Amir Khan tells Jake Paul the fighting rules he must agree to if he replaces Mike Tyson

J. HumzaAmir Khan has expressed his desire to replace Mike Tyson in the fight against Jake Paul, provided that the YouTube star loses a significant amount of weight.
Heavyweight legend Iron Mike was originally scheduled to face the YouTuber-turned-boxer on July 20. However, the fight was postponed due to Tyson’s health, which resulted from a recurrence of ulcers during last week’s flight. Tyson now hopes the fight will take place between October and December.
Khan, a former world champion who weighed about 140 pounds at his peak, retired two years ago after losing to longtime rival Kell Brook. Even though he’s 37, he’s open to replacing Tyson, but insists Paul, who recently gained 230 pounds, needs to lose a lot of weight.
“If the weights are right,” Khan told Offshore Poker Sites, “I don’t mind giving up 20 pounds. It just depends on the weight because I know Jake gained a lot of weight to fight Mike. Jake isn’t usually this large, but he’s gained a lot of weight, so it’s up to him to decide if he wants to lose weight and we’ll find a middle ground somewhere.”
He added: “We’ll see, but I haven’t had any calls about it, so I assume they’re still hoping to fight Mike, he won’t want to get beaten early. These guys are halfway through training and drinking camp – they don’t even have camp – they make the sport look bad, so if it means I have to knock out KSI, Jake Paul and his brother Logan to teach them a lesson, I will do it.” .
“Honestly, I don’t think Jake Paul will want anything to do with me. I want to give this boxing influencer a break because these guys are destroying boxing and until they get a good beating they won’t realize that boxing is for real fighters who take the sport seriously.”
“Iron Mike” confirmed that despite recent health problems, his health is relatively good, and doctors recommended him to rest for a few weeks before resuming training. Moreover, in Tyson’s last sparring match, Roy Jones Jr offered himself as a potential reserve fighter, aimed at regaining his form in the event that he is selected.
Since the incident in the last week of May, several boxers have expressed interest in replacing Tyson. However, Tyson and Paul announced their intention to postpone the fight, wanting to keep the original fight intact.
The postponement was implemented to allow both fighters adequate time to rest, train and recover so they can perform at their best on fight night. For now, the recent date for the Tyson vs. fight Paul is scheduled to be announced on June 7.

Jake Paul warned: ‘When Mike Tyson hit me, I saw dwarves’

November 4, 2024Mike Tyson’s last professional foe, Kevin McBride, has warned Jake Paul that he is heading for an early knockout defeat.
Tyson is fighting for the first time as a professional since 2005, when he faced YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul at AT&T Stadium in Texas November 15streaming on Netflix.
Nearly 20 years ago, McBride infamously retired the well-faded “Iron Mike” after a sixth-round victory.
Despite the decisive victory, the Irishman admits that the power of the former undisputed heavyweight champion was still formidable.
McBride said Instant casinos: “When Tyson hit me, I swear I saw a Leprechaun playing drums in my head, so I grabbed his head and whispered to him, ‘Is that all you’ve got?’ and he went crazy.
“He bit my nipple so demanding it was the most excruciating pain I have ever felt in my life. When he pulled it away, his mouthpiece fell out and I thought, “Thank God he had a mouthpiece,” if he hadn’t, I would forever be known as the Irish heavyweight with one nipple.
“If you watch the fight in sluggish motion, you can see him biting my nipple.
“When you’re a fighter like Tyson, I can tell you he’s going there to win and go about his business. He doesn’t want to look back and think he let Jake Paul off the hook.
He’s going there to win and Paul will need to be in top shape to survive.
“I can say from the media that Tyson has already achieved so much that he wants to win, it is in his blood, the competition will never leave him.”
Paul, 27, has won four in a row since his only professional loss to Tommy Fury, stopping former UFC fighter Mike Perry in July.
“The Problem Child” hasn’t even been dropped yet in his career, but McBride says he’s supporting his former rival to ensure he gets an early break, even though Paul is 31 years his junior.
“Jake Paul is feeling a little better, gaining more experience in the ring, but he will see how powerful Tyson is.
“Paul is maybe half Tyson’s age, but Tyson is so unsafe. Power is the last thing you lose.
“You can see it in the videos he posts. It may only be a compact film, but it has incredible power.
“All Mike Tyson has to do is connect and Jake Paul will be watching Christmas lights for the next week.
“He will be timed in the first few rounds and that will be the end of it.
“Tyson is a legend and if he beats Paul you can tell him that if he wants to avenge his defeat, let’s not get too crazy.
“I would come out of retirement for another Mike Tyson fight. Or if one of the men backs down, I’ll jump in.

Scary Mike Tyson signs contract at 12 and absurd sparring claims ahead of fight with Jake Paul

November 4, 2024According to one of his early trainers, Mike Tyson showed terrifying signs of strength from an early age, and by the age of 12 he was knocking out professional fighters. “Iron” Mike is currently preparing for his highly anticipated fight with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, which will take place on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be streamed live on Netflix.
Tyson boasts an illustrious boxing career, winning the WBA and WBC heavyweight titles twice, as well as the IBF belt in his division. Heading into this month’s fight, Tyson, 58, has an impressive record of 50-6-2(NC) with 44 knockouts against top opponents and has shared the ring with boxing giants such as Frank Bruno, Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis.
Despite making his debut against Hector Mercedes in 1985 at the age of 18, Tyson’s passion for fighting began much earlier. His former trainer Teddy Atlas revealed to RingTV.com that Tyson was beating adult men when he was just 12 years elderly.
But Tyson was no ordinary teenager; Atlas remembers that he was a physical marvel, weighing 70 kilograms. He said: “As far as the purest God-given talent, raw talent, from the earliest stage you saw, it had to be 12-year-old Tyson, who weighed 60 pounds but wasn’t fat,” he reported. Mirror.
Atlas recalled how Tyson made an immediate impression during his first visit to the gym, where he faced an older professional fighter under the watchful eye of himself and legendary trainer Cus D’Amato. He said: “He must have impressed me and Cus. On the first day he had to fight a 27-year-old man who was a professional fighter, and he did it.”
Reflecting on Tyson’s unmatched punching power at such a newborn age, Atlas said: “You can’t send him sparring with kids because he doesn’t have any. So you hire sparring partners and they are men and he hurts them and knocks them down. Anyone who could knock out men at the age of 12 or 13 is a damn good fighter.
However, it was not Tyson’s physical abilities that declined by the time of his last professional fight in 2005 against Kevin McBride, but rather his mental toughness. Atlas noted, “What wasn’t robust was his will. This just broke. His will broke before his chin. He took those punches and took large hits before he got knocked out. His will was not as robust as his chin.”
Despite a robust training relationship in Tyson’s early years, Atlas and “Iron” Mike separated when the professional boxer was around 15 years elderly. Now he’s looking forward to returning to the ring for the first time since his 2020 exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr, which ended in a draw after eight rounds – with Tyson taking on social media star Paul later this month.
Paul, who made his debut just four years ago, has quickly amassed a respectable 10-1 record in the boxing ring, defeating several former UFC stars including Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Mike Perry, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.
While Paul may be hoping that his youth will give him an advantage over Tyson in the November 15 fight – being 31 years younger than the former heavyweight champion – recent training videos have some boxing fans fearing for the safety of the “Problem Child”. as Tyson continues to demonstrate extraordinary speed and power even as he approaches 60 years of age.

Dubois challenged by former world champion after Joshua’s fall in the rematch

November 4, 2024Joseph Parker insists he is ready to fight Daniel Dubois on February 22 to replace Anthony Joshua.
It looked like Dubois would defend his IBF heavyweight world title against Joshua in a rematch early next year, although “AJ” reportedly needs more time for regeneration after a devastating defeat in the fifth round.
This leaves the 27-year-old champion without an opponent and a former WBO world champion. Parker believes he would pose a completely different threat to the Londoner.
“I was very vocal that I wanted to fight Daniel Dubois,” said the 32-year-old talkSPORT Boxing.
“He did exceptionally well with Don Charles, his dad and the team.
“He looked great with [Jarrell] Miller fight, [Filip] Fight with Hrgovic.
“He looked good against Joshua, who received a devastating knockout.
“But there’s a difference between me and all the other fighters, I’m fresh, I’m hungry, I’ve been waiting for a large fight since March, let’s get on with it now.”
The Modern Zealander has catapulted into contention with five straight wins, most notably over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang in his last two fights.
Parker is currently not in the top 15 of the IBF rankings, which could be an obstacle to securing the fight.
If the meeting with “Dynamite” does not take place, Parker claims that he would be elated to face Agit Kabayel, who holds high positions in the IBF and WBC rankings.
“All I need is a chance and someone who will stand in front of me like Dubois,” he added.
So I can show what I can do in the ring and I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress.
“If the Dubois fight doesn’t happen, I think Kabayel will be a great fight.
“He had two great victories [against] guys he shouldn’t be beating.
“He’s also an IBF and WBC must-see, so I think it would be great to get him and then I’d have two chances to fight for the belt.”
