Artur Beterbiev defeated Dmitry Bivol by decision in one of the most essential main event wins since Saudi Arabia began staging boxing’s biggest fights. By winning this fight, Beterbiev became the first-ever undisputed lithe heavyweight champion in the four-belt era.
The last time there was an undisputed three-belt champion in this division was in 2000, when Roy Jones Jr. defeated Eric Harding. Bivol and Beterbiev’s performance reflected the seriousness of the situation as they both left everything in the ring.
Initially, Bivol was in control of the fight before some difficult shots in round 4 revived Beterbiev. Beterbiev was 20-0 heading into the fight, winning every fight by knockout, but was unable to find enough strength in the later rounds to stop Bivol and maintain his perfect record.
It was Beterbiev’s ninth defense of the IBF title, sixth defense of the WBC title and third defense of the WBO title, and he held the belts while adding a fourth. Beterbiev didn’t show much emotion after the fight, but the victory meant everything to him.
“I must be excited [for this fight]” – Beterbiev said before the fight on ESPN Undisputed. “I don’t get emotional in front of people, but of course I’m excited. This is my goal [undisputed] master.”
On the card below, Fabio Wardley defeated Frazer Clarke in the first round after taking some brutal shots early on that resulted in his opponent needing medical attention. Clarke left the arena and went to hospital to undergo tests for a suspected broken jaw and cheekbone.
Chris Eubank Jr secured victory with a seventh-round stoppage in his first fight in over a year. Eubank Jr. under pressure from Kamil Szeremeta, he knocked him down in the first round, but he remained placid and won the 34th victory in his professional career.
“I had a good time there. I think I could have finished it the first time, but it’s been a year and I wanted to get some ring rust off,” Eubank Jr. said of the fight. Another fight almost took place after Eubank Jr. was announced as the winner, and the undefeated rival Conor Benn entered the ring.
Eubank Jr and Benn got into a heated confrontation and had to be separated, with both fighters wanting to meet in the ring. “Let’s get this done,” Eubank Jr was heard telling Benn after their first fight was canceled.
Benn was scheduled to face Eubank Jr. in October 2022, but the fight was postponed after Benn tested positive for clomiphene. Since then, the animosity has continued, and fans can finally see the fight that was supposed to take place two years ago.

A statement has been released from Jake Paul and Mike Tyson over claims that a “federal crime” has occurred.
Published

November 26, 2024The promoter of the sensational Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight refutes claims that the fight was fixed after Paul’s victory over the boxing legend. The YouTube star-turned-boxer won a unanimous decision in the eight-round fight, setting his 2023 record of 11 wins and just one loss against Tommy Fury.
The Texas showdown broke records, grossing more than $18 million and becoming the most lucrative boxing event ever held outside Las Vegas. Despite this success, rumors of a rigged match have spread on social media, casting doubt on the legitimacy of the 27-year-old’s victory.
In response, Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions, strongly rejected these allegations and any suggestion that Paul’s victory was in jeopardy. “Due to the widespread dissemination of erroneous and unsubstantiated claims that call into question the fairness of the Paul vs. Tyson, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), would like to clarify the matter regarding the contractual arrangements and the nature of the fight,” the statement reads.
It continued to emphasize the legality of the event: “Rigging a professional boxing match is a federal crime in the United States. The Paul vs. Tyson fight was a professional fight sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
“Both fighters gave their all in good faith to win the fight. There were absolutely no restrictions – contractual or otherwise – around any of the players. Each boxer could employ his full arsenal to win the fight. consent to the contrary would violate the TDLR Boxing Rules.
“Nonsense and speculation are common in sports, and athletes and organizers must tolerate nonsense comments, jokes and opinions. But to suggest anything other than a full effort from these players is not only naive, but also an insult to the work they have put into their craft and the sport itself.
“It is even more illogical and absurd that MVP would debut as part of a promising long-term partnership with the largest streamer in the world – an organization that made its first-ever foray into live professional sports with Paul vs. Tyson would even consider it such a perverse violation of competition rules.”
The statement continued: “This is not the first time that Jake Paul has been met with unfounded skepticism or outright disbelief as a professional athlete and, quite frankly, the claim that his fight must have been faked is yet another blatant compliment he has received,” he said. Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions.
“From his first day in the sport, people doubted his ability – unable to come to terms with how someone with his background had achieved so much in such a low time. Not only has Jake proven himself time and time again, but he continually sets historical records that speak for themselves.
“This event, which broke attendance and viewership milestones for professional sporting events, is another example of his ability to perform on the biggest stage. As long as Jake continues to exceed expectations, there will always be those who will try to discredit his achievements. We don’t accept doubt – it only motivates Jake to work harder and achieve more success.”

Carl Froch predicts Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2 fight
Published

November 25, 2024Carl Froch shared a summary of the upcoming rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.
Froch correctly predicted that Usyk would defeat Fury in the first round in May, and the Ukrainian won by split decision to win all four heavyweight world titles.
The “Gypsy King” enters them. December 21st rematch with a weaker fighter, and many people are concerned about the damage he suffered earlier in the year – especially the dramatic ninth round in which he was seriously injured and fell.
And talk to casino.orgFroch admitted that he believed that his compatriot would once again not be able to cope with Usyk.
“The first fight was fierce. Or at least it was very close until Fury was knocked down in the ninth round.
“This will be intriguing. Usyk is 37 years ancient, older than Fury, but he lives life. What matters is not the age of the competitor, but the miles traveled.
“Fury has even more kilometers ahead of him after three challenging fights against Deontay Wilder and then he went to the floor against Francis Ngannou.
“I would bet on Usyk winning, probably on points. I couldn’t rule out a stoppage behind schedule in the match because if Fury decides to do it, as he suggests, that’s what he will do.
There has been much speculation as to whether Fury will change his tactics ahead of the decisive rematch, although he insists he should have raised his hand in their first fight and will therefore not be making any drastic changes.

This time, undisputed status is not up for grabs as Usyk was forced to relinquish the IBF belt, currently held by Daniel Dubois, this summer after a stunning victory over Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium.
There is a view that if Fury reverses the result in four weeks’ time, the next one will be the long-awaited grudge match against Joshua, although Dubois will no doubt feel he has the right to give the Morecambe man a chance.

Tyson Fury has a scathing assessment of rivals Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois
Published

November 25, 2024Tyson Fury has been scathing in his assessment of fellow British heavyweights Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois, calling them “restricted” in their preparations for their rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. Despite losing his first undisputed world title fight to the talented Ukrainian in May, Fury is preparing for an explosive rematch in Riyad just before Christmas, with three titles on the line this time.
The “Gypsy King” revealed that he will stick to his elusive boxing style, noting his unique skill set for his size. He discusses his tactics with TNT SportsFury said: “Basically the same as before, good boxing. It’s not normal for someone my height and weight to be able to box and slide, so why would I exclude that from my game? People say in my opinion I have to go to Usyk, knock him down and punch him, but if it was so basic, why didn’t Joshua, who is a gigantic, sturdy man, do it? Why didn’t Dubois do this? restricted compared to very restricted for me.”
“The man who approaches him is Christmas coming early. I’m a boxer on my side, sliding, sliding, uppercutting, hooking. I’m going to do it, but with more focus. A little more focused on my job, I think that’s my path to victory.” Fury also confirmed there would be no changes to his training squad, despite some critics pointing fingers at the influence of his father John after the previous defeat.
Fury Sr., who is Tyson Fury’s father, was one of the trio who shouted out tactical advice during the rounds of his son’s fight, benefiting from the expertise of coaches SugarHill Steward and Andy Lee. Despite some calls for a change in Fury’s corner, the heavyweight boxer remains undaunted.
“People can have their opinions… but at the end of the day, they’re not in the ring and they’re not fighting, so it doesn’t matter what they think about what’s going on in my corner. If I’m elated, the world is elated and I’m elated,” Fury said. On the other side of the ring, Usyk stated that he never felt threatened by Fury’s shots, and the disappointed fighter denied that the fight should have been stopped due to gunfire in the ninth round, replying: “It’s an undisputed fight for the heavyweight world title [so the fight should not have been stopped]”
He added: “At least a man has to get down on the floor and someone like me who has fallen many times and who gets up should at least give me one chance.” Demonstrating sportsmanship and faith, Fury accepted defeat gracefully, saying: “I believe in God very much. So I believe God has a plan for everyone and the plan was for Usyk to win this fight. And that’s what happened, it’s fair. I knew it was a tough fight. I thought I had done enough, but listen, I’m not complaining. I was elated for him. I congratulated him. I was elated that we both came home to our family safe and sound.”
