so many great guys in Xtreme. We have so many savages who can turn me on. But the whole fight camp was only a fight. It was AF*and we all have excuses why we didn’t win or why we won or we should not win. We all fucking have excuses and they don’t matter. ”
Justin Jaynes reveals the payment dispute between Eric Nicksick and Sean Stickland.
Justin Jaynes is an MMA warrior and a coach at Xtreme Couture. According to Jaynes, he knew Nicksick for over 15 years and considers him a personal friend who also suffered him too many fights.
After a miniature review of their relationship, Jaynes said that he was surprised by public criticism of Nicksick towards Sean Stickland’s performance. He revealed the moment when Nicksick sent him an emotional film after Strickland defeated Israel Adesanya to become a middleweight champion. Now Jaynes is surprising that Nicksick finished 180 after two failures Strickland with DDP. Jaynes thinks that coach Sean Stickland, Eric Nicksick, abandoned him.
In an interview with TensevenmmaJaynes said –
“It just surprised me and a bit strange. There must be something between the lines, and then Eric talks about how he can reduce bonds with Sean, and I being a warrior, in my career there were points where friends, fans lose and abandoned me. You win in MMA, everyone wins, your trainers win, your fans win, your friends win. But when you lose, you lose yourself. ”
“I saw the movie Eric, who talked about Sean’s performance, said that he did not want to train him anymore, I felt that Eric basically abandoned him, and that really hit me in nerves.”
Jaynes also sent a video on his Instagram Sharing your thoughts on this subject, expressing that he disagrees with the hatred of Strickland from people. Although Nicksicka does not slander, he also does not agree that he abandoned his warrior in the low phase of his career.
He then explains that during the 15-minute phone Eric Nicksick told him some internal information related to the transaction problem between him and Stickland.
“When entering this fight, they talked for payments. How much he deserved to pay, how much Sean wanted to pay and offered to pay. It seems to me that there were some payments along the line. Again, I hope that Eric will get to the series, and he can explain deeper because he did not come out in public and talked about it. ”

On Saturday night, Petr Yan will put his UFC bantamweight championship on the line when he goes up against Merab Dvalishvili, the same man he beat for the belt last year, in the third and potentially final fight in their series.

Dvalishvili won the first bout before Petr Yan came back and improved dramatically to win the rematch. At this point, it's hard to say which way it's going to swing given how talented both fighters are.
In a recent interview, however, TJ Dillashaw had some interesting views on Petr Yan vs Merab Dvalishvili 3.

“I just think that Yan really had the answers. Yan looked fantastic. Takedown defense was amazing and a guy that fights like Merab, looking for those takedowns, that's his path to victory just relentlessly grinding and getting those takedowns. If he can't get you down and it's failed shot after failed shot, then his gas tank is never going to be as good as the guy defending shots, even if you are the more in-shape fighter. We'll see if four fights in one year had a factor, but I think Yan just has the game plan and looked really good.â€
“I am leaning towards Yan. Tough fight. It really is. I think he had all the answers, and that confidence builds. He's had some losses, but those losses were (weird). His losses are minuscule losses, and then that last fight, I think just builds so much confidence that he has what it takes. The answer for Merab, the cardio for Merab. I'm leaning towards Yan, but I think it's going to be a banger of a fight again. Merab is never going to stop and you have to beat the bricks off him to win.â€
