Frank Warren says there are several options being considered for Daniel Dubois’ next move beyond a rematch with Anthony Joshua.

Last month, Warren sat ringside and watched his man Dubois stunningly knocks out Joshua to retain the IBF heavyweight world title at a packed Wembley Stadium.

Early indications were that both would withdraw immediately, with Saudi Arabian boss Turki Alalshikh reportedly keen on a second all-British clash between the two.

However, while Warren confirmed that “Dynamite” would be released again in early 2025, he added that it “may not” involve Joshua again.

“I mean, I have no problem with this fight [Joshua rematch]. I would fight all day for him.”

If a rematch with “AJ” is not next, Dubois has been linked with fights against the likes of Joseph Parker, Zhilei Zhang and the winner of the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury on December 21.

Many boxing celebrities urged Joshua to stay away from the rematch with “DDD” and some even said he should consider hanging up his gloves.

But his promoter Eddie Hearn insists the Watford player, who celebrated his 36th birthday today, is adamant he wants a chance to get revenge on his younger compatriot.

Mike Tyson has finally revealed the real reason he pulled out of his scheduled July session with Jake Paul. The 58-year-old heavyweight icon was prepared to take on 27-year-old social media and boxing sensation Paul this summer at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

However, health issues forced Tyson to step aside, paving the way for Mike Perry – an experienced UFC fighter who had opted for a bare-knuckle fight – to step in as a backup opponent. Paul, known in boxing corners as “Problem Child,” triumphed over Perry with a massive technical knockout in the sixth round, mercilessly targeting his opponent’s body from the very beginning.

With this victory, he improved his ring record to an impressive 10-1. After that fight, attention quickly returned to the Tyson-Paul fight, and both fighters are now preparing for their highly anticipated showdown next month. What happened?

When will the postponed fight take place?

The fight, which was originally scheduled for July 20, has now been moved to November 15. ATandT Stadium in Arlington, Texas, will continue to host the event, which is expected to attract up to 90,000 fans. This professional heavyweight fight is sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which means a victory for Paul will raise his record to 11-1.

Paul has been extremely lively since turning professional four years ago, defeating many large names in combat sports, including former UFC stars Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren. His only loss was a split decision to Tommy Fury last February.

Although Tyson was once the heavyweight champion of the world, he has not fought professionally since his defeat to Kevin McBride in 2005. He returned for an eight-round exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr in 2020, which ended in a draw after going the entire distance. With an overall record of 50-6-2(NC), Tyson can further improve his record if he triumphs over Paul next month, adding to the long list of opponents he defeated in his prime, including Frank Bruno, Michael Spinks, Carl Williams and Bruce Seldon, among others.

British boxer Ben Whittaker was reportedly dragged away by airport security in Saudi Arabia after smashing a fan’s phone.

His fight with Liam Cameron ended in an unusual draw after both boxers fell out of the ring, and Whittaker left the field in a wheelchair after injuring his ankle during sparring and then falling through the ropes.

The fight was stopped due to an accidental injury and a technical draw was declared, with Whittaker leading 58-57 on one scorecard, Cameron leading by the same score on the second, and the third tied 58-58.

“Ben said, ‘Don’t take any pictures of me,’ and grabbed the phone out of his hand and threw it straight on the floor.

“Ben came up to him and looked like he was going to hit him and some of Ben’s team jumped in between them and it got really heated – they were shouting at each other.”

Both men allegedly initially had their passports confiscated following an argument, and then had another conversation at a nearby cafe and settled their differences.

They sat at the same table and Whittaker apologized, offering to cover the damages, after a fan was offered to be a guest at one of the 27-year-old’s next fights, the matter was quickly described as “chilled”.

Whittaker has already broken his silence on the incident and said: “It was a truly unfortunate event and I am grateful to the gentleman who sat down to talk about it immediately afterwards and accepted my apology.

“Unfortunately, I cannot comment further on the alleged video as I have not seen it. Anyway, we are in contact about replacing his phone and coming to a future event as our guest.”
