Kenneally vs. Rocha to Fight This Saturday in Australia – World Boxing Association

Che Kenneally and Angie Paola Rocha will enter the ring next Saturday for a World Boxing Association (WBA) delicate heavyweight title fight at the Southport Sharks AFL Club in Southport, Australia.

Kenneally, 29, will be getting her first chance at the huge time. She made her professional debut last year and has been on the rise with sturdy performances in the division.

Rocha is more experienced and comes from Colombia with hopes of becoming a world champion far from her homeland. The 38-year-old is coming off a loss to Raquel Miller but is looking to turn things around in a very significant fight for her.

Kenneally has a record of 4 wins, no losses and 1 knockout, while Rocha has a record of 14 wins, 4 losses and 3 draws.

The WBA honored the career of Christy Martin – World Boxing Association

On Friday evening, the World Boxing Association (WBA) honored women’s boxing legend and pioneer Christy Martin. The president of the organization, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, awarded the American the title of lifetime champion for her contribution to sport and paving the path for women’s development in and outside the ring.

During a special ceremony organized during the WBA convention in Orlando, attended by Amanda Serrano, one of the best fighters of all time and a contemporary figure, the head of the pioneering organization thanked Martin for her wonderful career and awarded her the WBA title belt, which decorated her with the champion of life.

Additionally, he also named Serrano a WBA ambassador and recognized Jake Paul as the most influential promoter today for his work with world boxing prospects and fighter development in the United States.

The WBA congratulates Christy Martin, one of the pioneers of women’s boxing, and thanks her for being an example to all the fighters who have come through over the years.

Delgado vs. Khoudari this Friday in Panama – World Boxing Association

Nataly Delgado will defend her World Boxing Association (WBA) super flyweight belt against Rini Khoudari on Friday night at the Coliseo de Combates Pandeportes in Panama.

The local fighter will defend her regional belt against the Colombian in one of the fights of the event organized by All Star Boxing in the Central American country.

Delgado won her title against Bethy Franco on July 27 at the Arena de Colon in front of her fans, and now she will have the opportunity to defend herself against a South American opponent for the first time.

Khoudari is from Bogota and gained professional experience until he found this great opportunity. This will be her second international experience after fighting in Mexico in 2023 and drawing with Maria Atilano in a six-round fight.

Delgado has 15 wins, 7 losses and 2 draws, including 5 by knockout. Khoudari, on the other hand, has 6 wins, no losses, 1 draw and 3 knockouts.

Tina Rupprecht defeated Eri Matsuda to become the unified minimum lightweight champion on Saturday at Olympiastuetzpunkt in Heildelberg, Germany, with scores of 97-92, 96-93 and 96-93.

The German held the WBC crown and, defeating the Japanese, took the World Boxing Association (WBA) and WBO belts, winning three belts in this category.

Rupprecht held the baton in the fight and was quite insightful in attacking his opponent, who had a great style and great technique like the Asian.
