Jaron Ennis vs Karen Chukhadzhian 2 – gigantic fight preview and predictions
Published
6 hours agoon
Jaron Ennis returns to his second straight fight at the Wells Fargo Center in his native Philadelphia, defending his IBF welterweight title against Ukrainian challenger Karen Chukhadzhian in a barely needed rematch of their original 2023 meeting.
Meanwhile, Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing promotes the Ennis vs. Chukhadzhian fight DAZN Broadcast the card on live TV around the world.
Ennis (32-0, 29 KO) is one of the hottest names in the sport as he owns one of the longest undefeated streaks in boxing, and “Boots” fought 21 straight fights without having to hear the final bell before facing Chukhadzhian for the title for the first time in January 2023
That night in Washington, the 27-year-old won every round and won the IBF interim title, although the guy gave a good account of his defeat by shoving Ennis away before suffering a crushing defeat.
From their clash, ‘Boots’ knocked out Roiman Villa within ten minutes before being promoted to full champion, where he made his first defense in July, forcing the tough David Avanesyan to retire after five rounds.
Chukhadzyan (24-2, 13 KO) has since regrouped with three straight wins and returned to being the mandatory challenger in the IBF, winning the Intercontinental title, which he defended in May in Germany on points over Harry Scarff.
Bam Rodriguez is back
The card sees another featherlight heavyweight star in action as Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez defends his WBC super flyweight title for the first time in his second term as champion, against former featherlight heavyweight champion Pedro Guevara (42-4-1, 22 KO).
Rodriguez (20-0, 13 KO) broke out in February 2022, quickly winning the WBC super flyweight title against Carlos Cuadras on the cards before making two defenses before returning to flyweight and winning the title last April WBO.
The 24-year-old added an IBF crown with a stunning ninth-round retirement victory over Clear Edwards last December, then returned to the top in June to face Juan Francisco Estrada for his vintage WBC super flyweight belt.
It was a thriller, with “Bam” underperforming in one card and evenly matched in another before landing punches that earned him a seventh-round stoppage.
He will now face former titlist Guevara, 35, who is the interim super flyweight champion following a split decision in Australia against Andrew Moloney in May.
Ford looks to be getting back into shape
In ten rounds Raymond Ford (15-1-1, 8 KO) is coming back after losing to Nick Ball and losing his world title, and before moving to the super featherweight category, he should score points with Orlando Gonzalez (23-2, 13 KO) for the first time.
Coe clashes with Gallegos
Khalil Coe (9-0-1, 7 KO) also sees action, and the featherlight heavyweight can win by stopping Manuel Gallegos (20-2-1, 17 KO), who was last stopped by Diego Pacheco in his fourth fight.

Undercard remaining
Undefeated super lightweight candidate Ernesto Mercado (16-0, 15 KO) can win again at the beginning of the fight, this time against Jesus Saracho (14-2-1, 11 KO).
The only fighter in the eighth round comes in the middleweight division, where Austin “Ammo” Williams (16-1, 11 KO) returns from a break against Hamzah Sheeraz in June and should get an early win over Gian Garrido (11-1, 8 KO). ).
There is also a six-round fight in which Ismail Muhammad (5-0, 3 KO) can stop Nelson Morales (5-18, 2 KO) in a welterweight fight.
In four rounds, Dennis Thompson (2-0, 1 KO) should get on the right track and win his super bantamweight fight against Edgar Ortiz Jr (8-5-2, 4 KO), and debutant Zaquin Moses can do the same against Michael Ruiz (1-4) at super featherweight.

Trainer Jake Paul’s brutal two-word response to Mike Tyson fight, video of which went viral
Published

November 5, 2024Jake Paul’s trainer J’Leon Love has rejected the notion that his student will face former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. The clash between the two teams will take place on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Texas, with up to 90,000 fans expected to attend.
This fight will fulfill Paul’s three and a half year ambition. “The Problem Child,” as Paul is known, comes into this fight off the back of a win over former UFC star Mike Perry in July.
Since his professional debut in 2020, Paul has been fighting regularly in the boxing ring. In his tiny career, the newborn American scored victories over Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
With a record of 10-1, his only loss was a points defeat to Tommy Fury last year. On the eve of next week’s gala in Texas, “The Problem Child” posted a video on his official Instagram account in which he reveals how the idea to fight Tyson came about. While talking to Love, it seemed like Paul’s coach was completely against the potential matchup.
The video, which dates back to 2021, before his fight with Askren, shows the YouTuber-turned-boxer humorously hinting at the prospect of fighting “Iron Mike.” “I just had a crazy idea,” Paul said. “Do you think I could beat Mike Tyson?” Love can be seen laughing before replying, “—- no.”
Paul then questioned his coach’s advice, asking incredulously, “Even in a year?” Love, who has experience in the ring himself, emphasized the depth of Tyson’s skill, saying: “Mike Tyson just got a —-. He knows how to do it bro, it’s just…”
Paul, 27, agreed and nodded, saying: “Tyson is a dog,” and mused: “I was just thinking about Jake Paul fighting Mike Tyson? That would be fun.”
Paul’s fantasy fight is about to materialize next week. However, since the fight was announced, the influential boxer has been bombarded with criticism for agreeing to fight Tyson.
Dismissing skeptics, the newborn American recently defended his decision during an interview TODAYstating, “A lot of people wonder, ‘Jake, why are you doing this? Even if you beat him, they will say he is ancient.”
“But for me, Mike Tyson wanted to fight me. It’s an honor. He is one of the most famed boxers in the world who has ever done this. “It’s an honor and a dream come true to be there with someone of his character. It’s going to be a show on Netflix.”
Some fans are skeptical that “Iron Mike” will take his upcoming fight seriously after the sensational revelation. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the 58-year-old boxing icon stated that she trains six hours every day.
“I train extremely challenging, I practice six hours a day. I start at 11 a.m. and can leave the gym at 5 p.m.,” Tyson revealed. A clearly surprised Kimmel replied, “Oh no. 11:00? So it’s six hours straight, is there a break for lunch?”
Tyson admitted that there was indeed a tiny pause, prompting a stunned Kimmel to exclaim, “Oh no.”

Mike Tyson sold ‘monster animal worth $55,000’ pounds” after tearing someone’s arm off
Published

November 5, 2024Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson’s relationships have come and gone over the years, but his breakup with his tiger may be one of the most painful. This comes after the couple was forced to split up when the large cat in question “teared off someone’s arm.”
At one point, boxing king Tyson owned three Bengal tigers, but gave two to an animal shelter when he realized they required too much care. The remaining tiger, Kenya, remained with him for 16 years until a tragic accident led to their separation and the woman’s alleged loss of a limb.
‘Iron’ Mike – who is due to retire and fight Jake Paul on November 15 – reportedly bought the tiger for £55,000 when he was released from prison following his rape conviction in 1992. However, their bond came to an unfortunate end when a member of the public strangely decided to enter the enclosure in Kenya.
“I had a tiger, her name was Kenya and she weighed about 250 kilograms,” Tyson told GQ (via Mirror) in 2019. “I had great affection for her, I held her, I slept with her, I kept her in my room.
“She stayed with me. I had her for about 16 years. She was a huge monster, you couldn’t imagine her size. But she was too elderly and I had to get rid of her when her eyes and head deteriorated. Oh, and she ripped off someone’s arm.
Contrary to speculation that Kenya had escaped from her enclosure when the crash occurred, Tyson clarified that it was the woman who had entered the tiger’s territory. The boxing legend explained that the woman in question jumped over a fence to play with her cat before things took a turn for the worse.
Tyson also revealed that a seriously injured woman tried to sue him over the incident. However, the lawsuit was unsuccessful because she technically broke into a fence in Kenya.
Despite this, Tyson has explained in the past that he still paid out a significant amount of compensation. In an Instagram Live conversation with rapper Fat Joe in 2020, he said, “When I saw what the tiger did to her hand, I had a lot of money at the time, so I gave her $250,000, whatever it was, because she was just cursed.” ***** up.”
Tyson is now preparing to face Paul in the ring next Friday in his first professional fight since 2005. However, fans hope that their clash will not end with stern injuries to any of the players.

Jake Paul warned: ‘When Mike Tyson hit me, I saw dwarves’
Published
22 hours agoon
November 4, 2024Mike Tyson’s last professional foe, Kevin McBride, has warned Jake Paul that he is heading for an early knockout defeat.
Tyson is fighting for the first time as a professional since 2005, when he faced YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul at AT&T Stadium in Texas November 15streaming on Netflix.
Nearly 20 years ago, McBride infamously retired the well-faded “Iron Mike” after a sixth-round victory.
Despite the decisive victory, the Irishman admits that the power of the former undisputed heavyweight champion was still formidable.
McBride said Instant casinos: “When Tyson hit me, I swear I saw a Leprechaun playing drums in my head, so I grabbed his head and whispered to him, ‘Is that all you’ve got?’ and he went crazy.
“He bit my nipple so demanding it was the most excruciating pain I have ever felt in my life. When he pulled it away, his mouthpiece fell out and I thought, “Thank God he had a mouthpiece,” if he hadn’t, I would forever be known as the Irish heavyweight with one nipple.
“If you watch the fight in sluggish motion, you can see him biting my nipple.
“When you’re a fighter like Tyson, I can tell you he’s going there to win and go about his business. He doesn’t want to look back and think he let Jake Paul off the hook.
He’s going there to win and Paul will need to be in top shape to survive.
“I can say from the media that Tyson has already achieved so much that he wants to win, it is in his blood, the competition will never leave him.”
Paul, 27, has won four in a row since his only professional loss to Tommy Fury, stopping former UFC fighter Mike Perry in July.
“The Problem Child” hasn’t even been dropped yet in his career, but McBride says he’s supporting his former rival to ensure he gets an early break, even though Paul is 31 years his junior.
“Jake Paul is feeling a little better, gaining more experience in the ring, but he will see how powerful Tyson is.
“Paul is maybe half Tyson’s age, but Tyson is so unsafe. Power is the last thing you lose.
“You can see it in the videos he posts. It may only be a compact film, but it has incredible power.
“All Mike Tyson has to do is connect and Jake Paul will be watching Christmas lights for the next week.
“He will be timed in the first few rounds and that will be the end of it.
“Tyson is a legend and if he beats Paul you can tell him that if he wants to avenge his defeat, let’s not get too crazy.
“I would come out of retirement for another Mike Tyson fight. Or if one of the men backs down, I’ll jump in.
