Early in the second round, Adames landed a double right hand to the chin, which resulted in Williams receiving an eight count from referee Christopher Newborn. Williams recovered in the third round, although he still lost it. In the fourth and fifth rounds, Adames controlled the action and landed heavier shots.
In the sixth round, both fighters combined, but Adames again hurt Williams with a right hand to the chin. In the seventh set, Williams missed more than he landed, while Adames continued to take the rounds.
Williams had better moments in the ninth and tenth, although he was bleeding from the mouth and nose. In the eleventh set, Adames knocked out Williams’ mouthpiece with his right hand and tried to press for the finish, but Williams held on.
In the twelfth and final round, referee Newborn deducted a point from Adames for a second low blow. Adames still had the advantage in the closing moments.
The scores were 118–108, 117–109 and 117–109.
Lightweight southpaw Jaycob “Baki” Gomez (14-1-1 (8) lost to Corey “Top Silky” Markman 13-0-1 (9) by 10-round decision.
In the second round, Markman landed a solid right hand to the chin. Gomez had moments with the right cross, and each player had success stretching. In the fourth, Gomez began bleeding from the mouth as Markman landed heavier punches.
Gomez made a forceful comeback in the sixth period after a forceful round that saw the two trading punches from close range. The eighth round was one of the better ones of the fight as Gomez did well early on before Markman hurt him with a right hand towards the end.
In the tenth and final round, Gomez fought furiously, knowing he might need a break. The two exchanged blows in the dynamic finish.
The scores were 98-92 and 96-94 twice. Referee: Luis Pabon.
In the co-main event, 2024 Olympic super welterweight bronze medalist Omari “Banger” Jones (6-0 (4)) defeated Christian “Ninote” Gomez (23-7-1 (21)) by eight-round decision.
Jones used his jab and followed the body with his right hand in the opening rounds, taking control early. Gomez had a moment in the fifth throw when he landed a right hand, but Jones continued to pass him in the sixth and seventh.
In the eighth and final round, Jones stayed on the move and finished the fight without taking any risks.
The scores of all three cards were 80-72. Referee: Massimo Montanini.
2024 heavyweight Olympian Teremoana Teremoana, 10-0 (10), knocked out Curtis “The Hurt” Harper, 19-12 (13), at 2:59 of the first round of the scheduled eight.
Teremoana used his jab early, while Harper missed with a right overhand against a taller opponent. In the final seconds of the round, Teremoana landed a miniature right hand to the chin that caused Harper to fall on his back. Referee Christopher Newborn counted him out.
It was Teremoana’s seventh first-round stoppage in ten wins.
