Conor McGregor Finally Gives Jake Paul What He Always Wanted After The Fight

J. HumzaConor McGregor has hurled an insult at Jake Paul, predicting that bare-knuckle fighter Mike Perry will beat the YouTuber-turned-boxer in their upcoming fight. The Irishman called his opponent a “little nerd” while hosting a press conference for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
The upcoming fight between Paul and Perry is an intriguing matchup – the former has 10 fights in his career, while the latter boasts experience in both BKFC and UFC. The fight in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, July 20 is essentially a replacement for the rescheduled fight between “Problem Child” and Mike Tyson, as that event has been moved to November.
The decision to hold the fight in the winter comes after the former heavyweight champion suffered a medical emergency on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles in May. By opting to fight Perry on the original Iron Mike convention date, Paul will now look to avoid any damage to his health and reputation in what would be a spectacular dress rehearsal.
But UFC legend McGregor is among those hoping the internet sensation could fall apart at the Amalie Arena. While supporting BKFC star Perry, he made no mistake in reiterating his commitment, saying at a press conference: “Look what happened to Michael Perry. You know, one of our huge stars here.

“The King of Violence, as he calls himself, and you know, he’s had such a rise in this sport,” he said, before throwing a sarcastic remark at Paul, saying, “Now he’s fighting, you know, a little jerk in a fight this weekend that we’re all rooting for him to fight. But, you know, this is the real deal.”
As for ‘Problem Child’, he has been open about his desire to fight McGregor in the future, offering the Dubliner a call-up to fight before today. There’s also no love lost between the two, as Paul criticised the UFC hero following his comments on his upcoming fight with Tyson.
He said: “There’s no reason for them to be jealous. I understand people are jealous, but it helps the sport of boxing. Isn’t that what people should want – to get more kids in the gym, to span two generations together, to do it on the biggest scale possible? When aged heads like Conor are still trying to hate, why are you trying to drag people down? Your ego is so (huge).”
When it comes to the rivalry with Perry, Paul is confident of victory, saying MVP Face to Face: “I’m too acute, too pristine, I hit too tough, I’ve got power in both hands – he makes a lot of mistakes. Even in his glove training video that he posted today. … There’s nothing he can do, and I respect him. He’s very aggressive. That’s not taking away from Mike Perry. He can beat a lot of people, but he can’t beat me.”
Meanwhile, Perry also gushed ahead of the fight, saying, “I’m just now reaching my peak. I’m just now reaching the point where I’m giving it my all. I learned that in the UFC, where it was tough to learn. Since learning, I’ve been having success fighting these guys.”
Regarding the status of his scheduled fight with Tyson in November, Paul also said: “He’s doing well, he’s back in training. He was worried about me taking the fight. He was like, ‘What’s Jake doing, this guy Mike Perry is a killer.’
“He’s got some concerns, but Tyson, my message to you is don’t worry, I’m going to put this guy to sleep. This guy is a starter for Mike, and you’re next.”

October 8, 2024Tyson Fury may never have been seen as a bigger underdog than in his mammoth rematch with Oleksandr Usyk on December 21.
In May, Usyk handed Fury the first defeat of his 16-year professional career, defeating the Briton en route to a split decision victory in Riyad and becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion.
The fight was originally scheduled for February, but the fight was postponed for two weeks after “The Gypsy King” suffered an injury. gruesome cut during sparring.
Fury now claims that the injury hampered his preparations for his first meeting with the imperious Ukrainian.

“All I need is five or six weeks of sparring, good sparring this time, where I don’t have a wound that’s going to open up.
“We were very worried about cuts in the camp because this reduction involved a huge payout. And the cut didn’t even matter in the fight, so now, Cushty, I’m looking forward to it.
“Look, it was only 12 weeks before I had 16 stitches in my left eye that needed to heal.
“It may have taken seven or eight weeks for the wound to heal and then another six or seven weeks of training, but there is always a risk of the wound opening up. [in camp] and you will lose your immense fortune.
After disappointing performances against Derek Chisora and Francis Ngannou, Fury was in near-career best form ahead of his historic clash with Usyk, his first undisputed world heavyweight title fight in a quarter of a century.

Mike Tyson worries over Butterbean over troubling claims ahead of Jake Paul fight
Published
18 hours agoon
October 8, 2024Butterbean has cast doubt on Mike Tyson’s ability to face Jake Paul in their high-profile fight next month. Real name Eric Esch, the 58-year-old former boxer – who boasts an impressive record of his own – hasn’t held back in criticizing Iron Mike’s upcoming meeting with the so-called “Problem Child,” scheduled for November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas .
He previously described the event as a “scam,” bluntly stating that the duo “will never fight.” Last weekend, Esch, who has an impressive 77-10-4 knockout record, expressed fresh concerns about Tyson’s readiness, claiming to AL.com: “I saw Mike about three weeks ago and he looked pregnant.
Not stopping there, he boldly added, “I would have knocked him out. He has no chin. The problem with those who lost to Tyson is that they didn’t challenge him.” Paul and Tyson were originally scheduled to fight on July 20, but Tyson had to withdraw due to health problems.
As a result, YouTube sensation-turned-boxer Paul faced Mike Perry, a UFC fighter who had recently made the switch to bare-knuckle boxing, it was reported. Mirror. Following a sixth-round stoppage victory over Platinum Perry, Paul increased his score to an impressive 10-1.
Quickly shifting gears, he returned his gaze to Tyson, once called the world’s most perilous boxer. A look back at Tyson’s career from 1985 to 2005 shows an outstanding professional record of 50-6-2 (NC) with 44 knockouts, solidifying his legacy among boxing’s greatest fighters.
Tyson won the WBC heavyweight title the year after his professional debut, defeating Trevor Berbick, and added the WBA strap to his collection the following year with a unanimous decision victory over James Smith. That same year, Tyson secured the IBF title with a points triumph over Tony Tucker.
Throughout his illustrious career, Tyson defeated notable opponents such as Frank Bruno, Michael Spinks, Carl Williams and Bruce Seldon. However, following his prime, Zelazny has not competed in a professional boxing match since his loss to Kevin McBride in 2005 – only returning for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr in 2020, which ended in a draw after eight rounds.
Paul, on the other hand, has made quite a name for himself in the professional boxing world since his debut four years ago against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib. Logan Paul’s younger brother, 27, has faced and defeated such tough competition as UFC stars Ben Askren, Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva. His only defeat was in February last year by Tommy Fury.
Butterbean has been extremely open about his desire to fight Paul in recent years, after losing a lot of weight in hopes of finally getting into the ring. He first challenged Paul in March 2022 before repeating his offer a few months later, stating that the teenage boxer “talks too much.”
In July 2024, Esch tempted Paul with a mouthwatering £1.5 million winner-takes-all deal, and in August he pressed the boxer: “Are we going to do this or what?” He even hinted at a potential fight with Tyson, admitting to Chris Van Vliet: “I’m not talking nonsense, I like Mike Tyson. But actually it’s tiny, it’s not gigantic.
“He is powerful, there is no doubt in my mind! The reason me and Tyson would have a good fight, Tyson wouldn’t be afraid. He came straight to me and we would go to the middle of the ring and beat s Let’s fuck each other. This fight would be hell to watch.

Eddie Hearn updates Anthony Joshua’s current training situation

October 7, 2024Eddie Hearn commented on speculations about whether Anthony Joshua will stay with coach Ben Davison.
Hearn and Davison could only watch as Joshua behaved eventually stopped by Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium last month, he failed to become a three-time world heavyweight champion.
Harlow’s coach faced criticism after the fight, particularly for the “AJ” order given immediately before Dubois stopped him in the fifth set.
The Watford superstar is no stranger to hiring and firing coaches – Davison is his fourth in the last three years.
However, in a recent interview with Fight Hub Television, Matchroom boss Hearn said he didn’t think Joshua would be looking to move up to fifth anytime soon.
“He is satisfied with his training camp. It was in great condition; he sparred really well.
“In my opinion, there will be no changes.”
Davison was repeatedly praised for his partnership with Joshua before the disastrous showdown with Dubois, with many observers saying the 34-year-old looked as good as ever in the two fights preceding Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou.
However, these shows turned out to be of little value against “DDD”, who attacked his older compatriot and dominated practically the entire fight.
Against the advice of many prominent figures in the boxing world, it is increasingly likely that Joshua will go straight into another fight with the heavy-handed 26-year-old, with a second fight reportedly being the preferred option of Saudi financier Turki. Alalshch.

However, it should not be surprising that Joshua wants to settle the score immediately – he immediately drew with the only two players who beat him, Andy Ruiz Jr and Oleksandr Usyk.
That said, another loss to Dubois at this stage would certainly spell the end of the career of British boxing’s greatest ever star.
