Caleb Plant Drams Trevor McCumby at the final press conference

Caleb Plant took on the podium during today’s last press conference to make sure that Trevor McCumby is aware of what is going on this weekend. The plant would establish references to the members of the McCumbby team, which grabbed him during the previous Press and says that while this garbage conversation may sound good, McCumbby knows what to face him.

“Reaching here and returning to this place required a lot of difficult work,” said Plant. “So one thing I love to do, and one thing I did throughout my career is to study great, because the success is about being deliberate. And something I read a long time ago says: “Success is at the top of the hill and no one has taken an accident.”

“One of the great I study is Andre Ward, and it is a blessing for me, because he becomes a good friend of the mine over the years and every time you need to reach out and look for opinions, he always does everything that in show me the right direction. And one thing I heard “Dre again and again,” not all opinions are confirmed.

“One day at the Grand of Przybyszów, someone from his team, it could be your brother, shouted at me, calling me the ass. And it’s basic to say because he is on the pavement. Because I guarantee that if you jumped here on the move, you will be hit like a Mack truck.

“As I said, not all opinions are approved because Trevor himself knows that I am not the ass. That’s why you want to fight me because you in gigantic leagues, you want to be on a gigantic stage and you can’t do it by fighting your ass. You do it, fighting with a real warrior, and what you look at, a real warrior … Everyone with whom you fought is the ass, but you are not fighting your ass now.

Promoters discuss the potential of Gervont Davis vs Shakur Stevenson

Boxing promoters Eddie Hearn and Leonard Ellerbe, who at least once had a very emergency relationship, face to face during a press event for Canelo Alvarez vs Edgar Berlanga and instead of coming to the blows, they got involved as cordial to be cordial conversation about the potential of the fight between Gervont “Tank” Davis and Shakur Stevenson. Here are some fragments of what they both had to say.

Ellerbe about whether he can work with Hearn to do tank vs. Stevenson

“Tank will return before the end of the year. We look at several guys now, but he will come back before the end of the year. Due to the fact that this is to fight Shakur Stevenson, Tank wants him. Tank wants him, but it’s about the time of everything. “

Hearn on his intention to make a tank vs. Stevenson

“I hope we have a plan of two fighting with Shakur. Joe Cordina, Zepeda in February. And Think Tank vs Shakur is one of the biggest fights in sport. Think Tukami is over that this good request is a good shakar, and I love this fight.

At this point, Ellerbe would have broken with a amiable joke forward and back, with energy that clearly contrasts Ellerbe’s previous comments about Hearn.

“Shakur cannot beat Tank,” said Ellerbe. “He defeated all other fighters, he can’t F-CK with a tank.”

“The reservoir loses the rounds,” Hearn would answer. “I think Shakur is a man who defeated him.”

“Shakur can’t F-m with a tank. He is a very good warrior, very respect, what he did in the ring, he has a good team around him, but he can’t F-CK from Tank.

“I'll cut his s—”: Berlanga on De La Hoya's “hatred.”

Edgar Berlanga slammed Golden Boy promoter Oscar De La Hoya, who, unsurprisingly, was the main critic of Saturday’s fight between Canelo Alvarez and Berlanga.

“Guys like Oscar De La Hoya are trying to destroy my reputation, destroy Canelo’s reputation, trying to say that we won’t sell any tickets, that the PPV numbers – no one will buy, it won’t exceed 100,000. . He’s a female dog and if I see him, I’ll kick his head.” – Berlanga he said.

“He’s just upset, he’s just upset that he’s aged. He’s got a guy like Canelo, who’s a real Mexican, that’s unquestionable, and I know where his hatred comes from. As for me, he wanted to sign a contract with me. He flew in from Vegas, trying to fly out of Los Angeles and sign me. We signed one of the best, Eddie Hearn.

“So Oscar, fuck you.”

It is true that De La Hoya wanted to sign Berlanga when the fighter parted ways with Top Rank in early 2023, which has been documented. We all fully understood that Canelo and De La Hoya have a real beef, which came to airy earlier this year when Canelo fought Golden Boy’s Jaime Munguia, and Canelo even accused De La Hoya of trying to steal money from fighters.
